Mr. Kennedy vs. The Undertaker

[8.0] "I loved this! Really fantastic brawl! Big highlight moment with Taker being thrown OFF THE SET like 20 feet down! And then he still wins lol. They used the hearse well, cool camera shot when Kennedy put Taker in it and went to drive it away only for Taker to sit up and grab him, that was so cool. Then the finish was cool with Taker choke-slamming him on the hearse and then Tomb-stoning him too on it! Ouch! Really awesome stuff, great way to cap this feud off. Kennedy lost nothing because it's Taker c'mon."

[9.0] "A really great brawl between both men with great action and spots throughout the arena and on the stage, their psychology between each other was also great, and this was an amazing use of the last ride stipulation."

[6.0] "This match does a really good job of making itself look and feel bigger than it is, but it misses the mark somewhat. Taker controls WAY too much of the match. A very large portion of it is Kennedy trying to run away for him and Taker catching him and beating on him more. When Kennedy has control, he isn't exactly doing anything impressive. A sleeper, a few weapon shots, etc. Props to Taker for taking a big bump here, but much like the Wrestlemania 17 bump, the very obviously placed mattress/crash pad kind of kills the spot. Big falling spots like this lose their impact when you hear a very soft, cushy 'boof' at the end instead of a thud. And then when the camera cuts to the mattress that is poorly covered, it takes the rest away. The finish on the hearse roof is cool, Kennedy is selling like a champion, and the shot of Taker sitting up behind Kennedy in the driver's seat is fantastic. There is a lot here to like and a lot more to hide a somewhat one-sided beat down. It is an enjoyable match but also one that maybe lost its purpose."

[6.0] "This takes a while to click, but ultimately gets over the line by embracing the stipulation's silliness. As a spectacle, this works well, getting the people onboard with a 'Taker presentation that wouldn't have been out of place over a decade prior. Kennedy isn't particularly good here, but this is armed with enough bells and whistles to get the job done, even if after some early bloat. ***"

[7.0] "Props to Taker for taking the big bump of the match even though you could easily see the pad but whatever, this match was still decent"

[6.0] "I liked the feud more than the matches, although this was their best one and it wasn't bad. I like Kennedy as this heel who always gets away with beating bigger guys, but I think if he got the juice earlier and let Taker beat the hell out of himself the impact would have been bigger. It was fine though and the crowd seemed to be into it."

[9.0] "I thought this match was awesome. I was a bigger fan than most of the Mr Kennedy vs Undertaker matches with the stiff brawls and old school action and had it not been for circumstances this could have helped elevate Kennedy to the main event and a future world champion."

[6.0] "There were moments when the action was slowing down, but it was watchable. Kudos for ending the feud in a proper way."

[8.0] "This is an underrated match from this era of Taker's career. Worth checking out if you've never seen it."

[6.0] "This was a rather entertaining gimmick match with the use of the hearse gives it a bit more spice than your usual casket mask. There's some decent walking and brawling and some good bumps towards the end. The Undertaker's zombie spot and Kennedy's reaction was great thanks to the camera in the hearse, and you can also clearly see Kennedy take out his blade when he is being dragged out."

[7.0] "It was pretty good for an Undertaker gimmick match. Some of these gimmick matches are silly, but this one worked and it felt like the end of the rivalry. Undertaker took the big bump, yet still managed to come back for the win. I really enjoyed this. ***1/2"
