Chase Owens, Don Fale, EVIL & SANADA vs. Tiger Mask, Togi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma & YOSHI-HASHI

[1.0] "It's a group of old tired men taking on house of torture, it was obviously never going to be good. Despite the age and ability of everyone involved I still somehow think EVIL is the worst of the bunch."

[4.0] "It's beyond me how they were able to pull out a match which is worse than the previous 3, weak matches. Boring and with yet another bullshit ending. **"

[5.0] "EVIL and Tomoaki Honma had some fun spots in this match. Ostensibly this was a tag preview for the G1 qualifying clash between Chase Owens and YOSHI-HASHI. But other than the post-match beat down and some brief in-ring moments, they didn't interact too much."

[4.0] "Worst HoT match of the tour. It felt very slow and dragged out a bit. It just was nothing notable..."

[2.0] "Here we had to put up with not just regular House of Torture, but Chase Owens and Don Fale too, so as much as I love Tiger Mask and President Ace, this was always going to be a dud. Honma and Fale are still painful to watch, SANADA just seemingly has no drive or passion for the sport anymore and even my king Dick Togo could not save this. It is worth mentioning that the HoT antics are not unique, they have been utilised by GBH, Suzuki-Gun, T2000, etc. But it also has to be noted that the sheer quantity of terrible wrestlers and wrestling currently in HoT is astounding. I do not want to be a joyless complainer, but while there were some fun moments like a Tiger Mask tope suicida, this bout did encapsulate a lot of what I really hate in NJPW right now. The finish came with a powder attack from Dick Togo to Honma followed by an Everything is Evil from the man himself, and this just felt so deflating."
