[7.0] "Paxley smacked Zaria in the mouth, prompting Zaria to chase her around ringside. Dame took advantage, hitting a Sky High for two when Sol got her foot on the bottom rope. Dame followed with a spinning slam, but Sol fought back with a missile dropkick and a hurricanrana on the floor. Back inside, Sol landed a running knee for two before Dame countered with a slam into double knees and a backbreaker. Dame stayed in control with heavy strikes and a splash in the corner. Sol rallied with elbows and a flying clothesline, then hit a Backstabber and a springboard somersault clothesline for nearfalls. Dame blocked a top-rope move and hit a Codebreaker for two. Sol slipped on a top-rope exchange but recovered quickly to hit an X-Factor. Dame answered with a dropkick to knock Sol out of the ring, then brought her back in for a Chokeslam and a Cutter variation for another two count. After Sol's superkick, Dame tried a top-rope slam, but Sol flipped to her feet and hit a Spear for two. Paxley placed Dame's foot on the ropes to break the pin, so Zaria Speared Paxley on the floor. Dame hit a slap, but Sol avoided a clothesline and nailed the Sol Snatcher off the ropes for the win. A good, hard-fought match that exceeded expectations. There were a few rough spots, but both women held it together and delivered an entertaining performance. Dame continues to improve with her power-based offense, while Sol's athleticism remains a standout. The Sol Snatcher, this time hit off the ropes instead of the corner, looked spectacular as always and capped off a fun match. ***1/4"
[8.0] "The result was predictable, but this was still a really good match between both women with such good in ring work and chemistry between each other, Izzi gave her best singles performance so far, the shenanigans between Zaria and Tatum added to the match and it's another good win for Ruca."
[5.0] "Not sure what people are seeing in this one, really botchy match that looked incredibly cooperative. Sol is good and her offense is fun to watch, but she can't really carry a match yet and Izzi looked pretty rough out there. Izzi's bumping looks totally off and incredibly awkward, made Sol's moves look a bit weak. There were some fun spots but not much on the bone here."
[5.0] "The match structure lacked anything special, so even if it had gone smoothly, I wouldn't have given it a high score. On top of that, Sol Ruca showed some uncharacteristic mistakes and executed a few moves with roughness and lack of fluidity, which makes it impossible for me to give a good rating."
[8.0] "TLDR: flippy fun fest the whole family can gather around. The opening was a really bad decision IMO; this was mainly due to the audience getting an audible 5 count and then its two and a half before a rope broke break to kick off the match, but when viewed as a meta commentary of 2017 NXT it works a bit for me. Regardless of that this went a million miles a minute, too many moves to name them all, and Sol Ruca continues to demonstrate why she's Shawn Michael's self insert character on NXT. Izzy Dame can't be overlooked, she played the evil flippy powerhouse extremely well. Maybe they knew they had to put the bad booking decision in the start so fans could forget about it with the incredible match, but that's my only meaningful complaint."
[5.0] "I like Sol Ruca. She has charisma, obviously an incredible athlete and I think she'll have a great career. That being said, she may be the most overrated wrestler on the planet right now. She's great for her level of experience, but her matches feel so disjointed and spot heavy. She feels too showy for me to really get into. She can be really great with a good opponent but that wasn't the case tonight. **1/2"
[6.0] "Enjoyable match with some awkward moments. Could have been better from both women with Izzi performing the better of the two but I'd understand If Sol Ruca was conserving her tank somewhat considering this would be her 2nd of 3 high profile matches in as many days."
[8.0] "Izzi's best match so far. She's really improved and is the best part of The Culling. This match had some scary moments, mainly some high flying bits that didn't go 100% as the competitors wanted, but other than that it was really good. I liked the Zaria and Tatum shenanigans on the outside, the story of Sol getting her foot on the rope and later Izzi doing the same to avoid being pinned, that was a fun little thing. Really enjoyable and Izzi looked better than ever."
[7.0] "Better than expected and surely Izzi's best singles match to date. Sol's fun put probably not good enough (yet) to carry someone, so props go to both ladies. I really liked the diving lungblower from Dame."
[6.0] "The best Izzi has ever look, enough for me to actually see some potential in her. Sol's innovations weren't as good as usual, but it was good enough. Enjoyable."
[6.0] "Izzi Dame continues to impress me, she's been on a good run recently. Another good performance from sol as well, though she did have a few messed up spots."
[5.0] "I'm using the translation function, so it may be difficult to understand. It was an average game. We didn't have good timing to fill the game. Sol Luka's multiple mistakes were also a negative point.I like Sol Luka, but his high flying moves with poor accuracy can hurt opponents, so if you can't do it well, hold off on him."
[9.0] "I mean... This wasn't the best result that could come outta a powerhouse, Izzi, and a high-flying genius who could also be considered as a powerhouse, but still was soooo fun to watch. The bands hanging off of Ruca's attire was a lil nerve-wracking which I guess caused some overthinking n some miss steps but overall... Man! Ruca is a true diamond in the making, three years in this business and carries out a match spot by spot like it's nothing for her, even tho she looked too exhausted for some reason, but still, she managed to put on a decent fight. She's a gem. The sequences were brilliant, the near falls n spears by Zaruca were actually things of beauty. I'm obsessed with how Ruca moves in the squared circle. Phenomenal. (Actually, I rate it hire than deserved while too many ppl r gonn be cruel and downgrading them like other times...)"
[5.0] "Some impressive spots and Dame actually displays some solid fundamentals and nice strikes, but there's not much glue keeping things together. Both may have super high ceilings but aren't being done any favors working out the kinks under such a spotlight."
[10.0] "The Sol Ruca vs. Izzi Dame for the NXT Women's North American Title at The Great American Bash 2025 was a fast-paced, high-energy battle that was a high-octane duel blending technical prowess and aerial artistry that showed just how stacked the NXT women's division really is. Sol, backed by Zaria, brought her usual mix of flashy athleticism and explosive offense, while Izzi, with Tatum Paxley in her corner, matched her with power and grit. Sol sealed the win with the Sol Snatcher in a great showcase for both women."
[7.0] "sol ruca is easily one of the best women's wrestlers in the world. And it isn't just because she can do some cool flips she's genuinely just great man. Her title run has been a bit of a let down and i also think they need to start making some progressions towards the ultimate turn from zaria seems like that is taking forever at this point idk if it'll even happen this year. Izzy isn't completely useless when it comes to in ring work so that's good to know. 3.50 stars"
[6.0] "It was decent, really. Izzi Dame did all the work, but luckily her stuff always looks way more hard-hitting compared to the other members of the women's roster. Ruca made a comeback in the end, she hit some moves that looked....fiiiine, I guess. ATP I'm pretty firmly on the side of thinking the Sol Snatcher looks terrible. Didn't mind this one."
[7.0] "A really fun match where both competitors showcased their talent. Sol Ruca is so good and Izzi Dame impressed me here. I figured Sol Ruca would retain considering Evolution being the next day, but that didn't take anything away from this being a really solid match."
[7.0] "Good match for the women's NA title. A high energy back and forth where both wrestlers put in a lot of effort. Izzi has improved a lot in a short time and Sol is a star in the making. Not much of a story being told, felt like one of those matches where they just traded moves so that could have been better. Sol retains, no surprise there. 7/10"
[7.0] "Izzi Dame's best performance as a single competitor, she looked solid in this match and proved me wrong as I wasn't high on her, but you also have to note that. She was in the ring with one of the most talented wrestlers in general in NXT, in Sol Ruca. Sol Ruca had a marvelous performance. She has been handling a lot of workload, which means the higher-ups look at her with a lot of hope as she's part of the future for WWE. But this match was fun, it was placed at a good spot because the crowd enjoyed this match, and I hope Sol Ruca continues to have this workhorse reign and continues to have good matches."
[7.0] "Izzi Dame has developed really well in recent months and this match is a perfect representation for that, looked really strong and of course Sol was great as always. Some botches in here but that's to be expected. Good match."
[9.0] "Sol Ruca continues to show why she is the future of woman's wrestling. She will undoubtedly compete at WrestleMania and have a storied career. The is also the best I have ever seen Izzi Dame look. If she continues to get better, she has a very bright future ad well."
[7.0] "Wow, just wow. This was a really good match. Sol Ruca gave Izzi her best singles match in NXT. Zaria speared Tatum in half, that was a crazy spear."
[7.0] "[3, 75 Stars] It was much better than Ruca vs. Kelani at Battleground because there were fewer unnecessary flips but I'm still not a fan of Sol's finisher and even of her in general there's still room for improvement to justify what's said about her. (***, 75)."
[7.0] "A successful title defense for Sol Ruca, who is truly shining as a star. Great job by Izzi Dame, honestly, because even though it was completely predictable, this fight was good and it's a defense that, for an event like this, worked quite well."
[9.0] "These two absolutely tore into each other, and it made for a surprisingly intense and entertaining match that got all the right tools from the get go. I didn't expect them to bring this level of physicality, but they exceeded expectations. Sol's Snatcher remains one of the coolest-looking finishers in NXT, and Zaria's spear to Paxley added an extra jolt of excitement to an already strong outing. It would be one devestating output once Zaria and Sol goes their separate ways for their individual titles, but as for now Sol delivered yet another banger."
[9.0] "There were some solid ideas throughout this match, but a few execution issues were hard to overlook. Ruca still tends to do certain moves more because she can than because they make narrative or strategic sense. That said, the match genuinely exceeded expectations. It's clear Sol carried much of the pacing and flow, but Izzi Dame has made impressive strides in a short time. You can really see her growth week by week, and it's great to see her getting meaningful opportunities. I will never not love a Sol Ruca match."
[9.0] "The match was decent, but it felt like Izzi wasn't quite ready to keep up with Sol Ruca's more innovative offense. Sol's usual opponents are typically seasoned or athletic enough to handle her style, but Izzi's still in the developmental stage, so I can't blame her entirely. At the same time, it's up to Sol to adapt to her opponent's skill level and maybe tone down some of the high-risk spots to make things flow better. As for The Culling, they've taken another loss, which makes me think it might be time to move on from this cult storyline, it just hasn't clicked. On the bright side, Izzi has shown some potential with her character work, especially with her recent push. She's definitely got something there."
[9.0] "I really loved how this match kicked off, it's not often you see such a convincing nearfall right at the start. Ruca battled from a disadvantaged position throughout, and just like in the opening match, it paid off. Ruca is definitely on her way to stardom, and Dame looks like she's making great progress too. This match might not have been as sharp as the opener, but it was just as entertaining. Sol consistently shines, and even though Izzi Dame delivered her best singles performance yet, which is impressive given her relative inexperience compared to someone like Evans, the occasional slip in moves actually worked in Sol's favor. It added to the story of her being worn down after wrestling two nights in a row, making the match feel authentic and compelling."
[9.0] "In her first major singles match on a premium live event, The Culling's Izzi Dame put up a strong fight, but it wasn't enough to dethrone Sol Ruca, who retained her NXT Women's North American Championship in the weekend's opening women's bout. Exceeding expectations, the match not only showed Ruca's continued growth inside the ring but also served as a breakout moment for Dame, hinting at her promising future in the division. Having Ruca hold onto the title and keep stacking up championship wins is a smart move, it's building her credibility and setting her up for a smooth transition to the main roster when the time comes."
[7.0] "Genuinely Suprised by this match, but you can see that Sol carried this, but Izzi has truly improved so much, and even in these few weeks she's been doing great, and im so happy to see her get opportunities. Izzi and Tatum Partnership is random but yet so fun, and im still wondering if Izzi is still apart of that Faction with Spears, but she can be a great heel and have a great team with Paxley, and i wonder if they are going to cost them the titles tomorrow at evolution maybe, but overall this match was really good 3.50/5.00"
"(8.5) This Was An Amazing Match From Start To Finish Izzi Has To Be The Most Improved Wrestler This Past YearAnd Sol Ruca Is A Star It's A Matter Of Time Before She Gets Called Up To The Main Roster Overall Amazing Performances By Both Ladies."
[6.0] "This was a solid match between sol and izzi izzi Dame showed that she is a pretty good talent she delivered a solid showing and she showed solid in ring work against ruca . Sol like always put up a good match and the sol snatcher is a beautiful finisher one of the greatest female finishers in wwe. Izzi dame did good heel work working over top on sol ruca , the stuff with Tatum and zaria kind of took away from the match but did it's part in playing shenanigans to further up the intensity of the match. Zaria might turn on sol eventually and I think she will be the next north american womens champion."
