[6.0] "Solid, but nothing particularly memorable, unfortunately. Really strange to see how Akira's tournament has gone since beating Hiromu Takahashi in a main event match not too long ago. I understand that he likely wouldn't win every match afterwards, but the timing of Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Master Wato beating him directly following that big win is just...interesting."
[6.0] "Yet again a decent fight, some moments were really weird like when Akira supposedly tried to hit a Canadian Destroyer but something went wrong but other than this it was the match you would expect by these two, nothing historical in a good nor in a bad way. ***1/4"
[6.0] "Around a 3.5* level match but all the botches became impossible to overlook. Wato was in his old botchy self here, messing up around 3 spots. He really just ain't it folks. Akira tried but in the end it just didn't quite come off as they hoped. ***"
[5.0] "[2.75*] Francesco Akira did a good job as a heel, but it's still clear that his best matches are when he's the babyface. The low rating doesn't fully reflect the match with Wato, but the excessive number of botches left me disappointed. Wato lacked strength and agility at certain moments, and that was evident in the botches."
[5.0] "***1/4 normal match, slow and somewhat paused start, but they increased the pace towards the end, some interesting sequences, normal chemistry, and an interesting ending with those constant reversals"
[6.0] "I usually brush past mistakes in matches, but Wato seemed off his game tonight. Thankfully Akira tried to make it work and did, but the match still felt off."
[7.0] "The two delivered an excellent match, certainly Wato's best performance of the tournament. I am still shocked by Akira's up-and-down tournament. This Block A is full of surprises."
[6.0] "I have no interest in anything Master Wato does. This match proved this, all the great offence came solely from Francesco Akira which resulted in yet another uneventful match in the tournament. Am I the only one who misses when Wato had blue hair? At least then there was something visually interesting about him."
[7.0] "I am starting to dislike Wato for the simple fact that he is a hand picked jr chosen one, maybe because of how much Japanese fans seem to cheer for him, and he ll get way more time on his matches than he deserves, and way better card positions, when there are way better wrestlers deserving a big permanent push in the undercard (but I guess NjPw wont treat foreigners the same way, in fear of them leaving the company sooner or later... but then you get a situation like Wato winning BoSJ years ago, with Titan carrying 100% of the finals, making Wato s win an embarrassment)... Anyways, this was a good match, and deserving of a 7, Francesco did very well as usual and Wato did ok with his moves here or there, but as said, with this time and on this card position, many other guys can do better than Wato."
