[9.0] "Great women's match here. Statlander always brings the goods in my view and I'm glad she joined the short list of wrestlers who have beaten Mone. Mercedes did a solid job, she still doesn't hype me as much as some others but her talent is obvious."
[6.0] "It was competent, but in a card full of destruction, this felt like a safe, by-the-numbers filler. A decent match, but felt lifeless at times and it lacked any real stakes beyond "championship match". The crowd seemed highly disinterested, which hurts the match as well."

[7.0] "Stat/Mone 1 & 2 were great. This one wasn't quite up to that level, but close enough. Mercedes is a special athlete, wrestler, and star. Her matches are never even close to mediocre. Statlander is a deserving champion and special in her own right. The only thing I don't like here is that Mercedes just wrestled Toni for this belt. I don't mind the angle where she is unable to win it, but we're getting yet another Women's champion vs champion match on a card that desperately could have used another women's match. Mercedes defending the TNT vs someone else and Statlander facing someone like Megan Bayne would be a better call. But, they probably painted themselves into a corner with Women's Blood & Guts and the Women's Tag tourney occurring in the same month. Not enough of a story. Mone working Stat's arm is very good by both, but leads to a slower pace late in a long card. Mercedes pulling off 14 amigos on the much bigger Statlander is impressive. Mercedes is tiny. I like Stat selling the arm to the point that she has to lift Mercedes up one-handed repeatedly. The 2nd half is very good with a lot of reversals and a few times where Stat really punishes Mone - two or so off the top rope. No surprise on the victor, as Stat just won it. Very curious where we go from here with both of them."
[6.0] "There probably was a very good 12-minute match hidden somewhere in here, but unfortunately it went almost twice as long and 80% of it was slow and boring as shit. A match like this was the last thing this show (and even more so this crowd) needed, considering the previous one also went too long."
[6.0] "This match was good, but had too many issues for me to go much higher. The first half of the match was so slow, and the action was very "stop and go." The suplex spot was fun, but it took forever to get through and just killed any momentum. There really just wasn't much fire or energy to this match overall."
[7.0] "Being there in person, I feel like I need to rewatch this match to give it a more accurate score. It started off very slow, and after almost 5 hours of wrestling, that was the last thing the crowd needed. In real time I thought the match got a lot better in the second half, but the slow start really took me out of it for a bit. Stat's entrance was sick as fuck though and the finish was solid. (7/10)"
[8.0] "Yet another amazing match between these two. Everyone knows how amazing Mercedes is, but I think Kris had gone under the radar for quite a long time, so I'm so happy to see her plant her flag as one of the top three women in the company from an in ring standpoint. She constantly gives people their best matches, and she was the one that gave Mercedes the first match that really ramped up her TBS Title reign in my opinion, so I'm happy she finally got a win back. I will say this is probably the weakest of their trilogy, but I think that also just proves how good all their matches have been and the ability they both have."
[10.0] "I think was absolutely amazing just 2 women who had a very hard job to do because no weapons or blood was involved and they wrestled a beautiful physcology based masterclass. I'm not mercedes mone biggest fan but she is one of the best at the moment and kris is also good.reason for a 10 is due they had a hard task to do and they killed it even crowd was dead"
[8.0] "Mercedes and Stat still delivered a very good match, even if the crowd was completely cooked by this point, and putting on a pure wrestling match so late in a show that already featured two chaotic bloodbaths unfortunately hurt the atmosphere. They have fantastic chemistry, both performed brilliantly and deserved a better reaction. The audience fatigue aside, AEW continues to spoil us with quality matches, and I like the direction both characters are taking--Kris establishing himself as a star after beating Toni and Mone, and Mone continuing to collect belts, even if she fell short here."
[7.0] "A really well put together match which avoided the excesses implied by its length, but did have its wings clipped by a crowd that simply didn't share Tony Khan's enthusiasm for 6hr shows. Statlander was superb here, selling the arm throughout and incorporating the injury into her own offence. Unfortunately Stat's professionalism did expose Mone's limitations - she does moves and takes bumps, but clearly can't be bothered with the intangibles needed to bridge her ragdoll and robot modes ***1/2"
[8.0] "The match does start out slow and has bit of a quiet crowd but I think considering what they pulled off in that time and just how fatigued the crowd must've been, I think they did something great here. Mercedes Mone works the arms pretty well here and gives Kris Statlander no time to breathe. Statlander is able to a few hope spots early on with some incredible feats of strength like her Mark Henry-esque roll through and that Blue Thunder Bomb on the outside. Mercedes also delivers a 14 amigos suplex combination which was both fun and impressive for both women to pull off. The last two thirds of this match are great and eventually wakes up the crowd. These two have great chemistry together and they reminded the crowd of that. Statlander has to rely on her legs to get Mercedes up for the Staturday Night Fever but Mercedes keeps cutting her off and applying the Statement Maker. Statlander reverses that classic headscissors into the turnbuckle into a Staturday Night Fever that finally connects for the 3. I think both women looked great here with Statlander looking like a resilient fighting champion and having Mercedes again fall short of the world title makes her run as the belt collector all the more interesting"
[6.0] "I thought it was slow paced. The crowd were not in to it as much as some of the matches earlier in the evening. My wife and I had a full on conversation about something else during this match because it did not hold our interest too much. Satisfactory."
[7.0] "I felt like this match placed on card for calming the crowd. First minutes were really slow. But last minutes were exciting and I liked ending."
[5.0] "I'm tired of repeating the same thing. A prolonged match, with a poor structure. useless targeting from Mone, who looks bad on the one hand, on the other Chris can't sell anything, zero emotional investment in the match, Chris is really just a good athlete and nothing more, Mercedes is again indulging her sequences from a big match to a big match, overkill, big spots for the sake of big spots. I really feel like I'm in groundhog day every time I evaluate similar matches that try to seem big. They are no different except for the sets of techniques of the two performers."
[9.0] "Underrated chemistry. The crowd was so deadly that almost fucked up the entire match, they only woke up because those women looked GREAT in the second half of the match. The first half was a bit boring but I can't blame them, it is a world title match, it is necessary that methodical and slow build. Mercedes Mone, the one that can get any single title in the world, except the world title from the company she currently works for. Funny shit."
[8.0] "This was a great wrestling match with an unfortunately dead crowd. These two always have tremendous chemistry, and I thought they told a good story here with Mone's relentless attacking of Statlander's arm. I was surprised to see Stat retain, though I'm not complaining. ****"
[8.0] "The audience was too tired, so the atmosphere suffered a bit. It has to be said, though, that AEW really spoiled us with good matches. I like the direction both characters are taking. Kris beat Toni and Mone and is establishing himself as a star, while Mone is collecting belts but falls on this one again. We even saw the belt holders during his entrance."
[6.0] "Maybe at this post I was too tired but I feel like they couldn't get me invested in the match. It was nice, that's for sure and the Mercedes storyline just got more interesting. Apart from that, there really wasn't anything special for me in this."
[8.0] "The crowd was really tired by time this match started. Having Mercedes work on Stat's arm was a nice way of making people believe she might win, but the match as a whole felt a bit flat, and the end kinda came out of nowhere. This should have been places much earlier on the card. Also, I don't find Statlander's current babyface character very interesting, and based on the crowd reaction, I think most people feel the same."
[7.0] "A very well paced and enjoyable matchup which slightly struggled due to some disappointing crowd responses. I think while the AEW Women's World Title should be put high up the card, its placement here after two really bloody brawls and some big emotional moments meant it felt just a bit pedestrian. Statlander got the win via pinfall, and I did enjoy this quite a bit, I just might have enjoyed it more earlier on the card."
[10.0] "I thought this was in ring and story wise their best match but got brought down by a tired crowd and being one of 2 traditional wrestling matches on the card, Unlike their first 2 matches it was a constant back and forth from the opening bell, loved the story they told of mone trying her old tricks but Statlander being stronger than she was last year and overcoming them, also loved that midway through the match they kinda switched roles with Mercedes having the babyface count out spot, I think the holds done in this match by Mercedes looked great, overall besides a few spots this match was very smooth and well put together and loved the abrupt feel to the finish which also completely a story element they set up in the first 2 match, Statlander has taken everything Mercedes has to offer, but Mercedes hadn't been tested with the Staturday night fever and when it got hit that was it, great match solidified Kris Statlander as the Ace of the women's division. I will say the match being on at 12 am est with a crowd being tired and ready to go home did hurt the original watch but if you watch it in isolation from the rest of the show it's great stuff."
[5.0] "Compared to the last two matches, I believed that this match was not up to the standard that was shown before. The match felt more drawn out than the other bouts they have had in the past. Would have loved to also see the crowd be more involved in the match; really took the experience of the match down."
[8.0] "Felt like another AEW Women's Championship match, very high-level, tough, with good stakes. But once again it didn't quite hit the heights. Stat and Mone have great chemistry, mostly with Stat planting Mone in various ways."

The match felt like it needed a few more minutes, but I assume they did not want to break the longest women' record that their World's End match currently holds. This was a very good match, and I'm glad to see Mercedes losing because we're finally starting to get some character depth with Mercredes."

[9.0] "I agree with those who say it was too long, but the issues end there, because the rest gave us two great wrestlers in the ring. It might even have deserved the main event, but still it was a really good match that elevates Kris as a true champion after all, beating Toni and Moné is no small feat, and it's hard to do better than that. She's improving a lot and she needs this level of match to grow even more. And once again, Moné fails to take the most important title. We'll see what happens, but I think we're heading toward a rematch at World's End."

[10.0] "Mercedes Mone is the best female wrestler on the planet in terms of ring performance. Their match was the best at last year's Full Gear. It's also the top match on this show. I'm not very familiar with Statlander, and I don't really like her, but Mercedes did an excellent job of portraying her as a character you want to root against. And that's great work. Mercedes Mone demonstrated extraordinary composure and precision while executing the flawless 14 amigos on the ring. 5 stars!"
[7.0] "The limb-targeting from Mercedes was a great change-of-pace, and both women worked excellently to tell and sell the in-ring story of the match. For me this lacked the intensity I'd anticipated, and it was a shame to see Moné put away with relative ease, but it's hard to fault the performance of either competitor independently. Definitely the right result with the interest of building Stat and the long-term story-telling in mind. I cannot comprehend the fact that some ratings have gone 3-points each way either side of this."
[10.0] "Mercedes has been such a great Wrestler and legit one of the very few in AEW who doesn't have to use props or bleed to have a great match. Her movements in the ring are so crisp and she's very innovative. Kris Statlander gets better with every match and this match definitely surpassed their FG 2024 match. 5 stars from me!"

The chemistry between the two was fantastic, and they managed the pace well, though they lacked more moments. The sequences were very good, though they could have done more and better. The intensity was good, and the ending was decent, although, like their previous matches, it felt a bit simplistic for the level of the encounter. In this case, it seemed to come out of nowhere and was even weaker, as it didn't feel like the right moment to end the match; they hadn't actually done everything they were capable of"

Mone's desperation in that match is extremely potent as you can see her trying to do whatever it takes to put down a self-possessed Statlander; a complete contrast of Mercedes Mone in this match. The only thing dragging this match down from a perfect score was due to the very silent crowd, but that was the fault of where this match was placed on the card, and not the women."
[7.0] "Having loved their Full Gear 2024 clash, I was eagerly anticipating this match. However, I was a little disappointed by the somewhat choppy pace of the encounter. The moves were well executed, but I felt like both women were taking their time. The card placement might not have helped, but I also think the fighting style wasn't my favorite. In-ring quality: 1.5/4. Stakes: 2/2. Justification: 1/1. Card placement: 1/1. Suspense: 1/1. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 7.5/10. Match watched on Triller TV."
[6.0] "I liked Mercedes attacking Kris' arm, which she sold really well, until she didn't. Unable to pick up Mercedes part way in, to full on being able to hit her with Night Fever to end it. I also thought that having the ref try and protect Kris towards the start made her look a little weak, like she can't stick up for herself."
"I was in the crowd for this match and while by all means it was a great match, it just came so late in the night and after 2 pretty big emotional highs with Briscoe and the elite we were just kinda out of it. If this match came earlier in the card I guarantee you we would've been louder."
[6.0] "A good match for sure, but it was kinda slow, if the pace was better I would estimate this higher, and that's not necessarily because it was slow, I love slow matches, honestly several moments of this were just boring, the match should've been shorter. The ending was cool, with Kris doing the Statement Maker, and there were a lot of roll-ups and transitions on the ground, very unpredictable, Kris used the same move that she used to defeat Toni, and eventually won the match, after Mercedes's frustration got the best out of her. Interesting what they did here, but with better choices could've been even better. I wasn't a huge fan of the fourteen '3 amigos' in a row, as there's a reason the move is called THREE - {**3/4}"
[6.0] "Statlander continues to be somewhat uninteresting as a powerhouse face, mostly because she doesn't embrace her superior frame against almost any competitor. Maybe it's just that I want her to be something that she isn't, but she definitely has the tools to do so and I would find her matches that much more compelling that way. Here her decision to be sparce with her displays of power feels like an structural flaw. The arm injury doesn't feel nearly as impactful because before it happened Kris didn't do a single power move. Therefore, when she executes the lifting and successful power moves there is no point of reference. We where robbed of a possible comparison to make the progression more layered. Moné's work on the arm is good to great. The 14 suplexes spot was a great cocky spot to lead to a Statlander comeback, but the crowd loved it so much it got Mercedes a positive response. The rolling on the mat way Stat gets to her piledriver was maybe the best bit of selling and adaptation she pulled off the entire match. The count out callback was a good idea in paper to make the roles reversed from her last match (now Stat is the champ and Moné the challenger), but it came off as so premeditated that it looked goofy"
[10.0] "I could dock points for the crowd not being engaged enough but in all honesty, I dont want to. I think this match was beautifully wrestled. They told an amazing story with callbacks to their Worlds end match. The issue wasnt really the match not being engaging enough, the issue was the long and draining duration of the ppv up to this point. I'm really happy aew has chosen to make Kris the top star. Maybe look wise, she isnt the most interesting character in the division but shes such a phenomenal wrestler and has been in incredible form all year really. Mercedes finally has a story to play with regarding the idea that shes going to smaller promotions to steal belts as a coping mechanism for not being able to win the big one. Thats depth and that is what weve been asking for since she arrived in AEW. Really top notch shit."
[8.0] "A match that suffered because of AEW's insanely long ppvs. Mostly because the crowd were completely cooked by this point and putting on a pure wrestling match so late on in a show that all ready had included two chaotic bloodbaths probably hurt these woman unfortunately but they still went out and had a great match even if the crowd were as silent as a Viscera vs Midieon match. Mercedes and Stat have great chemistry. This is probably their weakest match but both put in fantastic performances that deserved a better crowd. I think outside of Bayley, Stat might be Mercedes best opponent."
[10.0] "This match was great but sadly suffered from the fact it was taking place almost at midnight, these PPV events are incredibly long & match placement didn't do this any favor after they had just seen two hardcore matches & we're expecting another in the main event, Going from that to a pure wrestling match is tough but none the less Mercedes & Kris did an excellent job storytelling in the match"
