Andrade Almas vs. Tye Dillinger

[6.0] "Fun little debut match here for Andrade. While nowhere near Nakamura's debut a few months earlier, it was a decent match and introduced the WWE audience to the Mexican star."

[5.0] "Andrade's NXT debut was enjoyable enough versus "good hand" Tye Dillinger. It was short, but a fun enough opener that gave Andrade a chance to showcase his skills. **1/2"

[7.0] "Seems like an unpopular opinion here, but I found this match to be very enjoyable. It was dynamic and full of action. And it wasn't the typical debut squash. Both Tye and Andrade got good stuff in, and the crowd was all for it. If it was a little longer, it definitely would have been quite the spectacle. ***1/2"

The work is lovely and Andrade has enough room to introduce a potential hit or two. Better yet, this is a very breezy opener, packed with action at just over five minutes. Flawed as a debut but bell to bell, a very tidy little match. ***"

[6.0] "Short little fun match to open up the card. Usually expecting bigger matches at the start of the shows, but this showed that Adrade was going to be a star. Solid performance from Dillenger too. Nothing crazy but far from bad."

[2.0] "This match soured me on Andrade for a long time. It wasn't really his fault but what an awful gimmick to debut him with. The match was short and really not worth much."

[6.0] "This was a fun sprint and a great debut for Almas in NXT. Tye felt like a perfect foil for Almas to show what he has in the arsenal and amaze the crowd. Speaking of the crowd, Full Sail is always one of the compact & powerful crowds in a wrestling show. 3 out of 5 stars!"
