Big Van Vader & Crusher Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Koji Kitao & Riki Choshu

[6.0] "Pretty cool match. Highs include Chosu overall and his interactions with Vader. Lows would have to be Kitao who, at times, seemed to not be on the same page as his opponents which led to a few botches. Enjoyed this one. (***1/4)"

[5.0] "One of these is not like the others! I don't have much experience of Koji Kitao matches, but bloody hell he was awful here. When he's in the ring he does some kicks and little else, botches most moves and his selling is woeful or non-existant. He reminds me of El Gigante crossed with Raja Lion. Riki Choshu has obviously been in much better matches and does a good job of putting over his gaijian monster heel opponents here, but it was weird to see him destroy Vader's mask right at the beginning of the fight. It looks like Vader is trying to put it back on but realises it's done for so just chucks it to the crowd. I had high hopes for seeing my two favourite hoss guys tagging together after a lacklustre one-on-one they had earlier, but neither of them seem to have found their stride yet. The crowd seem really into this which helps, but I can't help think how much better it would have been in Choshu was given a decent teammate."
