[6.0] "This was fun at times but these recent Last Man Standing matches just don't have that sense of danger or aggression any more. Another hardcore stipulation match for Ricky Saints that just boils down to hardcore plunder. Also another match in NXT where someone gets busted open but production wants nothing to do with. I'm begging you to tell the story that this stipulation needs but they won't take the restrictions off. I thought maybe with the inclusion of a chain we might get a reference to a famous Death Match that Saints once took part in as that would be a great way to sell brutality without getting gory but no the finish is the result of Saints pushing the brands top heel over at the last second. The match is fine, it's a breeze with lots of fun spots but I just can't invest in the intended emotion"

He has some of the best intensity in the business right now, especially when he's able to be in a high-profile feud like this one versus Trick Williams. Additionally, Trick Williams is legitimately a beast when he ups his intensity like in this match. I feel like the work he's been doing after the relatively disappointing Halloween Havoc match has been some of the best stuff in his entire career. I mean, he breaks two kendo sticks in this match. That's pretty intense."

There were some good moments in the match, like the spear through the barricade, which reminded me of Breaker's years ago, or the one through the announce table. The end was rushed because Williams got up, Saints pushed him to the ground, but they still counted. We saw Oba Femi come back, who seemed to be the challenger, but we didn't even see him."

The actual Last Man Standing drama wasn't great but the spear through the announce table was pretty sick, and both guys take some serious beatings."

I don't know if this is his last performance in NXT, and now he's a Main Roster Bound, but this was a very fun match the stiputlation added to this match as there previous match wasn't that good but this one surpasses it. After the match as the show was about to go off the air we saw the return of Oba Femi as he targets Ricky Saints for his WWE NXT Title."

"Ricky vs Trick was a fun little plunder match & much better than their last match. That spear outta no where by Ricky was so smooth really good match"

[7.0] "Well that was brilliant; some absolutely massive spots and Saints looked like the star he can be for the first time in a while... but they really ran out of time? The finish to the match simply wasn't a finish; Trick was clearly up AND pushed down by Saints. As we know, and were told during the match, that's sufficient to break the count. I thought this was simply a botch at first, but the incredibly rushed return and cut to black that came after makes me think they called the finish earlier than intended here. This would've been an 8, arguably an 8.5 or 9, if the rules hadn't been completely thrown out the window at the end; I could drop the rating far further as a consequence, but the match was good enough that I'm being a little more forgiving."

[7.0] "This was a very solid Last Man Standing. Wish this was the match we got at Halloween Havoc. I kinda hope this was Tricks last match in NXT cause at this point, he should just go up to the main roster. These guys did everything in their power to destroy and beat each other. The ending was Ricky spearing Trick off the stage through the announcers table was the highlight of the match"

Sometimes it was brutal and we can't see blood oftenly in WWE, but there was awesome. They just delivered what I want from that big stars of NXT like Williams and Saints. So much better than was on Halloween Havoc."

To be fair this one didn't really excel in the drama stakes but there was some fun enjoyable spots and it was fairly watchable. Nice to see the Febman back in the post-match too."

[7.0] "Good last man standing match for the NXT title. This was a lot better than their previous encounter at Halloween Havoc. Trick beat the hell out of Saints for most of the match, but Saints kept getting up and coming back for more. Good usage of the stipulation with lots of weapon shots, brawling on the outside and big spots. This was a lot of fun. That is until we get to the weak finish. Both men are down trying to beat the count, they both clearly get up on their feet but Saints pushes over Trick at the last second as the ref counts to 10 and that's it. Saints retains. Even the crowd which had been hot the entire match went quiet for that. Surely they could have found another way to end it more definitively than that. The finish unfortunately took this down a little. 7.5/10"

[9.0] "This was awesome. Much much better than their match at Halloween Havoc. This was urgent, spirited, physical, and brutal. They didn't hold back on one another. You felt the as you witnessed what both men were trying to do to one another in order to win the match. Ricky barely survives getting by Trick and a returning Oba confronts him post match in one of the more aura moments I've seen in wrestling this year. Just a job well done all around from everyone involved. ****1/4"

Given that Trick came up short again, I think it's time for him to move up to the main roster. He has been in NXT since September of 2021! It's not ridiculous to say that NXT is must see TV."
