[6.0] "I had no idea what was happening for the most part. There were cat girls, Godzilla toys, a bike and a footrace. Had a bit of chuckle, some bits didn't really hit but it was really fun, don't expect a crazy workrate match going into it but definitely expect some super ridiculous comedy spots."
[4.0] "Yeah this didn't do it for me. The crowd seemed to be into it and the bit with the bike becoming champion for a few minutes was sort of fun. I also enjoyed the ending bit when everyone got rolled up in the ring apron. Other than that I didn't really enjoy it. It felt longer than it was"
[0.0] "Children dressed as cats turned up before this, TJPW are never beating the allegations. We get all the usual spots you have seen a million times from Hyper Misao. I don't even watch this promotion anymore and I was tired of it in 3 minutes flat. The children continued to get involved and we had Ironman title change. I like comedy wrestling, the problem is, I still have all my critical facilities so I need comedy wrestling to actually be funny. I thought it was dire. I will be surprised if I see a match as bad as this that went to plan all year."
[7.0] "I had absolutely zero idea what was going on for most of the time. Despite this I was entertained. The image of Mahiro Kiryu getting run over and then pinned by a bike will be forever engraved in my memory and I haven't figured out yet if this is a good thing or not. Luckily, Mahiro regained the title soon afterwards."
[8.0] "The strangest thing I have ever seen take place inside of a wrestling ring. A woman was pinned by a bicycle at one point. That being said, I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish."
[1.0] "I'm not going to lie, I didn't like the match at all. I mean, I understand it was meant to be more of a comedy match than anything else, but I didn't even feel like that. It felt more like a jumble of things happening in the least polished way possible, and honestly, I didn't like it at all. It wasn't terrible, and I understand why someone might find it entertaining, but that wasn't the case for me."
[8.0] "The annual match between these two wrestlers was truly absurd, and therefore not everyone will necessarily like it. It's so absurd that Misao's bike became champion for a few moments."
[8.0] "Very hard to rate this "match" because as most Misao vs Shoko matches are, they aren't really matches in any traditional sense of the word, that said, this was about as absurd, chaotic, funny and entertaining as they always are and I definitely had fun seeing what kind of insanity they'd get up to."
[4.0] "This was an exceptionally silly match even by TJPW standards. The structure was so unconventional and so stop-start that I think even commentary and the live audience got confused. I didn't find it engaging."
[7.0] "While the previous match had more of a faint comedic tone, it prepped us for this one to be the full-blown comedic outing on the card, with it being more of a spectacle while also serving as a baptism for Kanzai into the comedic flavor of the promotion. It was a blast, and Ren having the thread of being the underdog, which was set up from the outset when she wasn't chosen as a favorite, who ultimately prevails with the help of Mahiro, who is always the victim of getting run over by Misao, was a neat and super charming touch. Shion's inexperience coming into play for the ending moments was a good touch too. Lots of fun gags were developed along the way. ***1/2"
[8.0] "i have zero clue what i just watched. with that being said, it was incredible. i hope shoko and misao are still facing eachother on 1.4 10 years from now"
[2.0] "I enjoyed their previous encounters and always had a good laugh watching them. Nakajima's work has always been my cup of tea, whether on the serious or comedic side. This time, though, they didn't even get a smile out of me. It was very disappointing. Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood, I don't know. Hopefully they continue their rivalry next year and I'll enjoy it again."
[10.0] "This was a really good match! Misao and Shoko delivered in every way possible! I enjoyed from start to finish! What a great comedy time in a wrestling show! The addition of the three umas was something hilarious!"
[10.0] "Japan has the zodiac, and 2026 is the year of the horse. It was a match with a wonderfully well-crafted script. Creative. Entertaining. I went to TJPW and NJPW on the same day, and what struck me was that it took place on the same day as Tanahashi's retirement match. It doesn't make sense. By getting a score of 10, things will go well this year. It will bring you good fortune."
[6.0] "The shine for this match every year has waned off for me since the first time i watched but its still an enjoyable enough comedy match though i do think its the least good in terms of comedy since their 2023 match i believe. Always easy to watch but the ceiling is rather low now."
[6.0] "It may be difficult to understand because a translation function is being used. I'm having a hard time rating this traditional New Year's match between these two, as I don't think it really lived up to its name as a match. However, the way Mahiro regained the Iron Man title was entertaining, and the three of them dressed as horses (especially Konatsu) were really cute, so I'll give it this score."
[6.0] "So, from what I can gather, Misao & Nakajima both placed bets on their respective 'horses' - with nether horse winning and instead Kiryu seemingly won - whilst also exchanging her Iron Man Heavy Metal title with a bike. As you'd expect, then. ***1/4."
[8.0] "That was an hilarious blast of creativity, the kind of matches that make TJPW what they are. Shion Kanzaki will for sure remember her first show."
[10.0] "I have absolutely no idea what this match was, but I throughly enjoyed it. The pinnacle of the comedy style. Couldn't stop laughing while watching this."
[7.0] "It really was a TJPW match, didnt read the rules before the match and didnt understand a thing, looks like it was won by Kiryu who wasnt in the match. Had a laugh"
[8.0] "An entertaining comedy match with plenty of surprises. My only minor complaint is that I really hope they could've brought a real horse into Korakuen, since Misao & Shoko's pre-match promos had them going to a stable. But I understand that was probably unrealistic considering the venue."
[8.0] "It's the yearly Misao Shoko comedy match. You either love them or they're not for you. I personally really enjoy them and this was another great one, managing to rope in the new rookie Shion along with Ren and Uta into a horse gambling ring. Really funny and delightful."
[9.0] "I usually go into these ittenyon Shoko vs Misao matches not entirely knowing what to expect but I did read up for this one, where they were horse race betting on which rookie could run around Korakuen first. Even with that foreknowledge this ended up bieng a wild crazy comedy match with a lot of unexpected turns. Delightful perfect comedy wrestling as usual."
