Leon Slater vs. Rich Swann

[8.0] "Really fun match and tied with Rascalz/System for match of the night. Really enjoyed the story around the eye and a few great sequences and false finishes. Just wish the crowd leant into it more."

[6.0] "Unfortunately this lacks heat for the most part but the guys work hard and have some really good wrestling throughout this match. Leon is one of the absolute best young wrestlers, always a joy to watch him, and Swann is moving really well in there. The chemistry is a little off at times but the work looks really nice and they do a good job of working the eye injury back into the frame of the match. I find myself typically checking out whatever Leon does with the X-Division title on these TNA PPVs, and he's always impressive."

[7.0] "Nice match, where Slater falls to the outside and sells that he hurt his eye on the steel steps. It looked a bit goofy, but I appreciate the effort (and he sold this throughout the match - and even afterwards). I liked Swann countering the Styles Clash at one point."

[7.0] "Leon Slater always impresses, and pairing him with Swann made for a great high-flying contest. Tremendous athleticism and great chemistry in a back-and-forth contest; you can pair Leon with just about anyone at this point, which is a staggering thing to be able to say at his age. The tag-match with Je'Von on Tuesday is going to be special, regardless of the result."

[8.0] "Leon and Swann clicked and the match flowed so well it barely felt like time passed. Leon with a sharp final stretch that made the whole thing pop. Swann having an answer for everything helped keep the pace tight and made Leon's counters feel earned. Strong defense."

[8.0] "I wish the crowd would have gotten into it more, but it was still a barburner. Swann really delivered in a spot TNA obviously hasn't put him in within the last year or so."

[7.0] "Leon Slater vs. Rich Swann was a really great X division championship match. Slater as well as Swann should be in bigger matches and stories in 2026."

[7.0] "Good title defense for Leon Slater against Rich Swann. This was Rich's first singles match in TNA in over a year as he has been doing well on the independent scene over the last year+. Good showings from both wrestlers. This had the issue of other title matches on this show where I did not expect a title change in any of them but this was a good match between the two with Leon gaining a good win over someone with Rich's experience."

[8.0] "I thought that it was a good match. I'm always glad to see Swann in main event caliber matches, certainly a talented performer. Slater with another great defense."

[8.0] "Leon Slater is on an incredible run and Rich Swann worked as a solid dance partner for him here. Not as amazing as some of his recent title appearances, but still lots of fun. If TNA is smart they keep protecting Slater and keep this run going"
