Ashley Vox vs. Billie Starkz

[6.0] "A great showcase for the Pure Rules in the women's division. Vox was basically just a body for Billie to face here, but she had a solid showing. Billie being forced into two of her rope breaks in just a few minutes just to burn her one closed fist to cut her opponent off and then use that to win was perfect. ***"

[4.0] "I liked the interaction between Starkz and Turner. I don't understand why Turner getting Starkz to get off Vok in the corner didn't count as a rope break for Vok. This was a short match."

[3.0] "The quality of the match wasn't shameful, but I found it odd to make it a Pure match when a tournament was starting in which neither woman was participating. Furthermore, the match was very short, which didn't give these young wrestlers much time to compete. In-ring quality: 1/4. Stakes: 0.5/2. Justification: 0.25/1. Place on the card: 0.5/1. Suspense: 0.25/1. Bonuses/penalties: none. Total: 3.5/10. Match seen on the ROH YouTube channel."

[3.0] "I've seen enough. Billie Starkz can't wrestle and I'll never understand the worship she's getting from fans everywhere."

[5.0] "Thought this was mostly good but it didn't really feel like a Pure Rules match unfortunately, I am a big fan of Vox's though, hope she gets signed. 2.75 stars"

[5.0] "Another mid match. The two don't hurt that much but the short time and lack of interest have never made this match take off."

[6.0] "Also a decently fun kickoff match. I hate how Khan semingly has dropped Billie, especially looking at where she was like a year ago"

[4.0] "It was a match. They had a 10 minute time limit so they had to get evereything in. Billie's still very young and very green, but she's getting better with every match. Vox is OK herself. They were both just going through the motions/spots/script. It was... a match *shrugs*"

[5.0] "Well it was a pretty decent showing from both women. Billie showing some great heel work as she basically ignored the pure rules and broke them near the end of the work. She showed some solid technical wrestling in the few sections they had. Ashley Vox was okay I guess she had some decent grappling and got some nice submissions looked in at points. Overall a pretty meh match but there was nothing that was really that bad so it is probably a round about 5/10. I did like the fact Billie was still the underdog in this match as she isn't used to this style and used this as a warm up for the tournament. (**3/4)"
