[5.0] "I guess it was fine, but I feel very underwhelmed given the amount of praise that this has gotten. For starters they are working a match with no clear stipulation. Is it no DQ? It's like Dpw's relaxed rules? They don't care to explain it. This just puts both performers on and uphill battle to have a good match, given that the spectators don't know what to expect. Before this "decision" to let them fight (but not to much) and the security guards holding the wrestlers the whole thing just feels weird. I've got to admit that Saints initial fire when on top is very intense, but he loses a lot of that just by a headlock Page puts in (which isn't nearly as intensely worked as Saints' own). The intensity just comes and goes in this match. I get that the chair spot looked brutal and I appreciate it, but then it should be the finish. After that kick out, you've got a comeback (with its own near falls) from a man that sells his neck like he can't breathe. Either don't sell it as much or don't have the comeback, really. The actual finished feels like a descalation from the brutal spot. At least is targeted at the same place (the neck), but it is not nearly as impactful. This kinds of things piled up on me, but I can understand that some people have a different taste. Just not my cup of tea, nothing outrageous."

You would think 12 minutes can be a lot but if a lot of that time the two of them are being held apart or the REALLY good spot with the chair on the outside. The shame part is that I thought that spot was so well done it deserved to be in a better match. At least the right person won. I'm really excited if WWE is behind Ethan Page. He deserves it."

[7.0] "There was some weird stuff around this match.I understand security being there before the match, but *during* it? Then once Ava came out and announced "I need a clear winner" - it would've been so much more impactful if she just said "this is now no disqualification" and security left, they continued to be out there though and got involved again. The Twist of Fate spot on the chair was gnarly, they sold it like he hit the crossbar but it looked legitimately like he hit the leg of it. Ricky sold it great, complete with spittle. Ethan continued to target the throat but I don't think he did anything that would've gotten him DQ'd anyway. Good match, just some nonsensical booking around it. Interesting to see where they go from here, I think they're destined to keep fighting over the NA Title for a little bit, at least."

[6.0] "Pretty good match for the NA title. Page and Saints have been going at each other for months now, and here they didn't even wait for the introductions to finish before fighting each other. There were a bunch of security guards at ringside who would periodically try to break things up between them, which I didn't like because it took away from the match every single time. Having Ava come out and tell the ref that there needs to be a decisive winner was unnecessary, should have just made the match no DQ if they were going to do this. Page hitting a cutter on the chair and Saints landing on his throat was brutal, setting the tone for the rest of the match. Page continued to target the throat, Saints tried his best to make a comeback and did a very good job selling that he was hurt. Page gets the win to become the new champion. 6.5/10"

Ricky sold so well that they might just call him up to the main roster after this. lol The brawling was weak in the beginning, but you realize they still had a whole match to do when you finally get to the end. I have to put another 100 characters, so I'll just say that Ethan Page has been a nice surprise in this company. Every match is solid and he has size, personality and a punchable face."

"They fight like Peter Griffin and the Chicken and I am all for it. Unless one of them is getting called up to main roster right away, I think a big blow out match with a "Loser Leaves NXT" stipulation would be a good way to end their feud or put it on pause and let them have an eternal beef even going into main roster"

Ricky Saints, I expect him to try to regain the title or move on to the Oba Femi. But this was a great start, and I love the shock factor."

[8.0] "The shenanigans with the security worked for me, sold the hatred the two had for the other and made it seem like a big deal. The open chair spot was nasty, one of the most brutal looking things WWE has done lately. Told a good story of Ricky trying valiantly to survive but there was no way he was winning after that. Love what Ethan Page is doing. I'd be really interested to see what this version of him does on the main roster and just how many enemies he'd make."
