[3.0] "Having Theory's first singles match back end in a disqualification is so dumb especially after only 7 minutes too. They couldn't even give him time to showcase? Unfortunate."
[5.0] "If Theory had won clean here, and Penta returned to save Rey afterwards, would anything have been lost? Weird booking decision to have Theory unable to pick up a clean win against a 51 year old Rey Mysterio, and if anyone can survive a loss it's Rey. I liked how aggressive Theory looked but the booking just left me confused."
[4.0] "This match started very good with high speed wrestling, but it was ruined by Logan Paul's interruption. That is disappointment to me, because Austin Theory needed to win his first single match after gimmick change. I like his new theme song and entrence, but I hope that WWE can use him better."
[6.0] "Honestly this was a bit more than just another run-off-the mill match, Rey tried his best to put Theory over and Theory did a good job being the meathead putting him down. I especially liked that DDT reversal from the back rack. Then unexpectedly Paul ended it... nonetheless I didn't expect PENTA to return this early at all... was caught off hand with that, but a nice moment with that pop and a great way to make him return along with Rey."
[5.0] "Honestly was enjoying the match until the DQ. Rey was doing great selling for Theory and making him look credible. Theory looked strong throughout and the crowd seemed into it.Just felt like Theory returning needed a semi-clean win here so the DQ was more disappointing to me than in most matches."
[5.0] "I quite like Austin Theory and have done so for a while now. There, I said it. The DQ finish was a big let down for me because some pretty decent stuff was happening before that."
[3.0] "Austin Theory isn't good and I'm not saying in-ring wise but he isn't good enough to be at the top of the card because he's at best a Role Player in WWE a guy who can be a cocky dipshit heel in the Mid-Card challenge for the Mid-Card Belt but lose everytime. Also, what didn't make sense is why have a DQ Finish? I would've had an Austin Theory win over Rey Mysterio, then Penta comes out and makes the save, the win for Austin Theory. Could've built more credibility for his serious character and raised his stock more. I do like the fact that Penta is now back involved in this story because that pop he got is of a Main Event Level, and I think in 2026, they need to give him some hardware. But the match wasn't good. Rey Mysterio tried everything to carry, but Austin Tehory isn't good. He's very average and very generic. He's like a generic wrestler you make on WWE 2K, and you don't touch the preset moveset and entrance. They should have had Montez Ford in his sport besides him."
[7.0] "This frustrated me, becuase the match was really good and if they had just given Austin Theory the win he'd look very strong on his return, but they went with another screwy finish."
[5.0] "I'm still not buying Austin Theory. He paces around with a look on his face like he pushing out a turd in his pants. This is an ok match but it sounded to me like the crowd was mostly apathetic towards him."
[6.0] "Theory/Mysterio is good. The in-ring action is very decent with Theory being aggressive. Rey once again doesn't look 50 in the ring because he's still as good as ever. The ending isn't good. Why not have Theory win (even by cheating) instead of a DQ?"
