[7.0] "I loved heel Roberts from Georgia, but a few years later, as a babyface in Mid-South, he was still excellent in terms of psychology. He moved incredibly well for his size, his timing was perfect, and he knew how to structure a strong match. Humongous does some basic big-man offense here, but at least his look made him stand out, so the fans were invested in seeing Jake beat him. Jake showed nice fire, had great hope spots, and the DDT got a big pop."
[5.0] "Agreed that this was very slow paced and the moves used by both wrestlers were extremely basic, headlocks, slams, punches etc. what prevents this match from being a complete flop though is the simplicity of the psychology employed throughout. Robert's spends most of the match getting beat down by the heel, building the sympathy slowly only to charge a come back, raising hope and audience fervour and finally for the hope spot to be dashed by the heel manager interference and his subsequent loss. Basic, simple stuff but quite effective."
