[8.0] "Honestly, easily the highlight of a patchy show. All three men are so entertaining, and it felt like they each got their moments to shine and their strong points highlighted: the brute force of Rusev, the speed and tenacity of Penta, the adaptability and cunning wiliness of Dominic. The only thing I'm really conflicted about is the ending. I popped a little for it because it was quite genius to distract Rusev with the bell to make him think he'd tapped Penta somehow. It makes total sense for the narrative of Dom as the champ who lives up to Eddie's reputation for doing whatever it takes to win a match and outsmarting his opponents when he can't outspeed or outpower them. But I honestly thought this match was the perfect chance for him to drop the belt because (a) he doesn't need it atp (b) I feel like Penta really needs an important singles win already and a belt to keep hot."
[8.0] "Exactly what the card needed, the injection into the veins to get the crowd pumped and ready for a main event. The mid card has been really polar over this last year so seeing Rusev, Penta, and Dom go tear the house down was perfect. Each man came out looking incredible, and Dom continues to find ways to bring the traditional Guerrero heel to a new generation while being one of the best champs going. Penta was great throughout, although I wish he was booked to be more present throughout this match up. Rusev made children scream, and everyone loved it. Match of the night."
[7.0] "Properly good in-ring with a meh finish but that's the name of the game with this PLE. Also thoroughly enjoyed Rusev scaring the shit out of that kid."
[5.0] "Inoffensive, but slightly underwhelmed by the finish. As an inconsistent consumer of WWE's product, I can't help feel that Dom is being spread very thin with the AAA & Intercontinental Championship responsibilities. There isn't a lot of meat to the IC title picture at the moment, & I feel he could drop the belt without losing his momentum; I had hoped that the triple-threat stipulation would have been a good vehicle for this transition. The longer PENTA goes without an establishing victory, the less I'm convinced by him as a singles competitor (in terms of presentation, rather than ability: one of my favourite wrestlers of all-time)."
[4.0] "Fun and harmless, even if not that interesting. Dom is in a difficult place as a heel (he is getting cheered for cheating and he is not able or willing to adapt the pace and presentation to be the but of the joke all the time), but Rusev was the steady heel presence that people needed, with both Penta and specially Dom acting as faces for the crowd. Nothing that engaging other than Dom being dumb, more movement than substance."
[7.0] "Solid! I loved Dominik's creative ways of trying to "cheat" in a no DQ match, it gave me a good chuckle. I would've liked to see another winner, though, as I think Dom needs to focus on the AAA championship and really getting it on the map."
[4.0] "My god this is hilarious. Penta and Rusev went somewhere else to do exactly what they were doing before. It's even funnier with Rusev because of all the alleged reports of him having shit fits about losing. Now he's lost to Dominick fucking Mysterio, of all people, more than once XD"
[5.0] "This is the match that made me watch this show, in my stupid hope that Penta would finally take the IC title for a match against John Cena. Probably a good match for TV and for PG ratings. There were some funny childish moments, like Rusev playing the heel. I noticed that Penta gets a good reaction from the crowd, maybe WWE management realizes this and Penta might get something next year. There were probably even some funny moments when Dominik gave Rusev a chair in a Triple Threat match. Rusev was strong and good. He's really progressed as a powerhouse; the problem is, he gets zero reaction from the crowd (and his music theme is bad). But this is TikTok wrestling. It still pisses me off how WWE treats wrestlers with a huge amount of experience in long matches, like Penta or in matches with strong wrestlers like Rusev -- they just get phased out. It's like it all gets forgotten. And they make the wrestlers look like idiots. I understand it's a different company, not AEW, Lucha Underground, or Impact. But wrestlers are clearly more experienced than Dominik in different types of matches. They've done serious, long matches. But here, they fall for cheap tricks from Dominik. They buy into the shoddiest bait, and because of that, they lose. It's as if their brains and the strength they've built up in other companies just turn off. The match isn't full of bad, but to me, it's a bait-and-switch under the pretty wrapper of a TV match."
[7.0] "A good match and finding a way for Dom to "cheat" in a no DQ match was incredibly creative and well done. That being said I definitely think Dom should be parting ways with the IC belt soon as he has outgrown it and other guys definitely need it more than he does at this point as it's done it's job of elevating him to the upper midcard spot with a view of becoming a main eventer within the next 2 or 3 years."
[7.0] "That's my favourite match of this show. Activity was pretty good, Penta with Rusev doing intresting things, but whole match stole Dominik, when he firstly tried to win by DQ what was so fun, but his next move was very genious. Another his title defence and for now his reign feels like good one."
[6.0] "It was fine. Dominik was over as hell, so the dynamic was already thrown off from the start, but at least all three guys seemed to understand that and just went for a solid three-way that showcased everyone's strengths. A funny little spot with Mysterio tossing a chair at Rusev was the highlight for me."
[6.0] "Best match on the show but nothing mind blowing. But the way Penta is being used in WWE is at this point kind of sad. Early this year he was hanging around main eventers and looked like he belonged. But now he is back in the mid card and looking like he will remain in midcard purgatory for a long time to come. I still don't find Dom's Eddie cosplay act all that interesting. I think its because Dom is such a thoroughly mediocre wrestler while Eddie is one of the greatest. While Rusev is where you expect him to be at this point a mid carder for life. Considering he refused to lose once upon a time he is on his way to being a jobber."
[7.0] "Im voting this match as above satisfactory due to the creative finish. We may never know whose idea it was for Dom to ring the bell but I love him taking after his 'pops' and keeping with the lie cheat and stealing gimmick but not only using the same tactics Eddie once did but innovating new methods and ringing the bell is something I do believe is original on his behalf I dont recall Eddie ever doing this. The crowd and even I were fooled so it seemed and panning over to Doms sly smirk was fantastic. I do believe these two have a lack of chemistry that made it a bit awkard during certain moments of the match or I guess a better word would be clunky and I tend to like my wrestling a little more smooth. Yes it is a fight, yes not all fights are smooth and clean, but the awkward clunky bits took a bit of the excitement away in this one for me. Despite this I enjoy all three wrestles and thought it was a fun match but I think my overall biggest gripe is I truly wish they had a bit more time to work with only because they gave such a decent showing with the time given. Right guy won it in my opinion but Penta should've had a title now and should get one soon."
[9.0] "This match was by far the best on the card penta and rusev did all the heavy lifting wrestling wise since dom only had two offensive moves. Also their Chemistry between the spots were just really good and the comedy of dom trying to cheat with the chair but rusev hitting him with it and the best part when dom rung the bell so rusev lets go of the accolade was really smart and clever. I give this a 9/10."
[4.0] "Kinda fun match in itself. It was hurt by two things. One was Michael Cole or whoever told him to act like a complete oblivious moron. At one point Dominique Mysterio rings the bel to distract Rusev and preventing Penta from tapping out. Well done. Rusev played his part well. The referee did okay but it took him a bit long to react since he looked multiple times before realising it was Mysterio and not the time keeper. But freaking Michael Cole kept acting like Rusev won the match and he had not a single clue Mysterio, who was right next to him, was the one ringing the bell. When did he find out? When the camera finally filmed it. Really Cole? You never look to your left? It took him like a minute, maybe two. And then he says "Oh, give me a break, that's not {insert time keeper name}". Really Cole? How perceptive of you to recognise that the guy with the mullet, the mustache and the freaking wrestling attire is not the regular time keeper! I never knew a match could be completely ruined by an announcer but Cole succeeded. Then the finish had Rusev being hit with a hammer and frogsplashed by Mysterio. Again, fine finish... except Rusev, who was just hit in the head by a hammer had to roll towards the turnbuckle that Mysterio was jumping off! Why can't Dominique use the turnbuckle that was closer? Because that wasn't what they did in rehearsals off course. I've praised Mysterio recently but apparently he still has no instincts."
[6.0] "All over the place.... nothing really standing out throughout the match. Of course, its not bad. Above average. Don't know why I expected a title change..."
[5.0] "Three way: everything that was interesting from a ring work perspective was delivered by Penta, and yet he is being used so poorly. That man should have won the IC and been on a proper run. Alas, jobbing. Dom did some entertaining stuff here and if you take this match for what it is, a comedy filler match, this is easier to enjoy. But, it was not the best again I'm afraid. I also accept that this is 100% a 'me' problem. I 5/10"
[6.0] "This was a fun little triple threat title match. The match I had high expectations for, but I think when Dominik Mysterio rang the bell and made Rusev think he won the match, made me deduct some points from the match itself, but Penta and Rusev, I think, should shift away to something else. I expect Dominik Mysterio to go against John Cena this month, as that has been the rumor for a while now. I thought Dominik Mysterio had a solid showing as well in this match, but now that he's done with Penta and Rusev, I wonder how they're going to do the John Cena feud and how it comes about in a few weeks when John Cena returns to RAW in Boston."
[4.0] "Rusev continuing to lose in mid card matches is definitely his penance for whining and moaning about losing. I don't know what to say about Penta. I hate to say it but he's exactly where I expected him to be after signing with WWE. I had hoped he'd at least get a 6 month booking for spite but he didn't even get that. They're both desperately working to make Dom look like he's not moving in quicksand."
[5.0] "The stuff with the ring bell is interesting, but the rest of the match wasn't anything to write home about. Rusev is probably better off wrestling someone like sheamus and penta is more exciting when he gets to be a luchador. I don't find Dominic's matches particularly exciting but this worked as a piece of business to get him over as a crowd-favorite heel."
[4.0] "Dom Mysterio doesn't do it for me. Find him unpleasant and don't care much for his wrestling. Penta already feels cooler than he should, and Rusev has been wasted since coming back. Felt a little too generic and predictable for my tastes. The ringing the bell spot was good, Penta accidentally hitting Rusev with the hammer was terrible. This Dom reign has done nothing for me and I hope this was the last successful defence."
[7.0] "A lively triple threat match packed with constant action and inventive nearfalls. Rusev dominated early with power moves, while Penta brought the athletic flair and Dominik Mysterio played the opportunistic heel perfectly. The no-DQ stipulation allowed for plenty of chaos; chair shots, barricade brawling, and clever use of the bell hammer. The finish was pure Dom, using the hammer distraction to steal another crafty win with a Frog Splash. Solid storytelling and fun pacing, though Rusev desperately needs a meaningful victory soon, and it's probably time to move Penta into a new direction. ***1/4"
[7.0] "Der 3-Way hat mir gut gefallen. Schönes hin und her, bei dem jeder jederzeit hätte gewinnen können. Mir gefiel vor allem der Twist mit Dom der die Ringglocke läutet."
[7.0] "A solid triple threat with a few minor narrative twists that allow Mysterio to escape with his title once again. However, the better and more mature action comes from his two opponents today, especially Penta, who really impressed me with his performance. Overall, the match is quite fun and not boring."
[6.0] "Pretty good match for the IC title. It goes how you would expect as Penta and Rusev do most of the work with Dom being the opportunistic heel. Clever false finish with Rusev thinking he made Penta tap out but it was Dom ringing the bell. Dom uses the hammer to knock Rusev out then hits a frog splash to retain. It wasn't anything different from what you would see on an episode of Raw, still enjoyable. 6.5/10"
[6.0] "Probably the best match on the card for my money. Penta hit the crowd pleasing moves, Rusev was a monster and Dominic continued to be a really good heel who created a clever false-finish into the actual finish. It was a smartly booked match."
[6.0] "Decent title match. It did its job in furthering Dominik's character's reliance on cheating to win, and the crowd was pretty into the whole affair. I do think the match lost a bit of momentum after Dom rung the bell to distract Rusev, but it was nothing too noticeable. Overall, a decent match with some nice spots like Penta using Rusev to hit the Mexican Destroyer on Dom. ***"
[7.0] "Rusev looks like a world beater here while Penta and Dom do their thing, which is fine. I love Rusev and Penta battling to decide who will kick Dom's ass, the action is solid, there's quite a few silly moments and Dom getting it done by cheating again is kinda meh, but as a whole, it's enjoyable. ***1/2"
[7.0] "Oh this was surprisingly good fun. Three wrestlers with noticeably different styles working together well. Initially I was worried there would only ever be 2 in the ring at any one time which is kinda how things started but action got good and Dom's cheating ways won him the match again. Dom has really grown and is such good fun to watch!"
[8.0] "No, okay really good match. I liked it a lot. All three did great, and even though it was a really unusual matchup, it worked very well. All three are great wrestlers anyway. Dirty Dom channeling Eddie is absolutely awesome a cool heel like we haven't seen in years. I agree with keeping the title on Dom, he's doing an excellent job. He's without a doubt the future of the company pure entertainment done brilliantly. The in-ring work was also really solid. Great match."
[6.0] "A solid 3 wat match slightly better then the opener giving it the best match to this point for me but it still just a simple basic 3 way that just has some fun moments. Dom doing the chair spot tryna get Rusev dq is just straight stupid but i liked the fake out of the bell ringing. (***1/2)"
[7.0] "This was esssentially a diet version of the LA v Andrade v Melo feud we had last year. Not saying this was bad or anything, just that I was hoping for a bigger pay off. I did like the finish though with Dom retaining in another creative way of cheating"
[7.0] "This was a great match but istg every great match has to have a lame finish, I get it, Dom is the biggest heel in WWE and he's supposed to be doing this but it's getting boring, from match to match it's the same finish with the hammer, they should find something new for him, but I think he should soon drop the title to Cena"
[7.0] "Probably my match of the night, somewhere between a 6 or 7 but I'll round up. I don't really like the triple threat formula of switching between different singles combinations until the finish, but Penta and Rusev's bits of offense were really nice (especially the Penta Driver to Rusev). Dom wins off the hammer spot and a false bell ring which makes sense but isn't anything crazy. Good little match"
[8.0] "In spite of what's come prior this night, that was really great stuff from all of them. Part of me thought maybe Penta or Rusev would come out of this winner but the play with Dom ringing the bell was genuinely amazing. Great work, further proof why Dom as IC champ just really works"
[6.0] "Another fairly standard TV match, though I feel like they whiffed on the ending and dropped from what could've been a really great match to just a good one. I understand Dom finding creative ways to cheat to win, taking a leaf out of his late adoptive father's book, but... I think it sapped all the momentum out of the match and made those final two minutes going into the finish REALLY clunky. Dom going over -- especially if we're going for the Cena grand slam -- was one of the two right choices, though, so I'm glad he won."
[7.0] "Fun match here for the IC title . Nothing too crazy and didn't feel like anything besides a standard tv match , dom cheats to win again which is always unique but I would like to see him win a few matches clean to stop it from being so boring and repetitive"
[8.0] "A superb and a nice way to end the feud between the three. Great wrestling, good character work and some nice near falls spliced throughout that added to the match. I think this is gonna be the Match of the Night for the whole show. The best SNME match they've done since they brought back the concept. Dom's awesome reign continues. [****]"
