[5.0] "The pairing of Uemura and Oiwa really delivers a good and very promising preview of their 1 on 1 match next G1 night. The rest of the bout it's whatever, though. So it levels out and even ends up being less than the sum of its parts, especially with neither Oiwa nor Uemura coming into play in any significant way once they tag out."

[6.0] "Hartley Jackson continues the have the most enjoyable undercard matches of the entire G1 tour. This time, two people tried to lift him and couldn't do it. Oiwa and Yuya did a great job of selling their future match and got out of the way together for the finish. This might be one of the best undercard tags of the whole tour, honestly."

[5.0] "Oiwa vs Uemura is a very enticing bout and they showed some good work together here, both men share some similarities in style but are distinct enough to make a matchup interesting and they primarily both showed their technical chops in this match. Hartley Jackson is a joy to watch as a filler for these tags, and Shoma Kato did his bit to round out this fun encounter. I love watching these Young Lions try their hand against the mass of Jackson, and this was no exception which allowed for a very fun match. Jackson secured the win over Kato with the Jagged Edge and this was match of the night to this point easily, a very strong, if very short undercard tag."
