Well, if you aren't a dork you already notice I'm kidding, nobody except the huge pro wrestling fan gives a single fuck about that type of classic or even for intergender matches, and in my opinion, the fanbase don't deserve that type of match until they really start treating women like they deserve to be. But well, insane match that you can even think that one of them will die due of the impacts inside and outside the ring"
[8.0] "(Grade:B+/****3/4) A hell of a way to end the gauntlet, Hitokiri/Iyo Sky started off the match HOT! beating up on Pentagon with so much Swagger whilst dealing with so much punishment against him. A shocking ending as well with the final member getting the win of Pentagon!"
[9.0] "Daraus hätte man so viel mehr machen können. IYO damals in einem Gear wie Kari und Mayu das man danach nie mehr so sah. So dunkel, Lack und Leder es hat sicher viele überrascht. Ich verstehe nicht warum sie nicht mehr kommen durften. Hat Stardom es nicht mehr gestattet. Ich werde es wohl nie erfahren. Ich fand dieses Match einfach nur großartig (****)"
[8.0] "[****1/4] Iyo starts the match with a top rope missile dropkick and followed up with a top rope moonsault to the outside. Then she went back into the ring then OUTSIDE AGAIN with a sideway crossbody through the middle-rope. The first 30 seconds and we're already going crazy. The next few minutes is Iyo throwing Penta like a ragdoll with the crowd LOVING this. Vampiro was also horny as fuck for Iyo which was hilariously uncomfortable. Penta finally gets offense by kicking Iyo in the face followed by a dropkick to Iyo when she was running the ropes, looking devastating in the process. More kicks by Penta that sound like whips followed by one of the loudest chops ever. He throws her through like 12 chairs then actually whips and chokes her with cables. The next few minutes here is Penta fucking up Iyo with chairs, slaws on the concrete, and Vampiro came live with how horny he was seeing Iyo getting destroyed. Iyo then comes back onto the roof about 20 feet up and JUMPS OFF TO CROSSBODY PENTA! ? ! ? Penta looked like he got shot with a 12-guage. Both are in the ring trading moves and Iyo hits a Canadian destroyer for the first and only pin in the match for the win. This match was really start stop as it was divided with Iyo dominating the first half, then Penta killing her in the 2nd half. Although really entertaining, this was a case of both workers being ragdolls instead of much wrestling stuff happening, understandable since this was Penta's 3rd match of the night. This commentary was also really bad as the play-by-play guy was completely overshadowed by the horny as fuck Vampiro that got old after 5 minutes."
[6.0] "Had some great spots, but I don't really like the way the match structure, both got a control segment where they would get their offence in, it's great if you see a highlight compilation but when you see the full match it's just focused on setting up these spots and its reliant on them."
[8.0] "Horrible commentary but match was insane. Two really good wrestlers going back and forth. Some insane bumps in this match like being thrown into the chairs and the balcony dive. Both seemed strong in this match making keeping you on the edge to see what happens next. I would recommend this match heavily and the that it is free to watch on youtube. This is how intergender matches should be and is a great case for it in the main stream."
[10.0] "I would count the whole show as one big gauntlet match (as it was also advertised in this way). Hence, this is my review for Pentagon Dark vs. The Black Lotus Triad. Intense match and despite (or because) the enhanced David vs Goliath storyline, it came across as an authentic bout. Surely, it is hard to watch when Pentagon throws or dropkicks Shirai and the others into several chairs - the strength difference between men and women becomes very apparent in these situation. But equivalently, the fighting spirit of the Triad, including facial expressions and acting was incredible. This match is so special in its constellation and so well executed, I want to give it a 10."
[8.0] "A great intergender match between Io and Penta. An insane dive from the balcony. But the commentary for this match is so atrocious that it stands out badly."
[6.0] "This was really good. Shirai starts the match with 3 excellent looking dives. Her control segment is basically just her brawling outside the ring for awhile. It's not the most interesting stuff but it's decent. Shirai looked like a natural heel with her body language and facial expressions. Once Pentagon makes his comeback with that absolutely sick dropkick counter to Shirai's handspring he doesn't hold back. Loved his work on top. The big moment is definitely Shirai's balcony jump and it's beautiful. It's also a refreshing shock to see a match end with a Canadian Destroyer for once. Almost forgot to mention how the commentary was atrocious. Seriously, what was going on there. ***1/4"
[9.0] "Wahnsinnig gutes und stark geführtes Match, dass Shirai wrestlen kann, weiß nun schließlich jeder and die amerikanischen Zuschauer. Auch Pentagon lieferte ab in seiner harten Gangart, was dieses Match noch einmal steigerte. Der Spot vom Dach des Büros von Shirai, WOW. Für mich, das MOTN!"
[10.0] "I refuse to allow the downright disturbingly sexist commentary to take away from this match. These wrestlers were too damn good for me to allow that to happen. As such, I will judge this exclusively on the match itself and say this: WOW! One of my favorite matches of all-time. Hitokiri (Io Shirai) risked life and limb for this one, which is exactly what the storyline and situation called for. Pentagon Dark not only dished out brutality, but was ruthlessly assaulted in a way that I don't think any of us saw coming. My favorite match in Lucha Underground's brief, but incredible history. 5 stars, 10 out of 10."

Io is my least favorite of the trio by a sizable margin, but she's definitely talented and goes very hard here (the balcony jump is nuts. ) I will say though, I normally don't consider commentary in match rankings, but Vampiro's commentary was atrocious and did take me out of it a few times."
[6.0] "I gave this match *** stars out of five. Not as good as Pentagon's match with Reklusa in my opinion. Would love to see them go for a longer match."
[9.0] "A wild fucking ride. Brutal show from both wrestlers. The fact that Io made that big a jump on a show she only ever wrestled a single match for is insane of her."
[7.0] "War natürlich nicht schlecht, aber die Bewertungen sind hier vollkommen übertrieben. Es war ein sehr intensives Match in dem Pentagon sich keines bisschen zurückgehalten hat. Hitokiri war jedoch zu keinem Zeitpunkt ein ernst zunehmender Gegner und darunter hat das Match sehr gelitten. *** 1/2"

[5.0] "This wasn't even a match. More of an angle in a WWE fashion brawl complete with generic heat segments. Io's high spots were cool I guess, but there wasn't much else between them. It was a cool match at the time, but in retrospect this was pretty much nothing of a match."
[10.0] "One of my favorite matches of the year, super pleased to see it appear on the matchguide! You'd never expect the best female wrestler in the world would be matched up against perhaps the hottest luchador in the world in such a unique setting, but I love that it happened. Both Penta and Io went all out and tore the house down to end this amazing episode of Lucha Underground, which I miss very dearly."
