[2.0] "This match deserved a better score if it was booked differently. This match is a world title shot, but it was booked in the form of a comedy. Neither the quality of the match was a disaster nor the comedy in the ring; but the combination of the two was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. The ending of the match was really funny and how can a company book its two most important stars as a comedy?"
[2.0] ""And the crowd goes mild." The crowd obviously could have cared less about this match which begs the question, why was it on a PPV? Giving credit where it's due, the most entertaining part of the match was when AJ Francis entered. As someone who has never watched this specific type of match before, I have no idea what the rules are. A tag team came out and had to choose which one of them entered. Shortly there after, a trios team entered all at once. What? This match is painful to watch. Even Eric Young got virtually no reaction. Add to that, all that's happening mid-match is a bunch of wrestlers laying on the ground while maybe 2 people work. This match has been a demonstration of the horrible WWE-ification of the wrestling business, but with an ice cold roster of jobbers. The Santino spot brought some entertainment as well, but the match completely went off the rails at the ending. They completely botched the double pin situation. Nemeth was completely laid out then inexplicably gave his legs to Kazarian for the pin. Then, one ref counted faster than the other. This is two matches in a row this show tries to overbook the finish and I'm left feeling like I'm watching a low budget revival of WCW 2000."
[5.0] "My problem is that you can't pretend you don't notice Kazaran is still left because logically the wrestlers would be going for a pin if there were only 2 people left. Otherwise it had some moments but the ending was terrible."
[3.0] "This was something at happened on the show. It wasn't bad and it wasn't good, it was just meh. BDE showing up was a cool moment cause I'm a massive fan of his and seeing him wrestler for a big company is also great, sucks he got eliminated, but what are you gonna do. The rest of this was bland and the ending was confusing as hell"
[8.0] "I thought this was a really fun battle royal / rumble, especially by TNA standards. Fans were all about Matt Cardona, which was nice. AJ Francis really works in TNA. I wasn't familiar with BDE and I rolled my eyes when they said he was a YouTuber, but I was impressed. Mara Sade looks like a star, I hope she has a lot of success. The pairing of Mance Warner and SDL really works. Eric Young is a great veteran. Kaz is a wonderful snake. I didn't think the co-winner ending was too bad, and I'm delighted that Nic Nemeth has finally won one of these things. Maybe it's an indictment but this doesn't have the stakes/prestige of the Royal Rumble so it doesn't feel as off as it did with Bret and Luger. Cons: TNA needs to stop doing impromptu matches and match changes, they're illogical, who's spot did Santino take to enter himself on a whim? Also, I guess it was funny to see Santino repeat his Rumble elimination, but I kinda wish TNA would stop paying homage to its sugar daddy promotion, it feels a little sycophantic and demeaning. Like, it's reminding you that it's not as big a deal or that these aren't real stars."
[7.0] "Gauntlet Match 2025 - I thought it was a fun match I don't really get the low rating for this, a solid rumble style match "Error #4: Comment too short Please enter a longer comment for your rating"."
[6.0] "A decent battle royal, everyone had his starting moment showing their movesets, some funny moments and interactions between stars, and incredible spots e.g. quadruple superkick to AJ Uncle Phill or the piledriver from the apron, good eliminations, no botches that I could remember, but this stipulation is famous for the returns, debuts or special apparitions but this match only had Zack Clayton who only appeared a few times last year and BDE who people as me do not know. Finally, some people is bothered as result of the end of match when Zolph Diggler and Antonio Banderas had a draw, but I liked it, two villains whose opportunity to a main event spot is coming."
[5.0] "It was not the best battle royal ever, but it was still decently fun. I think that Something looked incredibly powerful, while Young's heelish work was done really well, especially for Williams' elimination. On the bad side, I wished to see more out of Warner. The draw ending might not be the best one, but it can create an interesting dynamic between Nemeth and Kazarian and I found funny the ending scene involving the two winners arguing on who has to bring home the cup."
[8.0] "I thought it was a good match. The Battle Royal portion of the match was very fun, I enjoyed it a lot. The overbooking of the ending instead of the clear 1 vs. 1 makes the match a bit worse, but leads to a fun potential story. Overall I liked the match because almost all the competitors got some fun moments in the match, all of those moments were pretty different from each other, so the creative side of it all was nice to see."
[6.0] "3, 9 I feel is very harsh. Was it the cleanest match? No, but it was still fun with some genuinely funny moments and some interesting spots. Mass run-in cluster-matches are always going to have a ceiling and I think this hit it."
[6.0] "Rating these gauntlets is kind of hard. It started off well with Lei Ying Lee and Mara Sade having their own mini match. There were a few funny spots (Francis betraying his Rich Homie Swann, Santino was in & out within seconds). Unfortunately some of it was really stupid (the Rascalz somehow entered at once, Kazarian got to enter because he attacked Threat). The finish was very odd. It could be really fun, but they just gave Kaz the trophy last year and booked it poorly. Overall, a fun gauntlet if you try to ignore the stupidity. There were no real surprises, but I liked that because it gave a spot to a bunch of TNA people."
[8.0] "Good match with lots of interesting storylines throughout the gauntlet. Solid execution, enjoyable wrestling. The only cringe was that 'zombie-vampire' entrance -- looked rough. Many lack critical thinking, rating it low just 'cause of the ending. They expected Santino to announce a cup match, but instead got two winners. I don't get the hate -- this gives creative so much flexibility going forward."
[6.0] "It's the kind of fun chaos that makes wrestling weirdly comforting, like junk food for your brain. Jake Something looked like a beast, Santino reminded everyone why comedy belongs in wrestling and Guido popping up was that "oh yeah, him! " moment. It wasn't perfect, but it was fun."
[6.0] "The end of the match sucked. We can all agree on that. But I really dont think this was bad at all prior to the finish. Entries came fast, so there was always something happening in and out of the ring, and a decent amount of the wrestlers got decent reactions."
[5.0] "I feel alot of positives in this match that people aren't focused on because of the winners of this match and How we got to that. There's a lot of fun eliminations and interesting ways of how we got elinations that were fun and created some good moments. I personally don't like how so many partners come out right next to eachother but mostly in this case RIGHT after eachother. Like first class swann and then Aj Francis right after eachother (don't get Francis chokeslamming swann I never understand why wrestlers do that so early in these type of matches rather then waiting till the very end) and the nemeths also coming out right after eachother. There's a lot of fun moments like bde being in this match was cool for me since he was one of the YouTubers I always used to watch when I was young. The Frankie kaz taking Jody threats spot and getting into it with Santino before Santino was the very next entrance which I hope we can turn that into a full on program rather then just a one night thing and then re creating the Santino 1 second rumble elimination spot. And then mance warner coming out at 20 and looking like a complete freaking star man was cool he looked sick. And the final three being the nemeths and cardona it would seem until Kazarian just appears. The final spot with the double pin was cool in the moment I hated this decision because I personally think this is the perfect way to get someone new and fresh into the world title picture every year but after thinking about it I think nemeth and kaz sharing the cup is gonna make for amazing tv with them both fighting for the oppurtunity to cash it in it should be fun if done right. (***1/4)"
"I thought it was an exciting match - Almost every elimination had a purpose & we got a ton of fun spots out of it. It looked like Eric Young hit BDE for real as hard as he could, the Rascalz showed out per usual, AJ Francis's chokeslam spot on Rich Swann was entertaining. Wacky finish that I think its being overreacted to because the fans reaction. Proper Boston metro crowd & cant fault anyone who didnt like the finish.. Looking forward to see what they do with both Kaz & Nic when the time comes!"
[6.0] "Fun match, didn't felt sloppy in any moments. Quick eliminations for people like Jake Something whose playing a jobber there or for the women overall pissed me. The winners even if it was obvious 5 minutes prior to the ending were a fun surprise."
[4.0] "This had some fun moments but it went way too long and then the finish completely ruined it. I wish I could say better things about it, but it was just a battle Royal/gauntlet with not really any surprises besides a youtuber. If you're going that long for a match you need to have a better finish than that"
[4.0] "This was ok multi-man slop. Better than the rumble but not as good as the Casino Gauntlet. TNA has always been in the weird middle ground of not quite being good but generally not terrible. Credit where's it's due Frankie, Santino, Jake, Nic, and Matt Carson's shined and came across as stars. But there wasn't much else going on. TNA seems to have also contracted WWE's lack of time comprehension as there is no earthly world where the entrances were 60 seconds apart and there were no super entrances. BDE showed up... slop."
[4.0] "The match offered some entertaining moments, but overall it was an uneven mix that failed to reach the level of organized chaos that usually characterizes this type of fight. The structure felt disorganized at times, with rushed eliminations and few truly noteworthy stories inside the ring. There were surprise appearances that briefly roused the crowd, but the lack of coherence between the entrance intervals and the overall pace affected the flow of the match. Still, some wrestlers took advantage of the opportunity to shine briefly, though the final result failed to leave a lasting impression or a true highlight on the card. 4/10."
[4.0] "Pretty lackluster gauntlet with little surprise and very odd booking. Most of the people here who I thought could've benefited from winning this either did very little or got eliminated by guys like Home Town Man or Eric Young. Most of the people who came out also barely got a reaction which is unfortunate, ending with a weird final "3" of Cardona and the Nemeth just to do the cop out draw with Kazarian. Neither guy really benefited from this and I would've just preferred a real winner after 30 minutes of that"
[2.0] "Mf's have a deal with NXT and probably AAA and NOAH by extension, were saying "hey we're gonna have surprises in this match" and then the best they could do was Zack Clayton and Santino Marella. Then follow it up with a double pin spot between two heels. Not to mention it was just badly booked all around, Nemeths enter back to back, First Class enter back to back, All three of The Razcals get to enter at the same time but Sinner and Saint had to flip a coin? And these are the people saying they're the number two company in wrestling?"
[1.0] "There's a theory that, after Pat Patterson died, the art of building a good battle royale (be it the Rumble, the Call Your Shot Gauntlet, or whatever) died with him. And well, you can certainly see it here. Whilst there's certainly some merit in going for the road less travelled with a unique ending... but much like the "Chelsea Green wins automatically" idea that was floated on Unreal, there are really some things that should be thrown out at first pass, because you just know in execution the audience is going to fucking hate it, and a double-pin in the CYS Gauntlet is exactly that. Especially after sitting through thirty minutes for an effective nothingburger finish, 6, 000 people chanting "bullshit" is well-deserved. Terrible booking ruins the show again, but come on, it's not as if it's the first time even recently that TNA creative has done something as stupid as this."
