[3.0] "Your usual pantomime HoT garbage. Uninteresting, repetitive, heatless, pointless. Just a match for the sake of a match. And Wolf continues to look like a massive geek. *1/2"
[2.0] "House Of Torture. It is indeed torture. Wolf/EVIL needed a resolve with EVIL leaving but this resolve just wasn't needed. Aaron wasn't even in the match enough to justify this. Wolf got jumped at the start and did nothing for the rest of the match. Then HoT again jumps Wolf at the END OF THE MATCH to just get a match announced. Gedo doesn't know how to book House Of Torture and it has been clearly shown. Master Wato and YOH are being wasted being House Of Torture fodder when the Junior division needs them desperately. This was badly paced with the limited move-set the House Of Torture, Toru Yano and Aaron Wolf have. Please get these guys away from House Of Torture."
[6.0] "Just fun stuff, y'know how it is. As the resident House of Torture fan, having to type a lot each time I wanna note a match I liked is a bit of a pain, but I fully understand why the rule is here. And that match was good for a HoT fan like me! Aaron Wolf you gotta carry this company man I believe in you dude"
[3.0] "Didn't liked it so much. Narita keeps growing on me every time he's out there. I wish Aaron Wolf was booked more like an actual shooter instead of a guy spamming the same judo throws. It was short at least, which might be its biggest compliment. House of Torture did their usual thing and by the end I mostly felt relieved it was over rather than entertained."
[4.0] "A mediocre match to follow the Wolf/EVIL confrontation. It wasn't illogical, but it could have been omitted. In-ring quality: 0.5/4. Stakes: 0.25/2. Justification: 0.75/1. Card placement: 1/1. Suspense: 1/1. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 4.5/10. Match watched on NJPW World."
[1.0] "I am so sick of House of Torture. So incredibly incredibly sick of them. It is not a good sign at all that they are going to keep Aaron Wolf stuck with this group. Watched this to see how he did, ended up saying I will check back in when he is doing something worth engaging with."
[3.0] "Just again utter H.o.T dross but at least it was only 5 minutes and they lost so that is always a positive. Although the fake ring bell spot was once again not at all funny in the slightest. I agree with other people saying that they're worried for Aaron Wolf that he was in this for all of 30 seconds and just dud the same judo throw spot as last night but i hope he comes good as he has a great look and presence. Overall just a pretty big waste of 5 minutes but at least it wasn't utter shit like normal when H.o.T are involved. (*1/2)"
"well, this was a let down after tanahashi and okada the night before. i won't be too hard on them cos there's always a natural come down in terms of work the day after wrestle kingdom"
[3.0] "This was the wrong way to follow up Wolf's Wrestle Kingdom performance though I do not think a match with Narita is a bad idea necessarily as he looked good in a big match situation opposite Sabre for the IWGP title last fall."
[3.0] "Standard HoT fare which was the wrong call given Wolf's success at WK. They didn't give him any time to shine or let the crowd get behind him, shame. *3/4."
[3.0] "Another weak HOT match complete with stupid ring bell spot half way through from Togo to wish people a happy New Year. I gave Aaron Wolf the benefit of the doubt at Wrestle Kingdon yesterday when his offence consisted mainly of judo throws. Seeing him today use that same judo throw over and over again as his sole offence makes me think his moveset is very very limited - you might be able to get away with that in the US if you have the drama and psychology nailed on but it ain't gonna fly in New Japan."
[4.0] "Worst match of the night so far. It was 5 minutes of nothing happening other than House of Torture cheating. Aaron Wolf was here and did Judo throws. I am worried about Wolf because he did the last night too. Overall, forgettable. [**]"
