[5.0] "Probably the worst Josh Alexander match I've ever seen and the epitome of the phrase 'tv match' the hard way gusher on Josh was obviously a botch and the way the bumbled and rushed the finish makes me thing something went wrong."
[8.0] "Un bon combat avec une fin bien appliqué. Le suspense a été présent tout le long du combat. Très heureux de voir que King ne disparaît pas depuis le départ de Black. Je ne peux que donner une bonne note à ce combat principal."
[8.0] "Another great match from this show, this was a very good TV Match. I thought Josh Alexander was going to win, but I'm also glad that Brody King got the win, as he gets a chance to fight for the AEW International Championship."
[8.0] "Another great match between the both of them after their first meeting a couple of weeks back. A good physical match with a great focus on good armwork/selling on Brody's right arm which was them good to see him selling it by switching to his left arm for his power moves. Moment of the match was Josh managing to cut himself open giving Brody a German which made the match even more cool to watch and made the finish of the lariat and Gonzo bomb look even more brutal to watch and it was nice to see Brody pick up a singles W for once. (****)"
[6.0] "I mean this was good but honestly that's all I can give you. King is better as a heel, Alexander is better as a babyface, & the prospect of a face King that looms mountains over a heel Alexander made for an ultimately confused presentation. The raw skill of both performers is obviously enough to bring this past that 5 level where I'd never wish to realistically see it again, but does not touch that 7 level where I'm actively wanting to. The sheer size difference between these two is a strange obstacle to overcome & neither man plays into that aspect very well. Could have been much better."
"Not a bad match, was interesting to see them work the right arm when it's usually the left (except in Mexico). Perfectly acceptable wrestling, 2.5-3/5."
[7.0] "There was no break between this match and the previous one as Alexanderee attacked Cole with Fletcher and King intervened to make the save. The two men then failed security. By the end of the match, Alexanderee was bleeding from the face."
[8.0] "This was a pretty good match! Brody focused on selling his right arm the entire match, and it worked well, in my opinion. Alexander also looked good, and the blood at the end also added a bit more to the match."
[7.0] "This was quite a good match. Josh targets both of Brody's arms in the first half before both guys start trading big moves in the second. Josh's arm work kinds goes out the window in the second half, as he opts for an ankle lock instead, but the bomb throwing here is pretty sick so I didn't really mind it. After all, Josh does somehow manage to bust himself open after hitting a German suplex and that was cool as hell. In the end, Brody picks up the win with a sick piledriver. A little bit wonky storytelling wise, but I still enjoyed this match overall. ***1/2"
[8.0] "I worry for guys not named Fletcher and Takeashita in the Callis family but man Alexander just showing he's a great addition in this match. Brody looking brutal as always, he is a great scary big man. Also Josh looked tough after the busting open that way"
[7.0] "It was a good match but I wish I knew what their plans for Alexander are. It's still early but he's just spinning his wheels at the moment. Brody King is underrated I think because he always puts in maximum effort in every match."
[8.0] "This was a great hoss-off as was their last match, with some good armwork/selling on Brody's right arm, but the highlight was right at the end with Josh getting busted open hardway on his face, which made the finish look gnarly as fuck (which is great for Brody) while coating the mat in blood that unintentionally made the Storm/Mone promo afterwards much more intense visually. So hats off to this match. ****"
[7.0] "Good way to close this week's Dynamite. They had a match a few weeks back so running it back here for the International Title #1 Contenders is a smart move. Ever since Josh Alexander joined AEW he's been good, he also got busted open badly in this match here. Good stuff. [***3/4]"
[8.0] "Total hohes Niveau, ohne Frage! Booking-Technisch darf dieses Match keiner verlieren, da der Weg zum glorifizierten Jobber kurz ist. Sauber gewrestelt, hart und glaubwürdig. Richtig gutes Match"
[8.0] "Really good match! Ending was telegraphed a little because, you know, if they're going all in on the match next week being an international affair, then logic would dictate only one Canadian -- qua Omega -- would be in the match. But that's by the by, Alexander and King are both really fun and talented "big meaty men slapping meat" talents, which is what we all love to see."
[7.0] "Don't love Josh as a singles guy but this was decent enough. Never seen this before but Alexander somehow busted himself open on a suplex, I assume the back of Brody's head hit him in the face."
