[3.0] "I hate this match so much, makes it even worse when Kross beats Keith with ease. This dude does not have it in the ring, not even current day does he have it that well and done. Squashing a guy who has put on excellent matches for years in your company with slow and boring offense just annoys me so much"
[5.0] "This was a simple squash match, but a fun one. Kross looked like a beast here with him throwing Ciampa around, which was fun to watch, and Ciampas comeback was awesome. **3/4"
[5.0] "This match had a specific goal: to show Karrion Kross as a real threat to NXT, and it was successful. Kross dominated 3/4 of the match, and ended up sending Tommaso Ciampa over the edge to secure a big win. Simple and effective. [**1/2]"
[3.0] "A dominant showing from Kross. I expected him to win, but I thought it would be a bit longer than that. Ciampa is one of the most successful NXT wrestlers, so it? s a big deal for Kross to run through him as quickly as he did."
[4.0] "A squash match that I was not a fan of. Ciampa was only able to get in the willows bell as offense while Kross made him pass out in his submission hold. very surprising outcome. I think Kross is being over-pushed and will hurt him long term in his career. This also does not make any logical sense , someone who suffered 45 minutes of pain and torture against Gargano in those fierce 3 matches can lose to Kross in 6 minutes. **1/4 . Ciampa probably alongside Gargano has no meaning being in NXT at this moment."
[4.0] "A generic squash match. Ciampa got bodied, but at least it's something to give his stale character direction. Kross on the other hand, needs re-tooling and needs it badly. His offense is mismatched to his character (it's more on the Jeff Cobb end of the spectrum rather than the Lesnar side), his entrance seems ripped straight out of a Eastern European country's Eurovision entry that only scores 13 points, his look is very young lion rather than sadistic evil mastermind. This guy is absolutely nothing, yet you can feel HHH's infatuation with him coming through the screen. If he becomes a focal point of NXT going forwards, we have some bad shows ahead. 2 stars, and that's generous."
[3.0] "We can say that it was a long squash from Karrion Cross. Ciampa was able to make several shots, but this is not expected from a match where the former NXT champion loses so without a chance to an opponent."
[3.0] "Worst match of the evening. In fact, it was a stretched squash. Ciampa tried to fight back, but it failed. Kross is a very mediocre wrestler, which for whatever reason will receive a monster-push from the start. He clearly did not deserve such an easy victory over the recent champion of the brand. Rating: ** (2. 0)"
[9.0] "I will rate this as a squash match, since that is what it was. This was very different, in the sense that it was promoted as a high profile match between one of the biggest names in nxt history and a dominant newcomer that had been built up as a real threat leading into this. The fact that Kris? s just ran through Ciamp as if it were a walk in the park really added to his legitimacy. It seems as if management is behind him all the way."
[5.0] "This was almost like a squash but I'm okay with it. Kross has a great look, the lip syncing is cringe but there's been much worse in WWE. This match only needed the 6 minutes it got and that in itself makes it stand out as AEW and NXT are guilty of having TV matches go way too long. 2. 5*"
[8.0] "This was by far my favorite match of the night & the only one that truly felt like worth watching. 6 minutes of badass action with two mean motherfuckers going at it -- Kross' dominant work with him throwing Ciampa around with ease was a joy to watch, and Ciampa's big comeback run was epic in all of its urgency & explosiveness."
