I'm a big fan of this style of wrestling and I have continued to enjoy the Young Bucks work this year. The MVP is surely Jack Perry as he look as if he has returned at least partially to old form, and that is a great sign for this tag division."
[3.0] "Really, really happy that Luchasaurus is back and healthy, but that's about as far as my enjoyment of this match went. I found Jurassic Express to be a passable team in the early days of AEW but they were never top of the pile for me, and after Jack Perry's extremely disappointing heel run and lengthy absences I admit I have pretty well lost interest in him. The Broke Bucks is a mildly amusing gimmick but their wrestling remains the same and it's just not for me, it never really has been. This was very effective for what it was supposed to be, it just so happens that what it was supposed to be is not something I really enjoyed very much."
[9.0] "A phenomenal match between two OG AEW teams that have become intertwined in very interesting ways. Jack Perry has kind of gone under the radar with how much he has improved since the start of the company. While I don't necessarily love that he's gone back to being a tag wrestler for the foreseeable future, there's no doubt that he has continued to elevate himself. And what more can you really say about the Young Bucks at this point? One the greatest tag teams to ever do it and they prove it every single time they step into the ring. This would have probably been my match of the night if not for the Tag Title match later."

The Jacksons can mess around and do their choreographed stuff whilst jobbing, Perry takes most of punishment and multiple finishers with big Lucha coming in and clearing house. Like the WWE always had the Dudleys on early card, JE are always good to liven the crowd up. Poverty mocking is usually off limits, make a small exception for the Broke Bucks."

Great build-up to the 'hot-tag.' These two teams have such phenomenal timing."

Luchasaurus in particular was really tremendous in this match, moving fast, hitting moonsaults and really flying around and hitting power moves. We got some awesome double team offense and counter sequences from the Bucks, including hitting the stomping package piledriver that the Lucha Bros did. Good match. I wonder what Perry moving the tag rope was about."
[10.0] "The Young Bucks are once again the common denominator in a fantastic tag team match, as they went bell to bell with the recently reunited Jurassic Express in a losing effort, helping to elevate the recently returned Jack Perry & Luchasaurus. Some fantastic tag team chemistry from both sides, and this one flew by as a result."

The crowd seemed into it, but it started to fatigue me watching back home. That said, both teams were good fun here. I do worry that this will be the formula going forward for Luchaexpress, Perry wrestles the majority, then makes a hot tag to Luchasaurus."

I'm not the biggest fan of these PWG style bouts nowadays but I thought this one specifically ruled in a lot of things. The biggest difference between this match and what a match like this would've been in 2019 is that this one had 24 minutes and a couple of years ago it would have 15. Today's version is worse. Doing long matches for the sake of them being long is stupid. What's the need for a 25 min spotfest without any focused direction whatsoever? They should've just done cool shit for a while. This made a great match worse."

Tons of wild offense from both teams, Luchasaurus looked great and was super over with the crowd in St. Louis. It's always crazy to see the athleticism he has at his size, but the fact that he was on the brink of death at one point and is now back in the ring, reunited with Jack Perry and hitting moonsaults off the apron onto the Bucks, is insane. Starts off a bit slow with the Bucks isolating Jack and working him over for a bit but once he tags out to Luchasaurus, the match explodes into the high octane, big move spotfest that i expected it to be. They do overdo it a bit with the near falls in the back half and like i said before, it is a little too long, but for the most part, i really enjoyed the work in this and i think its easily the best that both Jack and Luchasaurus have looked in a very long time. ***3/4"

Personally, I just didn't care about the outcome and every "hot" Perry kick-out, but the crowd ate it up, so I think it was an extremely good match for the target audience."

[7.0] "I've really enjoyed this match, of course it has many issues, like, it was longer than it should've and had so many nearfalls, but it's a nostalgic matchup between Jurassic Express and the Bucks, and it's so interesting to watch Jack and Luchasaurus together again, the big dinosaur was excellent here and Perry brought the flashy stuff like always, they're good together, fine chemistry. For a sentimental match like this, with so much history between Jack Perry and the Bucks, this should probably have more storytelling and meaningful stuff than it had, and less crazy frenetic spots, but that's how they operate and it also had a lot of very cool bits - {***1/4}"

Long yes but since they kept the crowd throughout it felt more like an exciting baseball game that goes into the 14th inning rather than a 10 inning game because both offenses sputtered at the end."
[8.0] "Crowd holding dollar bills for the Broke Bucks was so funny lmao. That was a very fun tag match featuring exactly what you would expect from both teams. That's easily the best Luchasaurus performance since returning and another standout for the Bucks. Also, it feels good seeing Jungle Jack being amazing in the ring again, he was badly missed since all the Scapegoat stuff, that hurricanrana coming from the stomp on the ropes was just batshit crazy! And he just kept going and going and it was awesome. The match could've benefit a lot from a little less minutes tho."
[9.0] "Can't believe how good Jurassic Express still are. They're a genuine superhero tag team. Mostly this is down to Luchasauras being old, injured, but still somehow insanely strong and athletic. But Jack Perry really has something too, like a top-level but very unique luchador. This match definitely felt like a meaningful struggle but probably went one or two near-falls too long."
[7.0] "****1/4 Very good match, the Young Bucks always shine, and Jurassic Express did quite well, especially Jack Perry, great chemistry, a very fluid match, very good pace, they started calmly and gradually increased the revolutions until the final minutes, very good intensity, perhaps a low point was that they exaggerated a little Jack Perry's resistance, making him do a kick-out having received 2 BTE Triggers and that it won't cost him almost anything to recover after the kick-out, Luchasaurus was very agile, the Bucks did their best to make them look good, good ending with the Bucks applying a second BTE Trigger that Jack kicks out, Luchasaurus reintegrates and helps Jack and applies his finisher to one of the Bucks to win."
[7.0] "In my opinion this is one of the very few stories on this entire card that I am very engaged in. Love the repairing of the Jurassic express and Perry feeling wronged by the bucks in his time of need. But more importantly this current gimmick with the bucks being broke now that they aren't EVPs anymore has been so great and something completely fresh and the most I've enjoyed them since there 2021 title run. AEW have done these stupid money matches before where the winner gets a said amount of money but it doesn't mean anything to the product. This time it is the complete opposite it mesned a lot to the product and the story of the bucks because there broke now and they're in need of it I wish this was the first and only time we've seen this stipulation. It's a good match but it dragged to much everyone in it played a important part in the match and the story but I would have cut out more then half of these near falls but it really just was ran thin towards the end. Bucks loosing is for sure the right call I just don't know how they can continue these characters of the bucks without some sort of character development so that will be interesting to see. Good call backs and just a fun feeling of old AEW with these two teams against eachother. (****)"
[8.0] "8.5. My favorite match of the night, but definitely needed tightened up to a nice 17 minutes or so and it would've been perfect. Bucks are in prime form, Luchasauras is very over with the crowd, and Perry's turnaround has been great to see. Some fantastic sells and spots, and I'm always surprised at how the Bucks manage to add little layers and twists to familiar spots to keep them fresh. Love that finisher from JE, and the crowd got a nice surprise with Kenny."
[5.0] "This match was very decent. Some sequences and moves were good, but I feel like this went for way too long. 23 minutes? Really? I love the Broke Bucks gimmick the bucks have. Also, why was Jack Perry booked to be like super human by taking a ton of moves and kicking out?"
[4.0] "Goofy Bucks stuff but not as bad as usual. They followed the rules for the first half of the match at least and it didn't get as wildly obnoxious as usual. This humble heel down on their luck Bucks is the best gimmick they've had since the first year. The money thing is one of the few comedic things in wrestling that actually hits. Post match Omega stuff was ok as well. Jurassic Express is well past the point of being interesting but this was still average."
[5.0] "I actually enjoyed Luchasauraus in this match(definitely spelt wrong) but i'm not a big fan of the Bucks and this match was barely average for me. No real structure to the match outside spots and not sure why Jack Perry is randomly booked so strongly in a match after being a chicken for so long."
[7.0] "A solid tag team contest that delivered on action and storytelling but suffered from excessive length and overindulgence in its closing stages. The match opened with Perry and Matt Jackson exchanging barbs, establishing the tension early. Perry's athleticism was on full display with crisp arm drags and aerial offense, while Luchasaurus provided the expected power advantage, flattening both Jacksons with ease. The Bucks' teamwork soon came into play, isolating Perry and working quick tags to maintain control. Their veteran synergy kept the pace sharp, with classic double-team maneuvers punctuating the early stretch. Momentum swung when Luchasaurus re-entered, running through the Bucks with lariats and chokeslams, though the match began to drift into familiar territory; elaborate sequences and multi-man counters typical of the Bucks' style. Still, the athleticism was undeniable, particularly during the chaotic stretch where both teams traded reversals, superkicks, and apron spots. Perry showed strong resilience, notably surviving both a spike package piledriver and a BTE Trigger; moments that, while dramatic, stretched believability. The crowd responded huge to the Doomsday Device nearfall, arguably the best-timed sequence of the match. The finish saw Luchasaurus hit the Countdown to Extinction on Matt Jackson for the decisive pin, closing a good, if slightly overwrought, encounter. While not their best work, this served as an engaging chapter in Perry's ongoing elevation, presenting him as a gutsy, near-unbreakable competitor. ***"

No need to do that much classical tag wrestling on the way to their final act flurry. Nice, though. The finish was very cool, and it was generous of them to give Kenny something to do on the show in whatever minor way.
