Aleister Black vs. Cody Rhodes

[6.0] "Really, really good match spoiled by a nothing-burger of an ending. I know the No Contest was inevitable, but it made this match feel incredibly low-stakes despite how good it was in-ring."

[5.0] "Decent exhibition that showed off aleister pretty well, the ending sucked though. Restocking Preist and Black's feud, as well as Cody and Drew while then suspending drew. Hogwash ending but hey the nine minutes of pretty good graps was fun just didn't have any real spots outside a few nasty knees, even then black went pretty soft this match."

[5.0] "Actually, I'm enjoyed of this match. Good speed, intresting combinations and something more intresting. If they got more time, it would be a real banger."

[5.0] "Meh this was very average and short with a rubbish and tiresome ending which is a real shame. Could have been so much more"

[5.0] "Boring match from a shitty show and a meh finish. I really think that smackdown in 2025 besides few episodes is a bad show and Cody Rhodes second reign is Just MEH"

[8.0] "One of the best Aleister's matches since his return imo and one of the best Cody's matches I've seen this year. The in-ring action and chemistry between them were amazing. It's a pity that there was a DQ ending, I'd like to see the clear one. I hope Black will finally destroy this annoying Priest and have the rematch against Cody."

[5.0] "Black vs Cody: basic back and forth, ad break. Back from break. Nothing happens, Cody cutter. Drew McIntyre attacks the Referee with a claymore. Black and McIntyre attack Cody. Priest comes out for save. Aldis comes out and suspends McIntyre. This was awful from a booking perspective. Somehow worse than the Black/cody fiasco on the 'other' show. The match itself was a bland affair. 5/10"

[6.0] "A fine match, abit slow, you could tell that they held back a bit, but they still told a fine story and did a fine job. The first interfence was good and came a bit out of no where. The second one was easier to foresee, but made sense so it was fine."

[7.0] "This match honestly was picking up and i was really enjoying this match up until the dq. I wish matches like this had a clean winner but i digress. Hope to see these two lock up again this was really fun to watch."

[6.0] "Cody/Black was below my expectations, but it's still good. I imagine the next matches between the two will be better. The finish is bizarre. With McIntyre's suspension and the continuation of the Black/Priest feud, we're not sure who Cody's opponent will be."

[6.0] "This match I was quite excited about because of the AEW Match theory had, and the match started fast-paced with a lot of offense by both men and countering. Aleister Black is in the best shape of his life because he looked really good in this match and actually was keeping up, and Cody Rhodes was trying everything to take down Aleister Black as Zelina was ringside trying to root her husband on. But Drew McIntyre came out of the blue and Claymore'd the Referee and attacked Cody Rhodes, but Damian Priest came out to help Cody Rhodes and fought off both men. General Manager of SmackDown, Nick Aldis, after what transpired, suspended Drew McIntyre as the show went off the air. This match had promise, but ended in a No Contest. Hopefully, they revisit this in the future."
