Amazing to see zach wrestle for the first time genuinely astonishing to me that he is able wrestle with one leg. A real inspiration to all out there to never give up despite what life throws at you. The match itself didn't need to exceed 5 minutes though. It was just like watching Ricochet wrestle a broomstick, and let's be fair, a broomstick would have been more useful. Gowens' only job was to hit Ricochet with the prosthetic leg and get rid of the evidence. He fails. Ricochet is supposed to be knocked out cold but he's seen trying to push the prosthesis out of the ring. The referee has to pretend he doesn't see the big prosthetic leg in the ring that's obviously just been used as a weapon. Horrible stuff. A post-match save from Mark Briscoe helps set up a future match between himself and Ricochet. Tasty stuff. Zach Gowen being portrayed as some kind of hero and legend of the wrestling industry was just cringey stuff that should be left to TNA. Everything else was good. |

I thought this was a solid match on the card, it felt like it pushed Ricochet even more as one of the top villains in the company. Zach Gowan gave some offense in the match. After the match, Ricochet wasn't done, but before he could do worse, Mark Briscoe came and saved Zach Gowan. A Ricochet and Mark Briscoe feud does entice me. If this is what they're moving forward with, I'm 100% with this decision. |
