Kevin Knight vs. YOH

[6.0] "Second match in a row where I was expecting more, just to feel a bit underwhelmed. Not really sure what happened here, as I feel like they're capable of better, even with the amount of time they ended up getting here. In any case, a little bit surprising that YOH won here. I thought this would be the time Knight would get his first win, but I'm not mad about it at all."

[5.0] "Some decent selling by Kevin Knight after his previous tournament matches. Other than that, this was fine, but unremarkable."

[6.0] "A decent back and forth battle between these two, they didn't went long and the ending was a simple Bridging German Suplex but overall the action that lead to it was no short of good. For and 8 minutes undercard match that was more than watchable. ***1/4"

[6.0] "A solid match with YOH targeting the already injured knee of Kevin Knight. As Chris Charlton said on commentary, it is unexpected to see Knight 0-3. SINGLES RECORD: YOH 2-0"

[6.0] "Yoh didn't actually suck in this. He got the comedy bit out of the way early and wrestled after that and the match was all the better for it. It's interesting that Knight has the knee injury angle this early in the tournament because you'd have to think that, assuming he sells it well, it'll mean dialing down what he does best long before the tournament ends."

[5.0] "A little lower than some others might give but this match just wasn't anything special whatsoever. I liked Kevin Knight teasing kissing Yoh before putting him into a headlock and Knight selling a knee injury that brings some continuity between his matches in the tournament. Not bad, but not necessarily good either."

[6.0] "Anytime you watch a show like this with ten singles matches on it, some matches are going to inevitably be more forgettable than others. For me the intrigue here came from Knight once again not getting the finish with his big DDT and YOH picking up the win with his old finish the Dragon Suplex. 3 stars"

[4.0] "*** simple match, uninteresting, some interesting sequences, average chemistry, average pace, short duration but adequate for what they did and a simple ending without complications"

[5.0] "Was not bad or good just acceptable, both Yoh and Kevin Knight have great abilties in the ring and everything looks good but this match was not really interesting in a way that you maybe would hope for Kevin going on a losing streak feels like a punishment for signing with AEW but could just be confirmation bias because he is not really a guy I think should be at the top at this point of his career"

[6.0] "Some cool spots by Kevin Knight but that was about it. This could have been a bit better had it not been so low on the card and got more time."

[7.0] "An inverse of Yoh's match from Night 2 with Knight showing him how to sell the leg. Both guys work was strong."

[6.0] "Perfectly fine. We get the obligatory comedy start from YOH before the two guys wrestled a standard 3* match. Not bad at all, just a run of the mill midcard bout. ***"

[6.0] "Nice match between these guys. Nothing really special happened but it was solid. Knights still impressing me in the tournament."

[6.0] "When given good opponents, YOH does 1 enjoyable spot of comedy, and then proceeds to properly wrestle for the rest of the match. When given another guy with a horrendous gimmick like Sho, it's all bad. And this was good! Yoh can wrestle, hopefully we keep seeing this side of him more often."
