[0.0] "The women's WarGames match was bad too. It felt totally unnecessary and forced onto the card just because the event needs a WarGames stipulation now. The only real memorable moment was the big spot from Iyo Sky, and you could tell the whole structure was built around that one highlight. Outside of it, the match dragged and never really built consistent drama. AJ Lee barely added anything meaningful and did not feel impactful."
[4.0] "This was not good, they were all going through the motions except Iyo which is why she's the best her moon Sault spot was the highlight of the night. (2.0*)"
[5.0] "good showcase for Lash she got some time to show her power. I thought Asuka and Charlotte started it off well. But there wasn't enough violence/big spots aside from the cool Iyo spot."
[6.0] "There were flashes of chaos and everyone clearly worked hard, but the match lacked urgency. The weapons and cage didn't feel all that dangerous or important, and a lot of the middle sections felt like waiting around for the next big moment. By the end, it was entertaining enough and had a memorable finish, but it didn't hit the emotional or dramatic level you'd want from this match type. Good in parts, forgettable in others. Overall it was fine."
[5.0] "Nothing glaringly wrong on a technical level but the woman's war games match has been borderline an exhibition match for years now and the streak continues here. They are fighting for nothing, theres no stakes. I appreciate Lash Legend getting some splotlight, Triple H clearly is a huge fan of her (Way more than HBK seemingly although could have been a case where he was just waiting for her to get called up). Becky Lynch is WWE wrestler of the year btw"
[3.0] "I'm sorry, but nothing worked in this match. One bad thing after another: between mistakes, wrong tackles, and terrible writing of the match, I barely tolerated any of it. What a shame. I don't know how they had the nerve to propose something like that, by far the worst Wargames of recent years"
[8.0] "I thought this match had great pace and did a great job of story-telling. Kicked off with Asuka and Charlotte Flair and it was rolling from there. Nice work from Becky and was entertaining all the way through."
[4.0] "This "WarGames" match was an empty, boring, and useless spectacle that failed on every front. The non-existent build-up meant I didn't care, and my low expectations for WWE's PG version were unfortunately met. The story-telling was absent, the quality of wrestling was poor, and the trademark violence of the stipulation was nowhere to be found, I've seen single matches that were more brutal. The match felt sloppy, slow, and utterly meaningless, with the stipulation feeling forced rather than necessary. Absurd moments like the babyface having the initial advantage and heel Kairi Sane's ridiculous comeback against three opponents highlighted the poor coordination. Nothing was memorable, Iyo Sky performed the same annual spot, and not a single star shined. This was a poorly executed mess with more bad moments than good, and its failure unfortunately dulls anticipation for future WarGames matches."
[6.0] "I was considering a 5, which would be neutral for me. I'm giving it a 6, among other things, for Iyo's jump from the top of the cage. Other than that, the fight was just plain boring, and seriously, Lash coming out last?"
[10.0] "I gonna give these women a 10 because they were CLEARLY held back in this match, you can tell that just by seen how many objects they brought to the cage, Charlotte and Asuka had a cute match in the beggining, Kabuki Warriors spots were on point, IYO SKY trash can dive was CRAZY. Lash Legend SHINED. Becky character work was great, they did the best with what they were given, I tought this types of treatmen to the Women's Division end with the Divas Era, but with a lot of the guys from that era been still employed in WWE I guess things didnt changed that much."
[4.0] "A most bland and forgettable affair. It was extremely listless throughout; the only notable spot was Iyo jumping off of the top of the cage with a trash can over her upper half, but even that is a spot we have seen variations of before. As it currently stands, WWE's version of The Match Beyond is anything but, especially when compared to the bloodbaths AEW does. While I generally stray from comparing different promotions, the comparison here is unavoidable given how closely both promotion's takes on WCW's star stipulation fell this year. And in WWE's case there was nothing of note. The switch to having each participant do their full entrance only made things even more glacial. By the time they all finally entered there was little to write home about. I am seriously struggling to remember anything other the finish other than that much of the wrestling was either sloppy or too light, and very frequently it was both. Given that this was supposed to be a hellish struggle of survival, it only served to further undermine the stipulation. There was also very little in the way of tension or story beats really. The tension that supposedly existed between Rhea and Charlotte didn't come into play at all. It's like the match agents totally forgot that WWE had spent TV time teasing friction between them. Overall, this was as uneventful of a War Games bout as you could possibly imagine. While there have been worse matches involving this stipulation--the overbooked clusterfucks in late WCW come to mind immediately--this was easily the least exciting and least memorable version WWE has ever done. Bleh. **"
[8.0] "I thought that it was a good match. A bit too chaotic at times but still. The interactions before the start of the match were pretty good. I thought the stretch after the official start felt a little short even, but was also good. I enjoyed it."
[6.0] "I may be a little biased in this match, considering most of the women in here are my favorites, but this was still a pretty decent WarGames match. Asuka and Lash Legend both looked very good in this match, and while AJ Lee didn't do too much, she was still a welcome addition, and people shouldn't be expecting her to do top rope 450's in her 2nd match after a 10 year layoff. ***"
"Though this match was good, it was definitely the worst Women's WarGames Match that has been done under the Main Roster banner. There was a very noticeable lack in weapon usage, and although some of the women brought in their own weapons from the back, accessories or not, it was very obvious that something was missing in the match, which made it feel very lackluster. As well as this, the idea of not having the cages be by the stage felt very weird. Making the stage smaller to create more seating area is something that has been done almost way too many times now, but doing it in a way that gets rid of a main staple of a match type? It wasn't just a good decision whatsoever. On the plus side of things, the match featured AJ Lee's second match since she made her return, Lash Legend had her long-awaited main roster debut, and this match gets a few slight decimal points for me because of the "AJ can't give Iyo the trash can because she's too short" bit."
[10.0] "I liked it. Great WarGames. A sweet and wholesome match. I really like the idea of combining AJ Lee + Alexa Bliss + Rhea Ripley + Iyo Sky + Charlotte Flair into one team. An perfect team. Charlotte is just gorgeous. The way she paid attention to the girl during her entrance was really cute. And overall, all the girls in this match are beautiful -- well, except Lash Legend and Nia Jax, who almost ruined the match with their presence. I was afraid that a good match would be spoiled by a pin on a wrestler who didn't deserve it. That some stupid overbooking or something would happen. But everything was fine. My favorite wrestler in history, AJ Lee, made Becky Lynch submit with a Black Widow. Perfect. I enjoyed AJ Lee's interactions with every wrestler. I also liked the relationships, the help, and the resilience of the winning team members. We probably won't see them in a team again. The start with Charlotte and Asuka, referencing their rivalry, was pretty good."
[2.0] "Maybe I'm just overreacting but this is genuinely one of the worst matches I've ever watched and somehow it's even worse on the second watch. There are acceptable sections of the match, in particular there's some alright wrestling done but nothing that you couldn't see on an average RAW or Smackdown. That's fine, every WarGames match needs some wrestling it can't just be all spots, surely the WWE allowed them to do something interesting or noteworthy? You'd be incorrect. The most true action we see is the same Iyo Sky trashcan spot that was done really poorly honestly. I'm not against choreographed spots, especially if camera works helps mask what is going on, but doing the same derivative thing again but this time a front flip doesn't interest me. Everything was half assed, no blood, few weapons and those that are used are essentially toys, and no stiffness/seriousness in the entire thing. In total, just a boring waste of thirty minutes that didn't even need to be in a cage, no idea why they needed this stipulation."
[4.0] "Better than the Men's match, but that's not saying much. This was still boring, and uninspired. I thought AJ Lee being in the ring with a bunch of ladies who are easy to work with, and help elevate their contemporaries would be fun, but they didn't give her anything. I was actually surprised, and disappointed they didn't give her anything. I really like Lash Legend, so it's also disappointing to see they let her come out last and didn't build upon her being the upcoming brute within that division. The talent is there, but you can't just expect her roots to expand into this giant bean stalk. Most stalks and trees, grow better when connecting, and nurturing with other trees in the area. You can't make a star, without the proper build. Which is the perfect story of this match. You can't make a match, based off of a build. The build was better than the Men's, and actually utilized past storylines to create what could've been a good edition to War Games. Instead, we got one of the most boring matches of this match type. Not the worst though. Surprisingly. **3/4"
[4.0] "Much more digestible to me then the men's match. But man it isn't saying much because this also blows chunks. It is awful for the entire early parts of the match. While we're going back and fourth waiting for the match itself to start it is some real bad wrestling. Some outlandish psychology super sloppy wrestling and just things not landing how they should. That last part could have something to do with the camera work itself. But once the match itself started it did get slightly better and digestible. Cool staredowns people had good moments but still nothing memorable in the entire match. Pointless match that nothing came out of it. (**1/4)"
[5.0] "It was honestly kind of cruel to Lash Legend making her enter last when she has been on the main roster full time for less than a month. Nobody recognised her theme and even if they did what exactly do they have to go off of to warrant Lash as the final entrant? So she had this really awkward walk to the ring in what should have been a pop spot and I can't even blame her for it. Other than that it was better than last years in that it wasn't a massive botchfest but I still felt myself drifting off into window watching or finding any excuse to get up and move around. There's only so many ways Iyo can jump with a bin on her head before it gets played out and I think after last years match was the time to stop. All very rehearsed, not particularly violent, entrance order all wrong and no real reason for the match to happen."
[2.0] "This match is fucking awful and full of problems. Who decided the entrances? Why is Becky Lynch second for the heel team? Why whip Legend last? And the entrances aren't the only problems, where are the weapons? The tables? Why aren't the stories in these wargames really fleshed out? Why does Asuka press Alexa's shoulder instead of choking her with the chain? Why doesn't Becky open the door when AJ Lee is climbing over her, why does Nia and Lash go to pin Alexa and Charlotte, AJ interrupts Nia's pin, and Lash breaks up the pinfall? What a horrible match."
[5.0] "The best match on the card, but unfortunately that isn't saying a lot. First issue I have with the match was there not really being a good reason why most of these women are going against each other. Is this feud derived from Rhiyo vs the Kabuki warriors? Or Becky and AJ Lee feud? Does it really make sense to mix both in one match? I understand Becky becoming the leader because that is in her character, but it wouldve been cool if there was a power struggle between Asuka and Becky. Charlotte vs Becky going against each other was dope. I always liked seeing them wrestle and would love to see them go at it again at WM maybe. Lash main roster PPV debut was odd; she was the last entrance and then got venom spitted by her own teammate? The rest of the match was forgettable. Wasn't a fan of the recycled Iyo spot from prior WarGames, and heels losing this match made no sense. Hopefully we wont see WarGames matches for a while, and if we do hopefully there will be a better storyline involved."
[3.0] "This was another bad wargames match for the women of WWE, it was too long and dragged out, the action and spots between everyone involved just was sloppy at times and no violence was truly felt here with everything done."
[3.0] "The booking, some botches made by Nia Jax, the order of the entrances (the last one was Lash Legend, who decided that? ) and other things are enough to describe it as the worst WarGames ever made by WWE. (3/10)"
[6.0] "The stipulation is not amazing but i did enjoy this match. I was a fan of the way they did the entrances this time with their music playing. But I think seeing everyone interacting in the cage is part of the fun of war games. This match wasn't bad and there were definite parts that I enjoyed but overall this match could have been better. I think this match type only really works with proper feuds which they haven't really done for a while."
[3.0] "Empty, blank, boring, useless, so many words can descrive this "wargames" match but not a single one is positive. The build-up for this match sucked (calling it a build-up already is quite generous) so I didn't care about it and I had low expectations because WWE PG wargames usually sucks... this one was no different. Babyface having the advantage still is stupid, heel Kairi Sane did a babyface comeback beating 3 people all by herself it was quite ridiculous, this was the least brutal wargames in history I've seen grappling matches more brutal than that, there is nothing to remember in the match I can't tell you anything they did except for Iyo doing the same spot every year, absolutely no one shined, and even the execution was quite poor it was very sloppy"
[3.0] "This was boring, and just like last year's match, very boring. This match added no substance, and I think this should've been a Traditional 5 vs. 5 Elimination Match, and I bet you it would've been so much better. I think this match was just a here, damn match as the build-up sucked, and the match wasn't good, and I like every lady in this match, this isn't on them, it's on the people booking this didn't need a WarGames at all. Stop with this concept, it's pointless now. You drained the life out of it."
[5.0] "This was ok. IYO's swanton with the trash can was obviously the best thing of the entire show but outside of that there really wasn't anything going on in this match"
[6.0] "Other then Iyo's senton of the top, there just wasn't anything to get excited about in this match, it started off slow and sluggish and didn't pick up any momentum."
"The Women's WarGames match was pretty decent overall, but honestly, it could've been a lot tighter. There were moments where it felt like nobody was on the same page, and some of the spots looked more confusing than exciting. The entry order definitely didn't help--it felt like they just tossed people in without thinking about who should pick up the pace or who should slow things down. A couple of the botches were noticeable enough to take you out of the match for a second, and sometimes it felt like the chaos wasn't the fun kind, just the messy kind. That said, there were some genuinely good moments. IYO SKY's trash-can swanton was the one big "okay, that was sick" spot of the night, Rhea and Charlotte working together for half a split second was surprisingly cool, and AJ Lee tapping out Becky with the octopus hold was a solid way to tie up the story. So yeah, the match wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either--just kind of uneven with some bright highlights. I'd give it a 7/10."
"The Women's WarGames match was honestly a blast to watch. Like yeah, there were a couple of awkward moments here and there, but bro, with ten people in a giant cage, of course someone's gonna slip, fall, or forget whose turn it is. The entry order felt kinda random, like someone just spun a wheel backstage and went "yep, send her in, " but once everyone started piling in, it got way more fun. IYO SKY doing that front flip with a whole trash can on her head was insane--she looked like she said "whatever happens, happens" and jumped. Rhea and Charlotte helping each other for a sec was a nice touch, giving Jax and Legend some shine too and AJ Lee tapping out Becky with the octopus hold was actually such a cool finish, especially with their beef going on. Not a perfect match, but super entertaining and definitely worth an 7.5/10"
"The Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series turned out to be a strong and entertaining clash, packed with the usual chaos that comes with ten top names sharing two rings and a cage. Despite a few small mishaps and an entry order that felt like it could've been planned with a bit more intention, the match kept its momentum and delivered several standout moments that made it easy to overlook the rough edges. IYO SKY's wild swanton bomb with a trash can was the highlight everyone will remember, Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair unexpectedly working together added a fun wrinkle to their dynamic, and AJ Lee tapping out Becky Lynch with an octopus hold gave the finish real emotional weight while pushing their rivalry forward in a meaningful way. Overall, it was a fun, chaotic, creatively charged WarGames that did more right than wrong and comfortably earns an 8/10."
[7.0] "Wrestling on this match was really good and IYO SKY's Swanton Bomb from the top of the cage was hilarious, but it's only one big moment of this match. The main issue that it doesn't feel like war games, just a tornado tag match on 2 rings. Spots was boring for this concept, but I love the ending, where Becky got a few finishers and lost."
[3.0] "Comparing it to AEW's Women's Blood & Guts really showcases how toothless and bland Wargames has become, and how lame the Women's match was. No real intensity to it, people stalling and posing on the ramp to get their entrances in, and obviously rehearsed big spots. I like Becky Lynch's character work, and it was the right finish, but I just didn't feel the 'war' in Wargames."
[1.0] "The story-telling wasn't there, the quality of wrestling wasn't there, the violence of War Games wasn't there. This was sloppy, boring, slow, and meaningless from the off; the stipulation felt forced rather than necessary by any means, and I very much feel that poor execution one year takes away from anticipation the next. Given the calibre of the stars involved, this was a poorly coordinated mess with more bad moments than I can be bothered to list."
[6.0] "Honestly, the action doesn't pick up until Kairi comes in for her and Asuka to work their magic. Iyo botched a springboard and Becky's yelling at the camera sounded forced. That one bit where they tied Iyo, Charlotte with a chain was cool and seeing AJ Lee rivalling with Becky again is fun. The biggest highlight for me is Iyo dropkicking Kairi while her head was in a trash can whilst Rhea had her locked up. I've just seen the prime logo on one of the turnbuckles, if Logan Paul has a match on this pay per view and wins, I'm gonna do something drastic. Asuka has just accidentally sprayed mist in Lash Legend, which was awesome. And Iyo has just done a senton with a trash can over her into 4 of the other team, leading to Becky getting 5v1'd and tapped out by AJ again! Pretty sweet finish and I love the continuity but we've already seen this before, one PPV ago! Why not have Iyo pin Asuka? But anyway, this match was alright at best, with nothing terrible about it but very minimal highlights."
"Women's WarGames 2025 was good, not great but not bad. Charlotte Flair is one of the best wrestlers currently, and her match with Becky Lynch to revive their famous feud was amazing. AJ Lee's return was very nice and deserved to end the match. Nia Jax is weak as usual. Lash Legend showed strong skills and her strikes felt real. Becky Lynch needs to return to her 2019 persona, she became too comical. The biggest flaw was the very early ending; it could have lasted 10-15 minutes or more, the match didn't fully utilize the wrestlers' potential."
[4.0] "There came a point in the late 2010s where Shane McMahon matches started to go massively downhill because, after taking on the Undertaker and doing that memorable jump-off-the-cell spot (a continuation of a long line of insane spots from Shane O), he just kept replaying the hits again. That's how I'm feeling about WarGames as of late, at least in the Contractual Obligation We Must Have WarGames Because It's November way WWE are doing it. And WWE know this, because they got rid of the Hell in a Cell PLE for pretty much the same reason, which in turn led to HIAC coming back for Bad Blood last year being one of the promotion's best matches of 2024. So an awkwardly build creates an awkward and frankly dull match, where the only bright light was Iyo doing the Obligatory Put Mr Trashcan On Her Head And Jump From The Top Of The Cage Spot, and even then it had the air of just doing it for the social media engagement (hell, Barrett said as much). More than anything, though, this match is emblematic of certain challenges WWE is facing and HHH is either blind to or content enough that he can ignore: if you MUST create a storyline babyface advantage, at least try to neutralise it come match time; that's just simple booking psychology. Additionally, the match ended up completely heatless for many stretches, most notably when Lash Legend came out last to absolutely zero pop from 40, 000+ in attendance. Coupled with the men's match being a shitter, it might be a good idea to think carefully about what happens for Survivor Series in 2026."
[6.0] "This was decent and nothing more. The storytelling was very, very weird. We get a bit of this, then a bit of that, and it all feels fake and full of botched spots. Overall, very underwhelming. The only good thing in this was the five minutes between Asuka and Charlotte. ***"
[3.0] "I haven't watched WWE for over 7 years, potentially longer, so clearly it's changed a lot since then. And maybe only being a month or so off Blood & Guts, which pushed so many boundaries, especially for the women's division, this is an unfair comparison. I understand this is a much more sanitised product, but it feels like wrestling is third inline, behind 'entertainment' and 'merchandise'. I mean that in the sense of, lets have a Kairi come in with a chain, what damage can be done with that? Oh, she'll wrap it around her hand and punch people, then like everyone else who brought a weapon in, throw it to the side so no one gets hurt - isn't that the whole point? Charlotte set the tone of that when she took the kendo stick off Becky then tossed it away. What logic is there to do that, inside a war games cage of all things. Throughout, it was hard to distinguish who was on Team Asuka and who was on Team Thea. Apart from Asuka and Kairi, who are clearly a tag team, they all seemed like mismatched wrestlers thrown together for the sake of the match. Even the prematch build up was tame and didn't suggest any bitter rivalries. The only ones to come out of this mess looking good was Lash Legend, Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane - although lets talk about that bin spot at the end. Surely she had a pinfall, but was completely ignored for the sake of 'entertainment'. Oh, and what's with Nia Jax? They built her up on commentary as being an unstoppable force of nature, yet her offense is so tame she's anything but. It seemed like she was scared of hurting anyone, to the point of picking Iyo up, only to put her straight back down again. Is overhead moves banned now? Likewise, the match patterns are quickly learnt, 20 seconds to go, hold onto someone in the corner/on the floor/against the cage and wait patiently for new entrant. They will bring a weapon and hit one person with it before tossing aside."
[4.0] "[2 Stars] It was awful. There wasn't a single thing I liked about this match. And even if you can call it a match, it's a parody, and the main roster's war games are parodies of Blood & Guts for children."
[8.0] "Im very confused on why it's so negative. I thought it was fun. Lash looked like a star and was put into the same position Rhea was in in the 2022 wargames where she came out kicked ass and then was misted. Iyos spot is always fun and the teamwork with Rhea and Charlotte continued there story. Alexa looked and moved great.Im loving Becky's heel persona it's bloody hilarious and the kabukis looked vicious. Nia was there. And it moves forward some stories. Are the kabukis gonna feud with Rhiyo again or Alexa And Char. Becky and Aj is going to be fun and im looking forward to how the push Lash"
[4.0] "Where was the war or excitement or surprise in this match? Idk...something. Start well with asuka vs charlotte and a bit of good wrestling. Iyo continue being so fucking amazing, but her spot was one of the biggest unnatural thing that i saw in my life... Alexa, well...do what she can do pretty decent, the selling of Becky, please, what a bullshit was that? and the cameramen recorded for too much seconds. The end, totally anticlimatic, I expect very little in ring/spots, but at least I expected some kind of spicy between Rhea and Charlotte or Alexa and Charlotte, a heel turn of Alexa, nothing, 40 minutes of totally bland nothing."
[8.0] "I thought this was the better of the two war games matches. The finish fell kind of flat but not as flat as whatever the fuck the main event was. AJ Lee still has hella ring rust so it made sense to sideline her and leave her for second to last. What sucked is she barely wrestled once she did come out. I think Lash Legend looked best in this match. She is an incredible athlete and am looking forward to what she accomplishes on the man roster."
[5.0] "The wrestling and logic were good for the most part but the match felt long and emotionless. I didn't expect extreme lengths of violence but it did need something more. It's possible this match was laid out the way it was because they're a second wargames match coming up. That's why you don't book two of the same gimmick matches on the same show, especially not on the level of a wargames. Hopefully this means the men's match later on will go all out."
[2.0] "We take the Wargames 2024 and we do the same thing but worse, the stipulation is not even used, we have the impression that the cages are useless, not even animosity, no violence just emptiness it was not good."
[4.0] "Boring average and impact less match. the most violent spots in the match were a combination or rhea and iyo giving prism trap to kairi in a trash can and then iyo kicking it. in my opinion the heels should have won. i don't know whats the endgame for aj tapping outy becky again. every year iyo top of the cage spot, some kendo shots and then they all gang up on one heel and then babyfaces win. every year same story and its getting worse and worse. no real stakes for winning wargames."
[4.0] "A hollow and empty shell of a match. Completely sterile and lame. A match that genuinely felt like a producer forgot to agent because the entire match felt like the wrestlers were winging it and then someone said oh yeah Iyo do your trash can jump again. It's a fun spot but this is the fourth year in a row she has done it and it's the only thing that happened in this match of interest because the rest was so utterly boring. There are people in this match I love or have loved in the past. IYO, Rhea, Auska, Kairi, Charlotte and Becky and everyone phoned it in here. Becky with her new character continues to make me cringe running away from AJ Lee who unfortunately is still isnt really setting the world on fire. And poor Lash Legend comes out to complete silence. Alot of the match is people standing around waiting for the next opponent. I just found it really funny that Michael Cole is hyping up this match as a barbaric career ender and the most violent weapon in the match is a kendo stick painted black. Throughly lame stuff here even for a WWE hardcore match. 40 minutes of nothing."
[7.0] "Match of the night. The spots hit hard the pace ebbed and flowed naturally, and everybody felt like they contributed to the match quality. Never came close to being a noteworthy wargames match, but that's perfectly fine and it really set the crowd up for a fun time (unfortunately this was the only match to deliver that tonight)."
