22 | 19.07.2025 | ayoreloaded | 8.0 | This was so amazing to see, a slow burn, "old-school' tag team match, turning FTR back heel is honestly one of the greatest decisions from AEW, they just work way better, the little things that they do to cheat just flow perfectly rather than an obvious ref bump. Going into this match it's obvious you'd think that FTR would win but as the match keeps going on and developing you start to believe that the outrunners could actually win the match, which is what the whole face vs heel thing is about. Really well grounded match that subverted all my expectations. One of my favorite tag matches ever and won't be surprised if it's the Outrunners best match ever in their 40+ year career. 4 and a quarter stars. |

24 | 15.07.2025 | Mizzle Assault Ant | 10.0 | Doubling back to talk about this match, since I didn't write it up yet... wow, did this overdeliver or what? I've enjoyed the campy fun of the Outrunners since they showed up but they weren't a team I was taking very seriously, and that's ok, some acts can just be fun. Pitting them against former friends FTR made a lot of sense, as their attitude has turned bad their relationship was clearly soured so why not have them fight it out? Good heat for FTR as well. This could have easily been a squash but instead we got a sleeper hit, this match rocked. I give tons of credit to FTR, they structured the match expertly with their old school mindset to maximize pretty much everything that happened and the crowd responded beautifully, but you can't overlook the Outrunners giving their all here, quite literally a bloody good underdog performance that established them as a tough threat beyond their somewhat silly presentation. Just a top tier TV match, this is the kind of thing I love to see. |

I just loved everything about this one. FTR's incredible heel work as they're a GOATed tag team, Outrunner's amazing underdog performance, the atmosphere of the crowd... everything just clicked, man. The punches looked beautiful, FTR's antics to stop the tags were awesome, when the Runners were finally able to do the hot tag, the pop was just phenomenal. Everything was produced the right way. The Shatter Machine nearfall is one of the best things of the year, I popped so much. Finish ruled too. Just a damn good old-school tag match that just made complete sense. |

What FTR and Outrunners did here was impressive, amazing match, I loved the violence of this, the match had several incredible strikes, masterful punches and chops, and of course, the blade job was tremendous, FTR dominated a large part of the match, with the blade job and the limb work on the leg, but Outrunners managed to comeback later and almost won it, there were several nearfalls, including an awesome one with the shatter machine, unbelievable moment. After a lot of near finishes, FTR won the match without a lot of emotion, but the right amount for a weekly show - {****} |

The Spin Video Transition Edit Lock-Up: Dax backs Turbo into the corner. Dax talks trash, Turbo responds and Dax backs off. Dax cheap shot after corner break Turbo no sells it a bit and starts punching back Breaks down and all 4 come in Outrunners hit double back body drops and double clotheslines Truth Magnum spins and flexes, while Turbo is more stoic Dax coming over to bicker with Schiavone and ask if he's smiling Dax with a dirty break slap to Truth Magnum and then runs away from him to lure him for a bulldog from behind from Cash Cash choking Truth against the ropes Truth biels Cash and then headscissors series to him with taunts at the top peak Outrunners tag gut shot knee to face back body drop to Cash Cash yanks Turbo into an apron punch from Dax Dax snap suplex and snap leg and elbow drop and chop to Turbo Dax raking Turbo's face Dax Abdominal Stretch with Cash holding onto his hand for leverage from the apron cheating Turbo catches Dax for 3 seconds in a small package but the ref was distracted by Cash Dax levels Turbo with a lariat Turbo suplex to Cash before hot tag to Truth Truth firing punches and dropkicks and stinger splashes at FTR Turbo bulldog to Dax white lariating Cash They go for the Double Bicep but Cash Wheeler breaks it up Back from commercial break, Da is pummeling a bloody Truth Magnum in the corner and Cash Wheeler tossed Turbo into the barricade, and then shinbreakered onto steel steps Dax grabbing Truth by the head and shouting YOU DID THIS! At him before dropping him with a brainbuster Truth is desperately reaching up to no one for help, reaching to the wrong corner Cash catches Truth with a Steiner Powerslam. Truth weakly kicks out Truth desperately trying to reach the one-legged Turbo. Needing to take a break after kicking Dax in the face to lie down. Truth upkicks Dax away and dives for the hot tag right as Cash yanks Turbo down off the apron slamming his injured leg down onto the arena floor, before sending him into the steps. Cash then crushed Turbo's leg into the steps with a jumping knee drop. Dax punching and chopping the bloodied beaten Truth in the corner FTR with the Double Randy Orton Rope Draped DDT Cash tries to pin Truth with 1 foot on his chest while smiling at the audience Magnum nails a bloody headbutt to Cash Wheeler knocking him off the top rope, before hitting him with a diving crossbody Tubro is back on the apron slapping the buckle getting the fans to wake Magnum up, but Cash Wheeler runs over on the apron to intervene again. This time, Turbo holds him off with a barrage of punches to the face, knocking him all the way to the other corner. When Turbo reaches the corner, Dax pushes him off the apron, but then Magnum rolls Dax up for a school boy and a 2.9 count. Cash lifts Magnum up for a high cross release powerbomb and Dax catches him in a neckbreaker on the way down for a 2 count. The crowd erupts when Magnum fires his shoulder up. The crowd is now chanting OUTRUNNERS! Dax misses Harley Race headbutt off the top, Turbo is slapping the buckle again, and Magnum dives and hits the hot tag finally Tubro is leveling FTR with punches while limping and grabbing his leg, even holding his leg while flexing during his fire up. Turbo goes to slam Cash, but his leg buckles and gives out on him. Cash starts hammering clubbing forearms into his back, then hits the ropes to get momentum and Turbo fires back with a lariat leveling Cash to the ground. Cash is shaking his head and waving his arm, clearly rattled. Turbo looks angry. Turbo successfully lifts and slams Cash this time, but falls to his knees still Turbo is shaking, firing up, and looking for Truth. Truth crawls over on his knees to connect with their double bicep you son of a bitch taunt that the crowd chants along with. They pull each other up, and then drive their elbows down into Cash Wheeler. Cash kicks out of Turbo's cover at 2. Cash dragon screws Turbo's leg Turbo is holding off a 2 on 1 FTR attack on the apron before sunset flipping into the ring pulling on Cash Wheeler, who is holding onto Dax Harwood to fight it off. Truth Magnum runs up from behind and leapfrogs over Cash's head and slams down on his and Dax's arms, sending Dax off the apron and Wheeler backwards into the roll up Weak looking kickout from Cash because it looks like Turbo just let him out, but when Cash goes to attack Truth, he ducks, and Cash decks Dax, before getting school boy rolled up by Turbo for a 2 count When Cash gets up Turbo lifts him up in the air by his legs and Truth jumps up to grab his head and they smash Cash with FTR's Shatter Machine finisher! The fans pop HUGE. Turbo crawls over into the cover, but Dax breaks it up after 2 Truth and Dax are having a chop trade from kneeling to standing. Dax Suplexes Truth over the top rope dropping him to the floor! Cash does a sunset flip entrance over Turbo's back to get him turning around and setting him up for the Shatter Machine and the 3 count. Cash looks annoyed and angry during this pin, a much different expression from when he was trying to pin Truth with 1 foot earlier. |

They are a standard of excellence, if you can't have a good match against them, you just aren't good. The Outrunners can't be as good as FTR but this is clearly their best match ever, if you doubt their talent, this is the reference you need to watch. Overall an excellent TV match. |

70 | 10.07.2025 | BasuraNocturna | 8.0 | Great 80s tag team wrestling in a way that feels very earnest. It is structurally so solid that people belived some of the nearfalls without any finishers being done. It followed a classic formula, but it was so well executed. The heels on their backfoot on the shine, begging and unable to get ahead until they take advantage of cheating and number superiority. With all the odds being stacked against our heroes (the blood Magnum is gushing, and an excellent targeting of Floyd is accompanied by a just as excellent limb-selling job from Turbo Floyd), they put in a valiant effort, but it is still not enough. Great stuff, really commendable. |

88 | 09.07.2025 | EmoForkliftDriver | 8.0 | This was classic tag team wrestling at its strongest. I was very interested in seeing what The Outrunners did here to garner such high praise from the IWC and this match made me a believer. As much as I love the gimmicks I've never been impressed by what Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd have done in the ring but paired with one of the best tag teams of the last decade in FTR who also know the team very well, they worked magic. FTR felt rejuvenated in their heel roles, once again feeling like that throwback heel team they felt like on NXT. They dissected The Outrunners here, working Floyd's leg throughout the match and giving Truth a crimson mask that beautifully seeped into his bleach blonde hair. This highlighted both FTR's skills as a tag team and Outrunners killer babyface heat. Outrunners barely had to do anything except give the crowd hope that they'd pull off a miracle and the crowd did in fact eat it up. A masterclass in the basic of tag team wrestling done incredibly well |

Easily the best Outrunners match of their career, while FTR added another notch to their legacy as one of the greatest tag teams of all time. (****1/2) |
