[7.0] "A long tag team match that ended in decisive fashion with the babyface team of Ripley and Sky winning as expected. I don't think there was ever any doubt about the result. The first ten minutes of the match were about the Kabuki Warriors isolating Sky from Ripley until Ripley got the hot tag and the match picked up from there. I think it would have been better if the heels had cheated some more for some nearfalls, and maybe had a few more nearfalls later in the match. If you're going to be heels in a tag team match, then you should cheat more. That's what being a heel is all about. Anyway, there was no way that Ripley was losing in Australia, so of course her team got the win."
[9.0] "Good moment for Rhea in Australia. These four always have good matches together and this was absolutely no exception. Just a very well put together match with a crowd that was super into it. Most PLEs this is the best match on the card except if followed the amazing Cena v Styles match."
[8.0] "Had to be tough to follow the previous classic but this was a fun, fast-paced match worthy of the spot. Chemistry oozing from the ring with this one, as everyone was pretty well and tuned with each other. Great to see that this women's match got an adequate amount of time, can't believe that's still an issue nowadays (LOLWWE). The brutal nature of the moves and strikes added to this one, no beating around the bush here as all 4 women were willing to do anything to pick up the win, more of this please and thank you."
[5.0] "This match was the last one I watched, and I genuinely don't have anything to say about it. These WWE shows are exhausting to get through because these five-match specials take so much out of me. Iyo won with the moonsault on Kairi. **1/2"
[5.0] "It's not a bad match. But it's forgettable. And that's the bottom line of WWE.There are moments that are just too repetitive. Sometimes the balance of their movements and logic is disrupted and the flow of the blows is lacking."
[7.0] "Really entertaining tag match with sharp timing and great chemistry. Asuka and Kairi were on point, while IYO and Rhea balanced power and chaos perfectly. Fast, fluid, and genuinely fun to watch."
[9.0] "A fantastic tag match between both teams with really amazing in ring work and psychology between each other, the story between everyone was really fun, and the crowd was hot for the team of IYO and Rhea."
[10.0] "One of the hardest hitting tag matches I've seen from women in WWE , the women in WWE have been the most consistent when it comes To in ring action especially the ones on raw , iyo is the certified goat, Joshi strong style was in play here from asuka and iyo especially, great match , hopefully we get another tag match between both which would likely even be better, this has been the most consistent year ring wise for WWE women , the raw Division is Carrying hard, smackdown ladies need to wake up"
[8.0] "The story was already cool. I would have liked to have Bayley and Kai in the story since they were part of Damage CTRL, but the current story is fine too. The first part is a little slow. The Kabuki Warriors were good heels during this time, keeping Rhea at bay, attacking with superior numbers, and provoking Rhea. Once Rhea got involved, all four women were in the mix and the intensity didn't drop until the end. We saw that Rhea and Iyo became friends and that Sane sacrificed herself for Asuka."
[8.0] "Super fun tag match. Think it could've had a few minutes cut off but it never really got boring. IYO and Asuka's minutes in the ring together were great, the build up to Rhea's hot tag was done very well, and the ending was good as predictable as it may have been. All in all very solid stuff (8/10)"
[9.0] "Really good tag team match but it was obvious that it's gonna be since the announcement - we have here possibly 3 of the best joshi's of 2000's and hometown hero in Rhea. IYO vs. Asuka moments were so good and both Sane and Ripley added to the atmosphere. The crowd was unfortunately exhausted after Cena vs. Styles but you could tell they were trying to give them as much as possible. In the end Rhiyo won which was no brainer but Kabuki Warriors should've taken that W - it would have solidified their position as top heels. Overall it was great, the chemistry was absolutely stellar and everyone did some cool stuff. ****, 25"
[8.0] "Really great. Unfortunately the crowd was TAPPED after Cena/Styles, but when you throw 4 of the WWE's best active female wrestlers into the ring, you'll still get gold. IYO is the GOAT, Rhea is a beast, and the Kabuki Warriors still looked great despite the loss."
[9.0] "I really loved this match. Iyo is the best wrestler in the world. Rhea is one of the most over. The Kabuki Warriors are quite possibly the best women's tag team in the world. Take those components, add one of the better stories going in WWE right now, put it in front of a hot and partisan crowd, and you shouldn't expect anything less than great. The first half of the match was Kairi and Asuka working over Iyo and keeping her isolated. Sometimes this can descend into a crowd not caring until their favourite wrestler comes in, but the crowd loves Iyo almost as much as Rhea, and they were behind every bit of hope she got. The second half had all four women involved and they all worked together impeccably. Iyo gets the pin in this grudge tag match, but doesn't get the pin over the mastermind in Asuka, so this will continue. Excellent stuff in a tough spot on the card."
[8.0] "Very fun tag match. The Rhea hot tag was so damn good & the reaction was insane, thought all 4 worked well in this & you can tell they are having a blast"
[7.0] "A fairly standard tag team match between four very good wrestlers. Nothing special, but a solid and enjoyable bout overall. I liked the spot with the exchange of kicks between all the competitors."
[9.0] "An awkward moment or two and at times, over the top but points for psychology and storytelling. Asuka was taking some serious liberties, you could tell she was having fun with the new heel persona. The action picked up in the second half and it had a good chunk of highlights. Iyo hit the cleanest moonsault I've seen in a while and although I did wish Asuka was pinned for a more satisfying ending to the feud (unless the feud will continue, which in that case, I'll let it slide), this match was great and near perfect."
[8.0] "A really solid tag match overall. The first half of the match was a really good FIP segment from Iyo, with Asuka & Kairi being great at getting heat on her and cutting her off over and over, particularly Asuka who's so excellent in this heel role here. Rhea's hot tag isn't exactly as amazing as it could've been given the build, but it was definitely good, and then we got a segment where Iyo got to have more shine and have Rhea build up to come back again for her home crowd, and even then Asuka still has some nice cutoffs. Nice finishing stretch too with Kairi taking the bullet for Asuka only to get obliterated by two finishes (Iyo even getting the win instead of Rhea which was nice). ***3/4"
[9.0] "One of, if not the best tag match of the year. And absolutely the best women's tag match in WWE history. Asuka and IYO's viscousness towards each other being the highlight of it all. They were stiff as hell. Kairi and Asuka's work on IYO leading up to the Rhea hot tag, and how IYO sold all that was great stuff as well. Wonderful in ring storytelling. Rhea letting IYO get the pin for the finish is a nice touch."
[8.0] "These ladies just battered the hell out of each other lol. For what was meant to be a breather match in between AJ/Cena and Seth/Cody they brought some serious firepower out to play and worked a fun tag match."
[8.0] "IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley teaming up must be some kind of punishment because two of the best in the business are on the same team to take on the Kabuki Warriors. A great match is coming, and we have to see it. Rhea Ripley was in her home country, and the crowd popped loudly for her. They were on their feet when she came out, and IYO SKY was getting a lot of love. The Kabuki Warriors have been one of the most interesting parts of WWE today, with Asuka being one of the best heels lately, tormenting Kairi Sane and punishing IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. The match itself was fun, packed with action and exciting moments, and we saw the chemistry of IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley really shine as they worked together. Kabuki Warriors did suffer a loss, but I think they should have won to add more heat to their team. However, I understand--Rhea Ripley is in her home country and needs the win. Still, I hope the Kabuki Warriors get their revenge soon. This was a really fun match before the Main Event, and I hope IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley continue teaming up after the Kabuki Warriors feud for a little longer. Effectively."
[8.0] "Best women's tag match the company has put out all year. Seriously, this was four pillar storytelling in the modern age. Everyone came out looking great, Iyo & Rhea can peacefully coexist as the two unstoppable babyface monsters, and Kabuki warriors can go revive the women's tag scene by mania. This match has strikes harder than dark souls, and more energy than a sloppy electrician in his last day. Great watch go check it out."
[9.0] "Excellent tag match, and the first time a non title womens tag match has ever made a PLE in wwe, all 4 of the women involved killed it, especially IYO of course as always and asuka, they worked a really stiff match with those asuka strikes to iyo and the drop kick by iyo which clocked asuka right in the mouth, this match leaves very very excited for a future asuka vs iyo singles match, and kairi will be the biggest benefactor through this feud, even with the loss, kairi of course has a reputation as one of the best female wrestlers in the world, unfortunately she never got to show it in wwe, but now with this feud i can kairi finally shining,"
[3.0] "i dont get the rating on this, this is another tag fight with horrible pacing consisting of mostly iyo sky being isolated in the corner, deadass like half the match was that, and it just completely killed the flow of the whole event, there were some cool parts like the start but goddamn i didnt like this. either a 3 or a 4"
[8.0] "This was the best storyline for the show, but match was like a too simple. Good tag team fight with emotions, when Kabuki Warriors beat IYO SKY for the half of the match, and it was very powerfull, when Rhea finally came into the ring. Australians is very supportive to her. Overall match is good, but I expected something more."
[8.0] "One of the stiffer WWE matches I've seen in a while. Iyo and Asuka worked this match like they were back in Japan, the actual tag team work was nothing to write home about but the overall wrestling was pretty damn good. Good match for storylines and generally just a fun match for the card."
[9.0] "This was perfection in the first 15 minutes, but it went on too long for me. The start was also a bit boring. I think this was a one-of-a-kind match in WWE. ****1/2"
[7.0] "All four women are excellent, so of course it looked great and hit all the right beats. Rhea mostly sat on the apron like a DLC character waiting to be unlocked while IYO and Asuka carried the story. Once the hometown hero got her big tag, the crowd lost it. Solid stuff, fun finish, just a bit too predictable to feel special."
[8.0] "Great Storytelling in the match. The pop for Rhea's entrance was massive. Wanted the heels to win but, i'll take the face winning as Rhea losing on her birthday in her home country was unlikely. They prove why they are one of the best in the company right now and all four have great chemistry. The hot tag for Rhea with the crowd cheering for their own was awesome, after Iyo took offense half of the match. Expected a better emotional finish. Great match."
[10.0] "This match was so fun. I was kept on my toes the whole time. The back and forth was amazing and the hometown pop for Rhea made it even better. Iyo and Asuka offence to eachother was absolutely brutal and I cant wait to see them get there own match because from the looks of it they don't hold back. I loved the team work between Rhea and Iyo ive been wanting to see it for a while now. And the ending with the story telling of Rhea letting Iyo pin Kairi. Fantastic match"
[8.0] "Great match, Iyo Sky being worked at the start was great, Rhea Tag was great, Asuka v Iyo was great, Asuka/Kairi tag team moves were great, but in my opinion it went a bit too long, the ending with Kairi Sane being pinned was good, but I would've liked Asuka/Kairi to get the win."
[7.0] "The tag match had strong backstory investment and good execution. Ripley & Sky got the win which felt like satisfying payoff. The pacing worked, the heat generated by Sky's return and the emotional weight of former alliances, and the clean-ish finish was good. But some spots were telegraphed, the early double-teaming of Sky by Asuka & Sane felt a bit formulaic, and though the finish was good, it didn't blow me away with a sudden twist"
[8.0] "[4 Stars] It was so cool, but at the same time, we could only expect a banger with that lineup. The only slight downside was that the crowd wasn't too lively, but coming after Styles vs. Cena, that's not surprising."
"The tag match I thought was good. I was expecting a couple of "cinema spots" between Iyo and Kairi, which we didn't get. However, we did get some great heat on Asuka and Kairi, and we do know there will be ramifications for Kairi on Monday night because she was the one that lost. There was also some really nice and stiff exchanges between Asuka and Iyo and I have to say I am really excited for their singles match, especially if they let them go crazy and just have a stardom match. Good stuff. 3.75/5"
[6.0] "This match didn't quite work for me. It started really hot, but then cooled off as the match went on, before finally ending in a whimper. These four were in a tough spot, not only following the previous match, but trying to further the story between Sky, Sane, and Auska while having the home country star in Ripley on the apron. The first act made sense. Heels isolate Sky and continue their story before a big hot tag from Ripley. After this, the match lost momentum. It just kind of continues for another 10 minutes before Sane eats a Riptide and Moonsault combo. The match wasn't bad; it never could've been with those four. I just don't think it was as good as it could have been. 3.25 stars."
[7.0] "A real solid tag match that got good reactions from the live crowd and most of the fan base online. To me not much I would change other then I think it should have been Rhea taking the heat in this match from the kabukis putting the sympathy on her in her home country leading to Iyo taking the hot tag since this really is her story I think that would have layed the match out better. The action it self is solid not anything memorable and honestly the kabukis needed this win Iyo and rhea winning does absolutely not a dang thing for them or there story's but kabukis winning gives us a reason to keep going with this. (***3/4)"
[7.0] "Good tag team match. With Rhea here, the crowd was really into this the whole way which helped give the match more energy. The Kabuki Warriors get the heat on IYO for a while, doing a nice job building to the Rhea hot tag. Asuka and Kairi played up the heel antics effectively. From there the match swung more in Rhiyo's favor, but was still competitive. Everyone worked well together, good teamwork on display. Wouldn't say there was that one moment or exchange to make this really stand out, it was consistently solid the whole way through. Rhiyo pick up the win with a Riptide from Rhea and moonsault from IYO on Kairi. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes from here. 7.5/10"
[8.0] "Honestly, I think Kairi and Asuka needed the win here to keep this going for a while. But Rhea in Australia and on her birthday. Yeah she wasn't losing, but nice that Asuka wasn't pinned and Kairi sacrificed herself to save her. Iyo pins Kairi too so that adds to the story going forward. Hopefully Kairi turns on Asuka in the end and we get a Asuka vs Iyo and an Asuka vs Kairi match"
[6.0] "I don't understand the rating here, is this bias or something? Because this was a women's match? I'm 100% sure this wouldn't have gotten a 7+ rating if this was a men's tag match. Sure, it was not bad - but it really felt like Saturday Night's Main Event or like a good RAW or SmackDown main-event or something. Nothing special about it, Rhea Ripley is incredibly overrated and of course she was in her home-country so she had to win. Just an average tag match to me, really."
[10.0] "Excellent tag team match, in my top 2 favorite women's tag team matches. Non-stop, brutal, and impactful action. I can't wait to see what happens next! The best storyline at this time in WWE. 10 out of 10."
[5.0] "I thought this match was lacking and went on far too long with long periods in it of not much happening. I had built myself up for a nuclear heat generating turn by Iyo on Rhea in her home country. It didn't happen and I guess this feud just quietly goes away now."
[7.0] "The match started with chaos, as the two teams brawled before the bell even rang. Sky opened against Asuka, showcasing her agility with running dropkicks and a suicide dive to the floor, while Asuka and Sane used their experience to isolate Sky and dominate the early exchanges. The heels worked over Sky relentlessly, combining strikes, rope-assisted holds, and a top-rope double foot stomp that left her reeling, exemplifying classic tag team strategy where the babyface is kept away from their partner. Once Ripley finally got the hot tag, the momentum shifted dramatically. She unleashed a series of powerful clotheslines, running kicks, and high-impact moves, taking the fight to Sane and Asuka. Sky added her signature aerial offense, including a springboard moonsault and her Bullet Train running knees, keeping the pace high and exciting. The match flowed seamlessly between all four women, with tags and counters creating continuous tension. Asuka and Sane briefly regained control with opportunistic strikes and nearfalls, but Ripley and Sky's teamwork proved too much. The finish saw Ripley hit her Riptide on Sane before Sky climbed to the top rope and landed Over the Moonsault for the decisive pin. This was a strong, fast-paced tag team contest that effectively built the babyfaces and showcased Sky and Ripley's chemistry. The match structure was classic: the heels isolated one partner until the hot tag flipped the momentum. While the finish was decisive and satisfying for the crowd, the match relied heavily on predictable beatdown patterns and could have benefited from more nearfalls or heel cheating to add drama. That said, the in-ring action was crisp, the pacing solid, and the aerial offense added excitement, making it a fun, crowd-pleasing middle-of-the-show match. ***1/2"
[6.0] "Ripley surprisingly sidelined in this match with the focus being on the Joshis. Beside Kairi missing some of her cues, a pretty good match. Probably my MotN. But also "just" Act 1 in this feud, therefore the matches will (hopefully) get better."
[6.0] "I don't know where we will go from here, I was expecting the heels to win but alright. Got to say, Asuka is moving like the empress of tomorrow again. That fun to watch. Good thing about WWE right now is that all the "old timers"/legends are reviving again, perhaps for one last time."
[7.0] "A good albeit pretty standard tag match. All four of them mostly worked as singles wrestlers and less as tag teams, so we didn't end up seeing much creativity in terms of moves, however I would be lying if I didn't say that the Iyo/Asuka sections of the match weren't great and hyped me up for a potential 1v1. The story told throughout the match, although once again pretty basic for this type of matches, worked well for this storyline and it build up to a good and satisfying finish."
[5.0] "***1/2 Interesting match, the start was somewhat normal due to the classic moment of not letting the local team participate, but then it picked up a good level, interesting slow pace at the start but then it got a bit more constant, good intensity, the most notable thing about the match was the constant blows and intense exchanges they had, it was not a frenetic fight it was a somewhat intense and more personal fight, the duration was longer than expected and at times at the beginning it felt irrelevant added to an audience not as involved as in Cena vs AJ, normal ending nothing too remarkable"
[9.0] "Again I am in the minoritybecause this was by far my match of the night. Incredibly well worked throughout, some incredibly impressive moves and a well told story. I was in ester throughout and was thoroughly entertained. Iyo has been the best in the promotion this year!"
[7.0] "The tag team match between Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY against Asuka and Kairi Sane was a solid and entertaining contest, albeit with some ups and downs in its execution. From the start, the chemistry between the four women was evident, especially in the duels between Ripley and Asuka, where brute strength clashed with precise technique. IYO, as always, brought speed and risk with her aerial maneuvers, while Kairi provided that touch of charisma and emotion that easily connects with the audience. However, the pace was haphazard at times, with slightly confusing changes of pace and some transitions that didn't quite flow. Even so, the energy, dedication, and talent of the four women made for a clearly positive end result. 7/10."
[8.0] "Man, these ladies were really beating the shit out of each other in this one. Three all time greats + Kairi who is no slouch makes for an entertaining tag bout. Maybe a little too much burying of the referee for my tastes, and too much of girls "dying" outside the ring until it's their turn to break up a pin but it worked well and had many impactful moments."
[9.0] "Great tag match. Sublime tag team work from both sides. The heel tactics from Asuka and Kairi were amazing. The Iyo Asuka minutes were quite lovely, they were really physical with one another. As someone who loved their last match 1v1 a couple of years ago, I think they have a better match in them with the way both of them are operating right now. Kairi has looked so good during all of this. From her character work, to how she has looked in the ring lately. Very happy for her. This match rocked. Asuka just leaving Kairi out there to die was very funny. ****1/4"
