[10.0] "These are the two best women that NXT has had for the last few years, imo. The crowd was FIRMLY behind Tatum and both women did a great job playing into that. Jacy knows how to heel it up so well and it's just so easy to root for Paxley. Tatum winning was shocking, some of those near-falls genuinely got me. I don't watch too much WWE these days but I had to tune in for this one and it delivered and then some."
[8.0] "A feel good match for sure, seeing Tatum finally capture the title is awesome and well deserved. Match itself was great and got better over time, happy to see that both women got a chance to shine and really showcase how much they've grown and evolved over the past few years. These two are great when paired against each other, surely more bouts between them are destined for the future. In closing, super excited for the crowd investment, it adds so much to the atmosphere surrounding the contest, and really gave it a big fight feel."
[8.0] "There is one reason that this match deserves some praise. The crowd was chanting at the beginning saying they both couldn't wrestle to going crazy for the close falls and eventual win. The build was perfect. That's how you create a moment."
[10.0] "They tried their best for us and they shone! Jacy has learned and shown over her entire reign that she can play matches that are better than in the main roaster. And her interaction with Tatum perfectly helps Paxley to open up both in terms of character and to show himself in the ring. Keep shining."
[8.0] "I honestly thought this match was fantastic. Both of these athletes came out extremely physical, they beat the hell out of each other, there was a wholesale forearm exchange towards the end of the match. Jayne's rolling elbow was super snug, Tatum's looked great too and the combo of the rolling elbow to 450 I think is a winner that honestly should end a match. Cemetery Drive is a really ugly move lol but other than that I think this match genuinely sold me on Tatum Paxley as a worker and to an extent Jacy Jayne. In an era of WWE where true ring psychology takes a backseat to commentary telling you how you're meant to feel about a match (and often more importantly everything that happens OUTSIDE the match), this was a pleasantly surprising breath of fresh air."
[5.0] "[**1/2] First, a word of warning for those who may find this uncomfortable, Tatum Paxley wrestles in a short skirt and the NXT cameraman keeps shooting up her ass. Look past this and you have a pretty good match with a hokey finish, which spoilt it for me."
[8.0] "This was the best match and the best Jacy Jayne has looked ever. Bell to bell it had everything it needed, with a twist at the end and the most over wrestler winning the championship. Really good! ****1/4"
[6.0] "Pretty awkward and a lot of the offense didn't land particuarly well. Not that it was a bad match but I was dissapointed. Either way I'm glad Jacy has dropped the belt and with any luck back down the card as well. The women's title picture seems completely back to front for me with Sol and Blake feuding for the NA title and this is the world title, feels like that should be swapped around to me personally."
[7.0] "It didn't really hit that hard for me. Tatum looked fine and had some solid moments but it still feels too early for her to be carrying the division. Jacy did her part, nothing stood out enough to make it feel special. It wasn't bad by any means just not as strong as fans are making it out to be."
[7.0] "Lots of great wrestling last night, and this was no exception. Great crowd, great result, great storyline development. Much like the NA title match, there was a lack of exclamation point, but absolutely nothing to complain about. I underestimated both competitors before this evening, and this was very much an enjoyable showing."
[8.0] "Jacy Janes NXT title reign being one of the best reigns of 2025 wasn't on my bingo card, but god damn did this bring so many storylines to a perfect conclusion. Tatum being the overlooked and regularly beat comedy sidekick who finally gets a title shot has been a storyline I've been loving, and it set Jacy up to have her first title defense where she was seen as the Goliath instead of the David. So of course with it being the match where Jacy doesn't need her stable by her side to defend it, they have Tatum go over (largely clean). The action was incredible throughout, and Tatum shined in a way we haven't gotten to see an audience before. By the halfway point the audience had bought in to Tatum and were fully invested to everything she did, so when we reach the conclusion and she manages to overcome the odds in a manor similar to Jacy Jane when she initially won the belt; it's true bliss. Go watch this match, Jacy Jane is what the WWE tries to tell you the miz was, and Tatum has started a whole new chapter of her career that in this moment feels like it has no ceiling."
[8.0] "Really good and a genuine feel-good result. Tatum has a lot of potential and has been in NXT a while, her character work is always on point and she's easily good enough in the ring. Jacy Jayne's entire reign has proved me (and most) wrong and it'll be interesting to see what's next for her. I'd have loved it if Tatum had won clean but it makes sense storywise for her to have had help. I don't think she'll have a long reign as surely Izzi officially turns on her, but this tonight was really good."
[8.0] "Great match. This was the perfect chance to give Tatum the title, and they did it. We got some interference between The Culling and Fatal Influence, but a relatively clean finish. Some very decent wrestling here, including some great nearfalls. At one point, Tatum showed off some strength, with a backslide into a pin, which was pretty sick."
[9.0] "This was perhaps the best they could have delivered. A small masterpiece capable of evoking a whole range of emotions, featuring stunning ring work, gradually transitioning from fairly basic wrestling to more dynamic action and reversals, a good storyline that incorporated gang interventions and the appearance of Izzy at the end, whose intentions remained unclear, and a satisfying ending that opened up prospects for further development of the relationship between Tatum and Dame. Best match of the show, in my opinion."
[9.0] "Tatum Paxley vs. Jacy Jayne was a banger. Tatum is so damn impressive; she should honestly be on the main roster yesterday. Jacey Jayne also keeps getting better and better. That under the ring catapult looked nasty. Cemetery Drive is quickly becoming one of my favourite finishers."
[8.0] "Another good match on this show. This was like a typical Jacy Jane match, when start was good, middle part - kinda boring, but the ending just a fire. Expected, that Culling and Fatal Influence tried to help their wrestlers and been banished, but all they returned and Izzi helps (don't think that she want it), end Tatum Paxley is new champion. That was awesome. Love this so much and I'm happier than ever for her."
[9.0] "The storyline going into this match was fun and exciting, I've been so invested in Tatum's career path up until this point! Going from nearly a jobber, to start building who she really is and finally become comfortable in her character really shows how much growth she went through... so this really felt like a special crowning moment, where we saw the underdog, that was left behind and not taken seriously many times, achieve what most of the people doubted they would! It was also so cool to see the crowd cheering for her and finally getting behind her fully as the Tatum Paxley stock for me always felt promising; and the little details of Jacy for the first time being the top dog in a match was played extremely well which just confirmed (for me) that her future is gonna be really really bright. Both women also had a lot of chemistry in the ring and it's crazy that this was their first time having a singles match on TV, the communication was also present between them. Overall, a very nice, exciting and fun match! I'm so hyped for what's to come in the Tatum Paxley era and I hope she's not made into just a transitional champion (but if she's, I will be just happy that at least she got to hold the championship)"
"[8.5]> 2 of my favorite NXT women currently and they put on a show, Tatum Paxley finally getting her moment and winning gold after countless trials and set-backs, she deserved this"
[8.0] "Tatum Paxley's crowning moment befoe I get into giving my review Tatum Paxley has been overlooked for years and the fan support for her has been unreal she is a great talent and someone who should be a piece for the future of WWE on the Main Roster I hope she has a great reign, and I'm so happy Shawn Muchael pulled the trigger on this. This match was a lot of fun with drama on the outside and chaos in the ring. We saw Fatal Influence and The Culling being ejected from the ringside before they returned and caused more chaos. This match, I thought Izzi Dame was going to cost Tatum Paxley the match due tojealousyy and envy, but it didn't work as she cracked Jacy Jayne with the WWE NXT Women's Title, and Tatum Paxley got the win and celebrated with the members of The Culling, and I hope this isn't a transitional reign at all because I want a decent reign with solid matches for Tatum Pacxley but this was some fun stuff, and happy with the result."
[7.0] "Good match for the women's NXT title. This was better than expected. Tatum came in with great underdog energy even with Jacy not being a particularly strong champion. The action was solid but nothing special with the factions at ringside getting involved, but once they were finally ejected and it became a true one on one, it picked up a lot. The crowd really wanted Tatum to win. Tatum hitting the 450 splash led to a great near fall and left you wondering if she could actually pull it off. The finish was interesting. The Culling and Fatal Influence came back down and with the ref distracted, Izzi grabbed the title to target Tatum. This backfired, allowing Tatum to hit a Cemetery Driver for the win to become the new champion. The story between Tatum and Izzi is brewing. 7.5/10"
[8.0] "I really want to like this match. The start was a bit wonky, they were too soft with each other (maybe Tatum was nervous). The support for Tatum, her move arsenal, her babyface fire and spunk, her neat attire and the whole Culling being about her -- all good stuff. Jacy looked real good here, Lainey works as a FI member, and the champion was beating her opponent up in a dominant fashion -- good stuff. I loved the nearfalls in the end, and even the involvment of Izzy. But why the fuck are we having people return after being thrown out? And why are we having women attack men? Guys can't retaliate in WWE really. I'm fine with things not making sense sometimes for a good story, but that part sucked. Don't thrpw them out for a cheap pop if they are involved in the finish. Those problems aside, this was damn near perfect for what it was suposed to be. Very excited for Paxley as champion."
[7.0] "Tatum Paxley vs Jacy Jayne was a good match with both ladies working hard to get the crowd involved and behind the babyface challenger. Paxley played a strong underdog against the heel champion, but Jayne was the standout here in playing the perfect foil to play the story out well (***3/4)."
[10.0] "This match was excellent. Tatum had great babyface fire and was able to convey how much of a battle this match was through her selling, Jacy was fantastic at playing the overconfident heel especially with how she reacted once Fatal Influence was thrown out, you could tell her confidence immediately shifted to uncertainty. Tatum winning was the right result and a proper feel good moment. Very good job by both Tatum and Jacy here, this was type of match that makes you realize how much potential they both have."
[10.0] "Omg I'm so freaking happy for Tatum's victory, she deserve it so much. The construction of the match was so entertaining and unpredictable. The storyline between Tatum and Izzy promise to be interesting. I'm so happy overall! Jacy and Fallon are ready for the main roster."
[9.0] "This match was a Halloween Havoc main event that delivered on chaos, emotion, and faction warfare. Jayne entered with her Fatal Influence allies, while Paxley represented The Culling, setting the stage for a high-stakes faction showdown. The crowd was electric, sensing the tension and unpredictability from the opening bell."
[7.0] "Tatum Paxley and the NXT Women's Championship go together like cookies and cream, what can I say? My major gripe with this match, and one that knocks it down from "great" to just "good", is that I honestly do think the Culling is an interminably dumb faction, and Fatal Influence's existence as heaters for Jacy still doesn't make up for her (admittedly narrower now) deficiencies in the ring. If it was JUST Pax and Jacy all match, then I get the feeling I would like this a bit more -- the stuff post-ejection was REALLY good -- but as it stands, the faction work is the major drag on on this match."
[8.0] "Hell yeah, this ruled, wish the finish was clean tho but great match nonetheless. Congrats Tatum. You will be remembered Jacy Jayne. Fun lil run as Nxt champ. Very fitting that this was her best, her matches got more better the longer her reign went. So happy they didn't go the culling turning on Tatum route. Tatum has finally won Nxt gold, looking forward to her run as champ, she's so underrated. Nxt good? ****"
[8.0] "Suprisingly entertaining match between the two with a fantastic booking decision of Tatum Paxley winning the womens title. The womens title gets some boosting now after the bland matches, feuds and defends. I was genuinely surprised about the pace and speed this match had. The crowd were involved with every move from Paxley. I feel like this run could be good if done right and supposedly can see an Izzi Dame jealousy storyline brewing already. Well deserved, enjoyed it."
[9.0] "This match had fantastic heat the crowd was on the edge of their seat throughout. This was definitely a match where due to Shawn's booking philosophy, you really felt like it could go either way, and they used this to play into the finish by for a second working the audience into truly thinking that Tatum was going to lose. Jacy is a great worker and Tatum is ridiculously good given her level of experience. What I especially like about Jacy is how excellent she is in her control segments. This was essentially the perfect sports entertainment world title match. I fell for several near falls and was on the edge of my seat, one of my favorite WWE matches this year."
[8.0] "As someone who has always looked over Tatum Paxley, man that was great. The fans all wanted her to win, the nearfalls were great, and the offense all looked good. The match was paced well and everything went relatively smoothly. The late stage action really carried the match for me. Congratulations to Tatum on the title win, well deserved because she has just put in so much work. ****1/4"
[8.0] "A standard but quite good match, pitting a babyface underdog against a heel champion. We had some tense moments between the two wrestlers' managers, which ultimately resulted in their ejection. Jacy managed to dominate the match, but Tatum always managed to turn the tables and land some interesting moves, like a 450 splash. In the end, both Fatal Influence and The Culling returned, and we had a "strange" moment with Izzi seemingly trying to attack Tatum but instead hitting the title on Jacy Jane. After that, Tatum finally earned the title she deserved and had her big moment. She's a very good wrestler with a unique style, and I hope this isn't just a temporary push."
[7.0] "This match was actually pretty good. I thought this was gonna be mid at best, but this turned out to be When Tatum hit that 450, I thought that was end and I got excited, but sadly, Jacy kicked out. When everyone got sent to the back, that's when things started to get good and interesting. Tatum winning the title was great, she deserves the title, I was worried Jacy was gonna win and we we're gonna have to suffer another few months with Jacy as championship."
[10.0] "Excellent to see Tatum Paxley capturing her first NXT gold, crowd was red hot for her and it was a pretty feel good moment for the viewers. It's also interesting to see what's gonna happen going forward with the Culling and Izzi Dame, who had drama in the match"
