[9.0] "Between this and the Mayu/Utami match, this was one of the best matches of the 2025 Dream Star GP. I'll preface by saying I didn't know much about Rea Seto before this, and I am not really into Victoria Yuzuki that much. That being said they kicked some ass with a great story, something that feels pretty rare in modern joshi (unless it's like a comedy match or Actwres Girls if you're into those stuff.). Great submission work from Rea, who I will say is definitely one to look out as a top prospect. and Victoria Yuzuki was a damn fine job selling (Something she likes to forgo in the bigger attendance matches.). This was wonderful surprise, and I hope they both keep improving. Four and a Half Stars out of Five."
[9.0] "Jesus christ, this was insane. This was one of the matches I was most looking forward to when the blocks were announced. However, I had little clue it would surpass my expectations to the extent that it did. All the selling is awesome, all the bumps are big and all the action is performed at a fever pitch and in front of a nuclear hot crowd. There's also fantastic details springled into the bout such as the water bottle moment because the more I think about it the more I agree with Pixelized0 that this spot was planned. Of course, if it wasn't, then it was just a very happy accident because it completely showed how mentally discombobulated Rea was as she tried to deal with her emotions and the sheer insanity of Yuzuki's onslaught (I'm not sure how Victoria didn't just spontaneously combust during this match). The action and ferociousness just does not let up throughout the entirety of the 15 minutes leading to a well earned draw. This is Rea's best singles match and another excellent Yuzuki match. It would have gotten a 10 if it had had more time too."
[6.0] "There was a lot to like here, but it really bugged me when Rea spent ages in a neck submission then immediately went for three straight bridging pinfalls with no bother whatsoever. Match was building nicely enough, but the drama had barely begun to peak when the bell rang ***1/4"
[9.0] "This was great. The first singles match between Rea and Yuzuki since the former's heel turn, there was plenty of motivation for these two to really go at each other. Yuzuki was even more energetic than usual as she continues to show why she's the MVP of the Dream Star. Rea looked more confident than she ever has and this is for sure the best match of her career (so far). They delivered some stiff strikes and kicks that let you know they meant business. Really good submissions from the both of them as well, there were times it looked like the match was over but they always found a way to just barely get out of it. Even in the last minute it felt like either could still win and they never stopped trying to. Though this ended in a time limit draw, the result made a lot of sense. 9/10"
[9.0] "I've written this several times already, but I'll say it again. Rea has improved a lot since joining Darkness Revolution. And I'm very happy about it. She and Yuzuki showed a cool technical match.Even when Rea slipped it didn't look like a botch, but rather organic. People in the arena got even more excited about the match. I think that besides the super newbies, Rea, Yuzuki and Komomo have improved a lot."
[9.0] "Probably the 2nd best match of the tournament, behind the amazing Mayu vs Utami match at Korakuen. Rea Set's best singles match so far, and she showed more of what she's capable of here. Much the same to her performances in the Marvelous elimination matches. Very good match, they work well together and have real good chemistry. Could be a defining rivalry in the company."
[6.0] "Well, I love technical wrestling but it has to be done right like every style. This time, I thought that it were pretty boring throughout and that they could have tried to mix it with something different for a better result. Not bad though. ***1/4"
[6.0] "It may be difficult to understand because I used the translation function. It was a match I was looking forward to and it was fun, but it wasn't as good as I expected. Rea tried her best, but the precision of her moves, including her haas of Pain submission at the end, was quite low. I also felt that Victor's precision was low in some places. I guess that can't be helped, as both are still newcomers with short careers. As they both build their careers, these two have the potential to make a great match."
[8.0] "Much better then i expected. Yuzuki been on another level this entire tournament and this is probably my favorite area performance especially as a heel. Only issue was the second submission going as long as it did made it a little obvious a TLD was coming. At least in my opinion."
[7.0] "One of the better matches of the tournament and in my opinion the best of Seto's career. Seto, for my money, is the performer who has developed the most since the company started last year, and now is one of the better performers on the roster. Yuzuki is truly amazing. She never ceases to impress me and showed real aggression in this one with some ZSJ-esque submissions. Didn't see the draw coming, but it's good to know Seto is looked at highly enough to warrant one. 3.75 stars."
[8.0] "Great match here, the best of Rea's career. Rea's limb work was fantastic and helped Yuzuki's babyface performance pop even more. This being a TLD is great for the story that these 2 have together."
[9.0] "My demons. Seeing the growth in both Rea Seto and Victoria Yuzuki as the year has progressed has been one of my favourite things to witness in wrestling. This match was so good. Yuzuki has been the mvp of the dream star matches so far tbh, and Rea has just been very consistent in how she wrestles for quite awhile not so when I saw this match being raved about so positively, it made me smile knowing what I was on store for and they did not disappoint. The future of joshi wrestling is so bright because of these two, this match rocked"
