[5.0] "Brutus looked pretty good in this one and Hercules wasn't falling apart yet. Herc does some wear downs and then Brutus fights back and gets the win. Crowd liked it. Brutus was getting close to that IC title match at SummerSlam against Honky but they pulled him and put Warrior over instead and the rest is history."
[6.0] "Brutus pretends to be a hair dresser but has craft scissors. The absolute fraud. I actually found myself enjoying this one more than I expected thanks to Hercules working hard"
[4.0] "Typical 80s PPV mid card match.... And it went on far too long. For the most part this match moved at a glacial pace with the occasional flurry of speeded up action. Far too many rest holds. Crowd popped big for Beefcake going over though."
[4.0] "Two big musclemen with limited movesets who WWF kept around for their look (and Beefcake's friendship with Hulk Hogan) had the match that you'd expect."
[5.0] "I remember watching this on Prime Time way back in 1988, but with the WWE Vault YouTube channel putting up the entire event today, decided to check it out as I skipped over it due to lack of a source when doing my 1988 viewing. Neither guy is particularly known for their workrate, so it comes as no surprise that this match wasn't that great. Brutus does the crank headlock and I hate that move. It's stupid and ineffective. Beefcake gets the win."
