Nick Wayne vs. Taiji Ishimori

[7.0] "Another one of the show's best matches right here. Wasn't sure who was going to get the win here, but it's cool that Ishimori got it. He's someone that I feel is a little underrated with the larger Western audience, so I hope people that check this out that haven't seen NJPW will recognize how good he is. I'd love to see him make an appearance in AEW."

[7.0] "Incredibly enjoyable match, Nick Wayne proved that he can sell limb work very well while not slowing the pacing at the same time. It lasted only 10 minutes but they surely put a lot of effort, it would be nice to see a rematch down the road sometime. ***1/2"

He targets the opponent's left arm and neck, removes the turnbuckle pad, applies submissions, and wins. Today was no different. Watching Nick Wayne, who takes a lot of inspiration from him, wrestle as the perfect opponent for Taiji's style was amazing."

[5.0] "***1/2 interesting match, it wasn't quite good but it was very close, good chemistry, interesting sequences, interesting intensity, good rhythm, I think that with a little more time and a more lively dynamic from the start it would have been better, because I think Wayne didn't manage to shine against Ishimori and there were moments where what he did didn't stand out, interesting ending, somewhat spontaneous but functional"
