Jericho pulled off a great move by bringing AEW to his Rock n Roll Rager cruise which was a vibrant atmosphere with a great opener in this championship bout. SCU was booked strong and possibly they had one of the best tag title runs in their collective careers around the North American wrestling scene. Minor production issues aside, the action itself was fluidic and kept at a frantic pace as little to zero dull spots/moments were found here. All four had great chemistry and Omega & Page winning was a great call as their rivalry went to newer heights when they were tag champs. 4 out of 5 stars! |

| 61 | 19.12.2020 | SanPellegrino | 7.0 | I'm torn, I've probably rated this match higher than it should, let me explain that I really enjoyed the match, Adam Page in my mind will be the future of AEW in the long run, not Kenny for my money who's been struggling without NJPW talent imo but that's not to say he isn't still great in ring. The match focused heavily on the miscommunication between the two which is great story telling in the match, both SCU and Omega/Page worked off each other incredibly well. BUT... the reason's I've said I liked the match are also the reasons I think I disliked it, these are the tag team titles and the match always felt as if it was a tag team vs two single guys, now maybe they'll learn to work together but I seriously feel like the tag belts have been done an injustice by taking them off a legit tag team. Having said that I do hope Omega's star power in AEW and the fact that Page is one of the best up and comers will elevate the belt, I also hope they learn to work more as a team. |

Der Aufbau war hingegen mal wieder sehr generisch und ich brauchte etwas, um ins Match zu kommen. Die ganze Dynamik umd Page und Omega fühlt sich halt sehr konstruiert an und schafft es nicht, das Match zu tragen. Solide Arbeit von Kaz und Sky, aber auch nichts, was man letztendlich gesehen haben muss. Trauriger Run! Als Omega das Tempo anzündet, wird es kurzweilig. Page kann in diesem Umfeld immer noch nicht vollends glänzen, aber der wird seine Qualitäten bald unter Beweis stellen dürfen. Hinten raus liefern sie ab, aber liefern auch dann nichts, was ich auf längere Sicht erinnern werde. |

The match finally picked up once Omega started running through his usual array of great moves, and everyone else then likewise picked up their game and started bringing out their own more serious and engaging offence. This resulted in a lot of convincing near falls and good tag-team moves for both teams. If the first half wasn't as basic as it was, and if the second half was 'really good' for more than just the final few minutes, then I would have enjoyed this more. It was at least still quite good as a show opener. ***1/4 |
