Jade Cargill vs. Tiffany Stratton

[4.0] "This match proves exactly why Jade Cargill isn't main event ready. It's a past paced match but it's very sloppy and then just...ended."

[4.0] "It was a match. A short match where both women did their finisher and Tiffany retained rather quickly. SmackDown's women division is so horrendous. Tiffany had one of the worst title reigns in recent memory purely because of booking. And when they finally give her a feud that isn't stale, instead of giving them time to put each other proper, they just get no time to work and are told to finisher spam. Genuinely baffling but at least the match isn't a botchfest."

[5.0] "Pretty fun sprint between these two but never really got the time to breath, they both showed off their finishers and Tiffy winning continued her very boring reign. (5/10)"

[1.0] "Extremely short match that showcased all the big moves between the 2 wrestlers, clearly they are still not trusted to work long matches so this served them well as anything longer would've turned the match from okay to bordering bad or terrible, but this raises the question that if you don't trust your champion to have a decently long match at a PLE and have the challenger who you've built up as this powerhouse to also have a decently long match then why push them in the first place, both Tiffany and Jade are way out of their depths respectively, Tiffany has had the worst modern day women's title reign I have ever seen, and she's only still champion because Jade is just equally as bad in the ring and smackdown has no one right now to dethrone her, Bianca cannot come back faster and save this division"

[4.0] "Just OK spotsfest lacking tension contest between Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill, two of my least favourite wrestler in this huge stage, so laughable. Fuck both overrated IWC bitches, I am very sick of both rookie Hogans, them representing in the top of women's division made the product irrevalent as ever. I want other more talented and more interesting ladies in those spots instead of both overrated Hogans. [**]"

[5.0] "what was that. that is, you first show jade as a very strong character who practically never loses and then destroy her in 7 minutes after the first and only finisher. and I'm even glad that she didn't win (although tiffany has no more opponents on sd but anyway) but it would have looked better in at least a 15 minute match. But still, the women showed themselves well ( for 7 minutes).even jade, who seemed to be able to do practically nothing. 2.75 / 5"

[5.0] "A surprising one for me as I was convinced Jade was winning and to lose clean in 7-odd minutes caught me by surprise. The match was fine but the fact that such a brief match still managed to be a bit sloppy shows you that both these women need leading by the nose and that perhaps a combined 7 years experience doesn't particularly lend itself well to a Summerslam main card."

[5.0] "It's Tiffy Time for Jade Cargill. People hating on Cargill need to chill. I didn't see her actively botch anything during this match. She's fine. But this match was short and not very competitive. There just wasn't much of a story here."

[7.0] "[6, 5/10] - A good match with strong pacing and energy, even if not every moment hit perfectly. The crowd stayed invested, and the performers delivered where it counted. The decision to have Jade lose was the right one--she didn't need the win here, and it helped elevate her opponent while keeping Jade protected. A smart booking call in a match that held its own on a stacked card."

[6.0] "Although some moves were a bit botched, I did quite enjoy the match, which I believe should have lasted longer."

[4.0] "It's a fine enough sprint between both women, but there wasn't anything too exciting about it and it truly showed that Jade is far from ready to be world champion in WWE just yet."

[5.0] "Very short match but maybe it was for the best. I don't think both are strong ring generals at this point in their career so it was rough having them go out there working a babyface vs babyface match with not much heat. This isn't something I'd want to see ran back again"

[5.0] "This wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I don't want to say my expectations were higher, but I definitely expected something to happen. Instead, this just felt like a random SD! match with a shockingly clean finish. I do think most people will underrate it, as boring is almost worst than bad, and that's kinda what it was."

[2.0] "Full of botches, both as green as broccoli and it's hilarious to me that this match would have been rehearsed to death and it was still so appalling. I know I bang the 'Jade Cargill is awful' drum but she's been wrestling on TV for 6 years now and is no better than the day she started."

[8.0] "This match had a great sports feel. These ARE the top two women on Smackdown and they beat each other up for a while. Yes, the pin off jaded was tough, but there were much worse spots of the weekend and it makes a lot of sense for Jade's character. If there was more story leading into this match it could've been amazing."

[2.0] "This was a pretty terrible match. Both Stratton and Cargill looked like they were wrestling their second or third match of their lives. Not a single memorable moment and just an overall waste of time."

[3.0] "When the "veteran" in a world title match only has four years of experience, you know the bout will be carried almost entirely by the agent's work. Whoever laid it out clearly packed in a lot of flashy spots to mask the overall poor performance from both women. The result was sloppy, over-choreographed wrestling, with both more focused on remembering the next move than on reading the crowd."

[2.0] "An ultra slow match. It makes me angry that people defend someone who doesn't even know how to wrestle or move in the ring. Thank goodness Tiffany retained, at least she knows how to move and she did all the beautiful things in the match. Jade shouldn't have come to WWE in the first place, and just because she's improved (very little) doesn't mean she deserves a title, because she's still a bad wrestler, and I don't want to see bad wrestlers as champions (there were some, but I never supported them)."

[5.0] "**1/2 (05/10) Tiffany/Jade truly surprised me a ton, and not in good ways. Although, given how it's been recently speculated that Jade is not all that serious about her wrestling career, maybe this is a point proven that this is what happens when you don't give it your all in this business. For a couple of years she was getting pushed as the next real deal in the women's division. And if she lost you weren't seeing her take the pin. And if she won, she was doing so in minutes. Even leading up to SummerSlam, Jade was owning the women's roster in runs of dominant matches. So, the fact that she ate the pin in seven minutes! Seven minutes, which that's gonna do wonders for Tiffany. As for Jade, well, remember what I said about Karion Kross?"

[6.0] "The lack of build ensured the ceiling above this matchup's head, but I thought they made the best of a bad situation. As a babyface match between two inexperienced wrestlers, they leaned on their (literal) strengths, trading bombs in an offensive shootout. The results were very respectable, keeping things light and producing excitement in the process. ***"

[6.0] "This match was actually a lot better than I expected, and it was MOTN to this point of the card. I also think Tiffany was the right winner."

[2.0] "Overly choreographed and messy. They don't really build up to anything more than the finish, that's logical but poorly executed. And the path getting there is so all over the place. No real fire from either one of them, Stratton may be the least bad one in terms of performance, if only for showing some urgency around the end and some better mechanical execution."

[1.0] "This match got less time than Kross Vs Zayn match. Tiffany is not very good in ring and Jade is just awful but they can put on a decent match if given time by management. However we got a very rushed forgettable match"

[6.0] "Not expected a great match of these women's, but I liked how they build this. Not so long and Cargill with Tiffany shows a clean wrestling without bothes. That fact is impressive. And I like that Stratton won, because Jade isn't ready for championship."

[4.0] "What's the point if it's only going to be 7 minutes long. Maybe stop advertising everything and give the women's title match another 5 mins at least."

[6.0] "Probably Jades second best solo match, I preferred the one against LIV in Italy, but this was really good."

[8.0] "Could have went longer for me to be honest, both capable of some pretty decent stuff. Surprised that Stratton kept the belt but it's a bit too predictable having both "monarch of the rings" win again at Summer Slam. Overall it could have been loads better but still pretty good"

[4.0] "Bah really nothing incredible, the problem of this match was two thing first Jade Cargill who wasn't the best choice to put against Tiffany, second the match was so short."

[4.0] "A satisfying match. Still a bit sloppy at times, the pace fell off sometimes too but it was still enjoyable."

[3.0] "Short, sloppy and disappointing topped off with an awful finish where Tiffany no sold everything and just won. Not a good match at all. No rivalry or intrigue to save it either, just a waste of time really."

[3.0] "What a missed opportunity in this match. Jade Cargill was built up as super powerful, and she loses easily. Weird to have built her up like that. And the ending where she puts Stratton's leg on the ropes? It's just a joke. A big joke."

[7.0] "Honestly this match is really good. Was is a banger. No. Could it have been longer. Sure. But I liked what they gave us"

[5.0] "They had the match they should've. Just traded moves. Not anything too memorable but if they tried to have a match any different than that it would've gone much worse."

[5.0] "A better match than I expected it to be, but that does not say much. I really thought that Jade was going to win the title so this was a good shock moment by WWE (at least for me). Tiffany Stratton gave Jade a decent match so bravo for her and I'm glad her reign gets to continue. Hopefully they begin to book her right."

[7.0] "Definitely Jade's best match since debuting in WWE. Great work from Tiffy as usual, but unsure why she went over."

[5.0] "Exactly what you would expect from these two. Tiffany is a mirror who works on the level of her opponent. Cargill is the same just more hit or miss. So yeah, they did the right thing, 7 minutes, play the hits, get in and get out. Also I feel really bad for Jade, her crowning moment at Saudi was in dead silence and what would have likely been a championship moment into a white hot storyline with Naomi just led to her losing."

[5.0] "This, like every other Jade Cargill match, was just MID. While I was surprised (and happy) that Tiffy Time continued, the match going only 7 minutes is crazy for a world title match at the 2nd biggest show of the year. Jade still needs a lot to learn. **.75"

[6.0] "Tiffy Time is so yesterday. She seemed more interested in covering her tummy than putting on a show. There's no way she's a better wrestler than Jade... (Cardi B musta been mad disappointed)...but Tiffy is doing makeup commercials now, so I guess "money talks..." Big props to Jade and her outfit designer...That Jamaica gear was absolutely lit! SOME GIVE JADE HER FLOWERS ALREADY..."

[4.0] "Not much about this match was memorable except the ending. Overall the match was nothing special but it served it's purpose. Both women had good pace but they also didn't do much. Both women did all the moves they are known for doing at random points, and Tiffany won. I'm wondering why Triple H is so nervous to take the title from her. She has been Champ for long enough and it seems like all her opponents are adequate people to take the title, but Tiffany just wins. The match wasn't notable but also wasn't bad. 4/10"

[4.0] "This happened too--and there's not much to say. The seven-minute runtime was probably for the best, as the babyface vs. babyface dynamic made it hard to get emotionally invested. It wasn't bad--actually, it was probably one of Jade's better singles matches--but still felt completely forgettable. Going in, I wasn't sure if it would be a trainwreck, and it wasn't. That said, for a main title match at SummerSlam, it felt no bigger than something you'd see on weekly TV."

[6.0] "What can I say? I liked the match with Naomi at Evolution more because of the stipulation. Jade has improved enough to be seen in these spots, but not enough to be a world champion. Tiffany still has her edge, but Jade shouldn't be a world champion because in the ring she's still limited, with zero charisma and personality."

[5.0] "A pretty plodding and disappointing match with a few botches and something that could of been done on TV. The rope break spot was so rough and hard to watch and the finish looked rough to get and Jade was no real threat and was taken out of the Naomi story after beating her for no reason. Please make Tiffany a heel again for the love of god. (**3/4)"

[7.0] "Confused by the booking but thought the in-ring work was really solid for as long as it lasted. Jade is better in shorter matches anyway."

[6.0] "About as good a you'll get with Jade cargill in a singles match, Tiffany hasn't lit up the world but she's still showed glimpses of someone who can be a top top woman for years to come"

[6.0] "Probably my favorite Jade match since she joined WWE. You'd think Jade was going to win but Tiffany ended up pulling out the win. A good finish with Tiffany getting her foot on the rope, and then countering Jade's move for the win."

[5.0] "It is mid at its best.The match didn't have any hype and is very forgettable.The match had a wrong winner too."

[8.0] "I can't believe I'm writing this, but i loved this match. I'm a big hater of Jade Cargill, appart from her two matches with Naomi, that were alright, I hated everything she did since arriving in WWE. So, even if I like Tiffany a lot, I was expecting a trashy snooze and botchfest. But I got a really solid, short and sweet championship match. And even if I'm getting bored a bit because nothing is really happening with Tiffy's reign, I can't explained of relieved I am to avoid a Jade Cargill world title reign."

[6.0] "I was expecting an industrial disaster, but it was good overall, but not exceptional, so a mea culpa. However, 7 minutes of match for the women's championship is a load of bullshit, even more so at Summerslam. Cargill's push is dead and buried."

[3.0] "7 Minutes of void, they went from spot A to spot B with nothing in between, no music between the notes no selling no psychology NOTHING. The foot on the rope spot was so ridiculous and so badly executed it was insulting our intelligence"
