Hartley Jackson & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Rocky Romero

[6.0] "TMDK vs. Don Callis Family is a pretty good prelude to ZSJ vs. Takeshita in the G1 Climax. But Romero and Jackson also delivered some good wrestling in that match."

[6.0] "Fun tag match , not very Zack or Takeshita heavy which is weird , but lots of rocky and Hartley Jackson"

[5.0] "Solid opener, but Jackson and Rocky made it work, even though they are worlds appart. But a slow and limited preview for one of the most anticipated matches of the G1"

[6.0] "They keep making Hartley look good, so I am sure he will be fed to the Openweight Champion or something. The majority of this match was Rocky Romero. If you don't like seeing him work, over half of this match is him taking all the damage from Sabre, so Takeshita didn't have to. Rocky got a shot to beat Hartley too, just like all the young lions this tour. Fat guy killed him though."
