Gregory Helms vs. Jimmy Wang Yang

[6.0] "When JWY was on offense it was a lot of fun with his athletic offense, but Helms is so boring and bland that he hurt the quality and the crowd seemed to agree with me. He just lacks so much. The match was overall decent with JWY carrying it and the final minute was quite good."

[7.0] "the crowd weren't the most invested in this match, but it was still a solid one between both men for what it was with some nice and fast paced in ring work and chemistry between each other."

[5.0] "This just BARELY gets 5 points in my book. It was a pretty mediocre match. For the most part it was pretty generic cruiserweight stuff with only spots here and there that elevated it. It was only a 10 minute match and the material was so bland it felt twice as long as it was. The crowd just wanted them to go away too. It ended up being fine due to the big moves such as the heelkick catching Helms coming off the top towards the end, but this was certainly nothing special."

[6.0] "The people aren't with this, being rejected enough that JBL plays defence for the lads on commentary. In fairness, it's a pretty good wrestling match, sporting a real rugged edge in addition to some creativity. They never hook the people, but their work is engaging enough regardless. **3/4"

[5.0] "The match itself was alright, but the problem was Jimmy who was not over with the crowd. His work was good, but he was vanilla and he wasn't built enough to make the fans care about him. Helms was a decent heel here, but without a strong babyface you won't get the crowd going."

The match itself was really good but Wang Yang was a weak challenger and the crowd didn't believe him winning the match but still it was a good match. ***1/4"
