[6.0] "Match starts off active and fiery and I really liked that. You can feel the animosity. Then, the contest has a bit of a lull period, but I do not mind it, this lull at its worst is about a 5. But, Ray looks good in the lull as she dominated Storm. The match moves out of the slowness and gets viciously exciting. The visual of Storm being tied-up and struck by Ray is awesome. Ray wrestles like a killer during this portion. Then, the match just sort-of ends, as it was getting entertaining. Ray is the dominator in this contest, but it was surprising for it to be such a one-sided squash with a very basic story. Overall, would not watch again, but I appreciate the efforts of Ray & Storm."

[4.0] "One of the most disappointing matches I've seen. Both KLR and Toni are world class wrestlers so I don't know how they could give a match this boring, with a stipulation like that. There was nothing that made me care for their rivalry or the fact that the loser would be humilliated by quitting while everyone hears you doing it, aside from the table spot (a weak one, btw). Such bad storytelling from these two and an underwhelming booking."

There was a solid psychology on top of that, as shown by the brutal finish which I liked very much. My favourite spot was the Frog Splash across the table, it was really cool and well executed like everything they did in that match. It was a million times better than their bad TakeOver Cardiff match and this I Quit delivered. (***¾)"

Also for such a ruthless match, I felt it lacked aggression. But I can understand this match having an appeal to others, even if it was not what I was in the mood for when watching it. It was a good effort."

The finish was excellent and solidified KLR as this vicious champion who would do what it takes to keep her title. Gotta say though, the crowd was average in this one."

[9.0] "I thought this was fantastic and the finish really made me feel bad for Toni Storm while also making Kay Lee Ray look like a star. I know people haven't been super high on Toni Storm yet but she's still really young and I think she'll only get better. Thought this was a great match though. Really was refreshing to see a clean (by I Quit match standards) win from a heel that still made the face look valiant too."

[8.0] "While many felt their match at NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff was a disappointment, this I Quit Match showed the chemistry that Ray and Storm were able to display in their meetings outside the WWE system. Ray was great as the heel champion looking to do whatever it took to keep the title and rule Storm out of contention, while Storm was prepared to take everything Ray gave her until she had to be talked into saying I Quit for her own health. The only letdown was the largely flat atmosphere that has become common with NXT UK."
