[7.0] "Goldust was fantastic here, working with an intensity, urgency, and fire that was fitting for the stakes at play (if he were to win, Cody would be rehired). The match carried that element of drama throughout, accentuating the work of both wrestlers. The crowd reacted accordingly to the heel-babyface dynamic, amplifying the drama and the work as well, as they were firmly behind Goldust, which made the momentum shifts that much more significant when Goldust regained control. Although Randy occasionally added urgency to his offense, he primarily focused on slowing down Goldust, which was evident in his pacing; however, I believe this approach actually enhanced the momentum shifts and created a nice contrast, as the crowd erupted for Goldust when he turned the tide. The final third of this match has an incredible false finish where it felt like it appropriately utilized the atmosphere's energy as it culminated in Dustin's final attempt at putting Randy away. Awesome, fiery match that carried grit and drama. ***3/4"

The pacing was very good with a good mixture of outside brawling and basic mat stuff. There were stakes added to it which made it feel more important. Orton played the heel well sneaking out the ring numerous times and also kept on with his slow methodical rate near the middle, but it didn't hurt the match in any way, it worked here. Nail biting final stretch with a few roll-ups and Goldust busting out the Cross Rhodes. Orton did seem to be the obvious winner to keep the Rhodes storyline going, but Goldust made everyone believe he had it, especially near the end. Always nice to see a solid match on free TV, but the only bust about it is that it wasn't the main event."

[8.0] "This match rocks so much. Goldust opens up with incredible fire, as he is trying to win back his brothers job and even sends Orton to the outside to rethink his game plan. The way Goldust fights out of Ortons headlock with those punches to the gut before getting cutoff was a perfect example of him forcing Orton back to the drawing board. The finishing stretch is pretty hot too, and they run back the same RKO to Cross Rhodes counter for a sick near fall. Ultimately Orton hits a RKO to win but this was a nice piece of business.****"

[8.0] "A great old school type match on free TV. Goldust was severely underrated, especially later on in his career. He made for an awesome babyface here against arguably the hottest heel at the time in Randell Keith. They worked a very smart match, putting the story across perfectly, and build to a hot finish. [***3/4]"

Rythm descreased after the commercial breaks, working outside during a long time didn't entertain me. The five last were great, rythme was really good and Dustin did an outstanding job showing is emotions and will to win."

[8.0] "Pretty fun match with high stakes. The fact that this was Goldusts return and that his brother would be rehired if he won the match made this suspenseful. Goldust looked good against the evil Randy Orton here. This was probably one of Goldusts best singles matches in his last years in wwe. Now he and his brother are both flourishing in aew."
