[4.0] "I like that MLW often pays homage to traditions, remembering not the most famous wrestlers and already forgotten types of matches like Chamber of horrors. Having this match in the card added a certain charm to the show, but unfortunately the match lasted only 5 minutes, and it was a very easy title defense for Mads, while the others didn't even really have time to show anything. The choice of contenders for the heavyweight championship also seemed rather strange to me. In the end, it was a fun nostalgic act, but too chaotic because of the limited space, and at the same time very short. 4 points."

It was frankly a bit of mess as it was far too cramped and the production team were not sure what to focus on. The highlight was the camera accidently showing the fella dressed in all black hiding behind the electric chair ready to press the button for effects. RIP CW Anderson, you died the way you always dreamed of, after a 5 minute match in front of a crowd laughing."

[5.0] "The Chamber of Horrors concept had potential but the cramped setup made it look messy. Some fun moments here and there but too many botches early on hurt the flow. The camera work during the electrocution bit was ridiculous and the finish came too fast. Mads retaining felt predictable given the theme though he's not a good champion in my opinion. Overall, more goofy spectacle than a serious title defense."

Never seen a chamber of horrors so I had hope for this, but it was just kinda 6 guys with very limited space messing up spots for a few minutes before Krule murders CW Anderson via electric chair lol. At least Mr Thomas did a cool moonsault"

[6.0] "MLW has a weird issue with tone, where it tries to be everything at once and as a result doesn't have much of a focus on anything, which leads to stuff like this half-baked corny mess. In what I can only assume is booking inspired by WWE 2k universe mode, Krule defends his title against literally just five random dudes. Not Dijak or Dyer or Hammerstone or Riddle, nope, guys like CW Anderson and Chris Adonis. Well, the match is the story, right? The Chamber of Horrors, which is decked out with barbed wire AND spooky Halloween fence decorations this time (shoutout to MLW scheduling their Halloween-themed event at the beginning of October and their Dia de los Muertos-themed event at the end of November lmao). Luckily, the match was incredibly brief and didn't overstay its welcome. They still got a couple nasty bumps in, including Mr. Thomas landing on his goddamn neck after a semi-botched Tower of Doom spot (gotta have one of those) and Matthew Justice taking a coast-to-coast header into a table just so he could do a clothesline. I dunno, it probably sounds like I'm talking shit but I'm not. It was a mess, but a brief, enjoyable mess. They embraced the corniness of the original Chamber of Horrors (also shoutout to the executioner who just chilled on the apron behind the electric chair the entire match) and didn't overstay their welcome. A real waste of a yearly gimmick match but it could've been so much worse. Also this confirms that Krule is a rock-type Pokemon, as he is apparently immune to electricity."
