[5.0] "On the plus side, they had good psychology working on Taker's eyes. It is a logical way one could fight Taker at this point in time, and it is well performed. On the flip side of that, this was a no DQ stipulation and they did pretty much nothing with it. The dust in the eyes could have easily been covered by a ref distraction. Nothing else is done to warrant the stipulation, so this feels like a real waste. This wasn't anything special, but it was a fine match for its runtime. Told a story, didn't overstay its welcome, and finished its business."

[3.0] "How can a match with two wrestlers I love this much be this bad? It feels like these two had anti-chemistry. Maybe this is my fault because I saw "final curtain" and thought "Hollywood ending" when this was basically just a singles match. This was so slow, Goldust hit Taker with some mist early on and it slowed the match down to a grinding halt."

[3.0] "When you strip away all the gimmicks and pagentry, this was a match between two burly Texans. Whilst that is usually a winning combination, these two seem to have anti-chemistry with each other. Both Undertaker and Goldust could be hit or miss around this time and they brought out the worst in each other. This is Undertaker's first big match since Paul Bearer betrayed him and this match's purpose whether or not Undertaker can survive without him. Goldust takes control of Undertaker by throwing gold glitter and blinding him. Goldust was very dull when working on top, but it is not long before Undertaker disposes him with relative ease after a Tombstone. The stipulation never comes into play here at all and just feels like a waste of time."

[4.0] "These two had some enjoyable matches during their feud, but this wasn't one of them. The action was slow and plodding, and the gold dust spot that was supposed to leave Undertaker blinded for much of the match really killed any rhythm. This feud dragged on longer than it needed to, and it shows. The blowoff did neither man any favors, and Undertaker's character really needs the character refresh that he'll get in 97."

The spot where Undertaker lifts up Marlena when shes distracting him was a fun spot but thats about it and besides the moment where Goldust blinds the Undertaker to gain some control, the match plays out with a dominant Undertaker win as you would expect."

The stipulation here doesn't even get used, as Goldust for some reason has to use a distraction to throw dust in The Undertaker's face. Another pass from me."

This is their best of the series I think. Taker flying solo in his first ppv since Bearer left. Goldust gets quite a bit of offense but it fails when Taker choke slams him off the top rope then tomb stones him 10 minutes in to win. Can we move on?"

[8.0] "The blowoff to the Undertaker-Goldust side feud of 1996. I rate matches more as productions (video package to fade out), and while it's not a "classic match, " it's a really fun production. The pre-match video is cool, the entrances are both fun, Taker finally gets the long-delayed win. It's a fun watch, and that's enough for me."

[5.0] "I believe this is just a pin falls only match. Nothing really fancy, just a brand name to make a match seem more special. A very Gabe Sapolsky move by the WWF. Two of the more famous gimmicks that the WWF has ever produced. This is a bit better than their match at Beware of Dog which was mostly them stalling. There was a ton more oomph to this. Goldust gets launched into the turnbuckles to kick off the match, Taker works faster than usual and shows tons of urgency in his offence. Rabid fast punches, quicker to get on Goldust whenever he tries to get away. Taker picking up Marlena was a pretty cool spot that also transitioned nicely into Goldust gaining control via goldust being thrown in Taker's eyes. Goldust works Taker over for a bit before Taker does his sit up and makes a comeback. A basic match that ends the sub-feud for Taker before he moves back to his main foe, Mankind. **3/4"
