[8.0] "Very good tag here. There is way too much obvious spot set-ups sprinkled throughout this though for me to have loved it. These Love & Peace boys man, you can tell that they've got a lot of passion and instinict in this business. They do a lot here to make themselves look hungry for the win, without going over the top. Yuki is so good, and I love how he counteracts with Kamei & Riiita. Kamei stood out to me as the better of the two; he had great instincts on dives. Him holding the opponents to set up Riiita going for the outside dive was so good. I do think there's too much in this match that does feel cooperative. Ofcourse it's at a breakneck speed, despite this some wrestlers just stand around, waiting for that next move. It drags it down. I do wish L&P sold more. Would've made that closing stretch all the more intense and interesting. [***.75]"
[7.0] "Super strong finish with this one. Everyone was firing on all in cylinders in this but ultimately I don't think this stands out a whole lot to me. Dragon Gate puts out tag team matches of this quality and pace at least once a month with a series of interchangeable tag teams and I worry it's growing stale for me personally. Still the athleticism is incredible and Yuki Yoshioka specifically gets some pretty stiff work in but it all seems like business as usual for these two teams. I guess that a pretty high back handed compliment"
[10.0] "Crazy paced Dragon Gate action, always a treat to check out this promotion when I get a chance. I barely know these guys but they all impressed right out of the gate, they flew through a 20 minute battle and pulled off some of the sickest combos you could hope to see. Extremely fun match."
[9.0] "Great DG tag team match. I thought that the beginning was methodical but when the spotfest started it was rentless. It could have been longer though. ****1/2"
[8.0] "This was a really well put together tag match with measured shifts in control that gave everyone the chance to shine and to show their resilience. The closing moments had that rocket fuelled urgency you'd expect from DG, but they didn't overdo the potential finishers and when the heaviest artillery landed, it was over ***3/4"
[9.0] "WOW! What a match! Definitely Top 3 Dragongate match of the year if not MOTY. These two teams put everything on the line and preformed at the highest level for 19 minutes. Everyone move hit and felt important and dangerous. Riiita was the star this time, as he got the finish and he took the most punish throughout the match, however Yuki and Jacky also had some major parts to play in the match and the finish. Dragon Dia was no slouch but he did take the fall and the direction for him following the match seems to be a slow period, were as Yuki seems positioned for a Dream Gate win. The best moves of the match included the frankensteiner by Jacky and the finishing stretch between Dia and Riiita. AMAZING MATCH!"
[6.0] "Fun action-packed tag match that doesn't go any further than that for me personally. The pace is often frenetic and there is some pretty cool sequences and tandem offense, but there's basically no structure to it at all. I don't mind lucha rules tags but in this case it was hard to get invested in the drama of the match despite there being some white hot near falls towards the end. I thought the exchanges between Dia and Jacky were the best part of this match, and there's nothing bad as far as the work goes but nothing really clicks for me. I liked this more than I disliked it, but this style isn't something I'm a big fan of right now."
[9.0] "The main event is incredibly intense, featuring tag team wrestling. A real spotfest, the whole match is super intense, no time to catch your breath."
[8.0] "I'm genuinely not sure that I've ever seen ten consecutive minutes of high-tempo wrestling like this. You could put the second half of this on 0.5x speed, and it would still be satisfactory tag-team wrestling. In terms of how impressive the athletic ability was, it's up there with the best matches this year. However, for me personally, this needed another ten minutes of seeing the damage start to set-in; despite the calibre of moves, the consistent tempo meant that nobody was really given an opportunity to meaningfully sell the toll of the contest."
[10.0] "What an incredible tag team match. Jackyriiita were not happy seeing Dia & Yoshioka come back from an NJPW Super Jr Tag League run and it makes sense considering Jackyriiita's the best tag team in the world right now. And my god it showed here. Jacky Kamei is the most underrated wrestler in the world and he is the best wrestler DG developed post-2018. Riiita is the scrappy underdog who is very likeable. The two together in the ring create magic and this one is no exception. And finally after months of failed attempts, Jackyriiita finally bring home gold to Love&Peace in front of a very hot crowd and an incredible reaction. Once again do not sleep on Jacky Kamei and Riiita!"
[8.0] "Outstanding performance from Kamei, even compared to his usual high standard. Beyond the dazzling moves and the exciting counters, Jacky showed a scrappiness that really elevated the match. Constantly looking to ambush his opponents and fight out of double teams. Loved the part where he fails to land the torbellino on Yoshioka but immediately goes for the jack knife pin to keep the momentum on his side."
"What an absolute classic these guys produced! It was non stop action and my god how great was the action. Jacky and Riiita were wrestling like the rent was due, as Dia and Yuki also had memorable showings. The final sequences with the nearfalls were a thing of beauty, and the crowd being very electric just made the whole thing a lot better and created an environment where anything could happen at any time. I highly recommend watching this fight."
[10.0] "An absolutely fantastic, all-energy tag match with extremely high level work. Very impressive performances all around in a match with a hot crowd. This is one of the very best matches of the year and a must see."
[9.0] "One way to get audience's attention is to subvert their expectations early by switching things up both structure and pace-wise, like this match did - Kamei and Riiita took way too much time before throwing back their opponents back into the ring, which served as a way to slow everything down after first big highspot. Back-and-forth that followed up had different twists and turns while preserving anticipation about what's gonna happen next pretty much every step of the way, few particular counters and the way they happened came literally out of nowhere. Some fans may see it as a negative because there was a very short (in a traditional sense) finishing stretch and feel like 'at one point the match just ended', personally I thought a long stretch without any close near-falls was the build in itself, it made every near-fall in the last few minutes feel close. I appreciate that this match tried something different even if the crowd got really hooked only in the last few minutres, because a lot of pro-wrestling matches, intentionally or not, these days formulaic in ways that is detrimental even if quality of work and in-ring action is really good. ****+"
[9.0] "At long last JackyRiiita finally gets some gold, and does so in one of both the best DG, and best tag team, matches of the year for me. This was a sensational classically structured Twin Gate title match, with a slow start with the underdogs getting worked over, leading to a hot comeback and an absolutely explosive finishing stretch. Yuki Yoshioka did some fantastic work on top here, and in this match look the best he has since his return from injury earlier this year, with Kamei doing a fantastic job as the FIP selling and getting the crowd primed for his comeback. The comeback stretch of the match was awesome, the crowd was hot for it, there was tons of fire and it flowed so naturally into the closing stretch which was some of the best wrestling I have seen all year. Jacky Kamei is simply one of the best big match wrestlers in the world, the list of people better than him is increasingly short. Yoshika was damn near as good as Jacky in this match too, with an outstanding performance himself. And let's not forget about both Riiita & Dragon Dia who were excellent as well. Just a great match well worth checking out, 4.25*-4.5*"
