I was afraid that TNA would bury KC Navarro here, but they didn't. It was obvious who would win, but I think that we got to thank Mike for his integrity, willing to show KC's talent and worth inside the ring here, despite knowing who's gonna win it ultimately. KC is slick and clean and crazy talented inside the ring. His mic work/persona display is solid, so are his portrayed emotions throughout the match with his facials AND he can sell moves really good to make his oppenent look strong. TNA kinda degraded him to a jobber, so I hope someone reads this and gets their act together. Don't make the same mistake you did with other X-Division stars like Ace Austing et cetera. Speaking of X Division, it's crazy that Santana could go toe to toe with KC's speed and athelticism. The aftermath was also intriguing hinting at a potential split of First Class in the future."

This was more of a tv match than a "PPV" match. Santana has found himself a good spot in TNA though. There's no room for him in the bigger promotions."
[7.0] "Solid opening match...Mike Santana and KC Navarro put on an enjoyable opener. AJ Francis played the whole fake injury angle removing himself from the match. This was the start of the classic Maple Leafs digs which happened more than once through the night. Overall, these guys worked a good opener and I enjoyed the match. AJ miraculously was healed and attacked Santana post match extending the feud."
[6.0] "Mike Santana always does a good job coming across as nothing less than a badass prize fighter, & KC Navarro does a good job playing the pathetic heel put into a sub-optimal situation. His selling is fine. I almost feel like he got in a little too much offense here & I'd have maybe appreciated a bit more of a squash approach wherein Santana expunges him immediately and demands to face AJ right away, but for what I got here, I was more than satisfied."
[6.0] "If they really are heating up Mike Santana to win the title this year then having in a competitive match with KC Navarro is a very weird booking choice. I like Santana but he always as a habit of wrestling like he is already moving to the next spot before the one ongoing is finished and it not feeling like this is meant to look real. He had his hands ready to catch a boot here well before KC had even raised his leg. We of course get a shit Eddie tribute spot. Post match we get a dumb babyface being dumb which led to AJ Francis getting the jump on. The match was decent enough even if I did find the booking a bit weird. Oh and we got a "This is awesome" chant to prove Canadians really do have low standards."
