[7.0] "I was sports entertained. Surprisingly fun stipulation, giving an underground vibe that made their feud feel significantly more intense than it actually was. Nevertheless, Myles Borne continues to be one of my favorite prospects out of NXT right now."
[8.0] "Definitely the best match of this NXT episode. A solid, hardcore brawl with a spectacular finisher. I was worried that the wrestlers would have trouble finding their way around in the dark because of the Lights Out rules, but those fears were unfounded, and the dim lighting only added to the atmosphere. ***3/4"
[6.0] "Pretty fun match but I've just never understood the lights out gimmick. Probabalt one of the only things that was enjoyable this entire show to be honest. Can't wait to see what Bourne does over the next year. (***)"
[6.0] "This came off like a proper feud-ender, with the babyface Borne finally getting his revenge on King after being run down by him so many times before. The Lights Out stipulation made parts of the action tough to follow, but both guys worked hard and the story clicked. Borne getting the decisive win felt right, even if the Slim Jim tables added more annoyance than excitement. A decent match overall. **3/4"
[6.0] "That felt like a feud-ending match with the babyface Borne getting the win to get revenge on King for trashing Borne repeatedly in the past. It was tough to see some of the match because of the Lights Out stipulation, but they worked hard, and I liked the story. It made sense for Borne to get the decisive win."
[7.0] "That was fire match, I can name it the best on the show. They're started very fast and Myles Borne looks jacked when he attack Lexis. We get 11 minutes of good extreme wrestling with a real emotional fight. And Lights Out brings the Underground atmosphere, that helped so much for my overall opinion."
[7.0] "Pretty good opening match that felt like the end to a feud between the two. Good performances from both wrestlers. The lighting choice did make some elements not as clear to see but a small criticism. A nice win for Myles with his eyes being on the North American title. 6.5-7"
[7.0] "The match delivered a brutal, anything-goes brawl filled with weapon spots, tables, chairs, and stiff shots. Borne's victory through a "Borne Again" maneuver through a table felt cathartic and earned after the beatdown, even if the dark lighting sometimes made things hard to follow. What holds it back from a higher score is that the stipulation and darkness sometimes undercut clarity, some moments felt repetitive in hardcore matches, and the storytelling between the chaos wasn't always clear. But as a visceral, intensity-driven midcard bout, it delivered more than average."
