I always thought the finish was quite silly - the way they have to cover up the impact of the Swanton to hide the obvious padding is pretty goofy, but despite this I have chosen to be slightly generous with my rating as I believe that there is something to be said for how enduringly memorable this bout is. All these years later I could still remember all the key moments, with my favourite being Jeff sliding down the rail on the staircase. A fun time capsule of the era that I'm sure a lot of fans have great nostalgia for. |

It's easily my favorite Falls Count Anywhere match ever, the one with the most creative spots and it was obvious that putting Jeff in such a stipulation at that time was a golden idea. He was on a different level and he loved to take huge risks, which you have to appreciate. So let's mention the final spot of this match which remains one of my favorite moments in WWE history : Jeff jumping off the top of the truck. As a child, I was just dazzled by this moment that I found unimaginable and I still find it legendary. The rest of the match is obviously awesome too and I almost know it by heart, I love the moment on the stairs when Jeff slides down the railing. God bless this match. |
