Kris Statlander vs. Willow Nightingale

[8.0] "This was building up to be a GREAT match, but it was cut short by the interference of Marina, which was kinda disappointing. That interference alone dropped my rating a point. ***3/4"

[7.0] "One of the stronger matches on the show. I would like a little more substantial development for the story between these two, but I'm satisfied with what we got here for now. In any case, both women made the most of their time, in my opinion, and they both looked good coming out of this."

[8.0] "This match turned out to be the best pound-for-pound match these women have contested against each other (apart from the All Out brawl). The plethora of clashes and its heavy history added more lore to the amazing counters that happened around the final act, and the first two acts were structured with equally strong offense. Kris suited as the lady with a mean streak much better than being just a competitor. The tainted ending was kind of expected with how pressurized Willow has been over the past few weeks, and I expect a well-laid blow-off once Willow settles the dust with Marina. 3.75 out of 5 stars!"

[8.0] "This was better than their street fight from last year, yeah I said it, I enjoyed this way more than their street fight match from All Out."

[9.0] "Obviously not as good as their genuine banger from last year, but this was a great TV match and once again showed both the strong chemistry between these two and how much both have to offer. I really do think Willow in particular is such a star."

[7.0] "An improvement on this pairing's prior non-stip outings, led by some glorious clobbering. In fact, it feels like a G1 bout at times, with the framework allowing for outright bombs throughout. ***1/2"

[10.0] "How many people watched the full match? This was very good! Willow is deceptively athletic and a great well rounded wrestler and Stat as well. They had great chemistry and both took some bumps in this match. The striking sequences were great, the grapples were great. Stat performed a top rope superplex which was beautiful. They both really gave it their all until the death riders came in to ruin the match like they ruin every other wrestling match. It was great up until that point though. Just rewatch the match and you'll see how great this match was."

[7.0] "A good match between two of the federation's top names. I wonder if it will matter when Moxley loses the title and Willow neutralizes Shafir."

[8.0] "Willow and Stat should have the division built around them. Absolutely incredible match before the finish."

[5.0] "Good match overall spoiled by outside interference. Pretty competitive. Good sequences between these two women."

[8.0] "[4 Stars] I really don't understand how Kris & Willow still haven't got the world title. I hope Willow goes for it later this year and Kris in 2026 because they're too strong. (****)."

[7.0] "A solid singles match, it's basically a no.1 contenders match for the TBS I feel. Kris and Willow are great and had a fun match here, very competitive with both hitting big moves and coming close to winning. Kris wins it after some help from Marina Shafir. I assume she challenges for a title soon, these 2 always seem to be on the cusp and never given that final push to be at the top. 3.5*"

[7.0] "[3.25*] Very fun match. I tuned in temporarily for Collision just to see this match and it didn't disappoint, Willow and Stat are always gold together. I don't mind the finish with the interference from Marina because it keeps Willow protected and develops a story with Stat in a sense of: "did you see that or not? ", an old cliche that can work. Also, they gotta be doing the Mox vs Willow singles match, I'll be very disappointed if that's not the end goal for all of this."

[8.0] "One of the best example matches showing true depth in the AEW women's division. Real good match that heated up as it went on, the crowd getting behind both competitors making it even more exciting. To execute the finish, the ref abruptly left the ring to stave off Wheeler Yuta, who was merely walking up to the ring at that point. This allowed Maria Shafir to screw Willow inside the ring. Otherwise a good match."

[6.0] "This picked up in the second half but the first half was uninteresting, as reflected in the crowd's lack of reaction. The match got better from there and they won the live audience over only to have a screwy finish. There was also a little red spider graphic on screen during this match, which I assume was a Thekla hint."

"Everything was going well until the finale, and the interference. What was that? Both talents deserve better treatment. Good TV match."

[9.0] "Honestly this was gonna be a 10 for me until the Death Riders run in at the end. Amazing TV match from these two that reminded me a bit of when Mark and Jay Briscoe would wrestle each other where there's this sibling-like "I love you but I have to hurt you right now" energy to everything."

[8.0] "Their best match together not involving match. A great showcase to get both back on TV that furthers their friends/enemies dynamic while also furthering Willow vs. Death Riders story. Crowd was hot and the action was really fun. Lots of great exchanges between the two, very well put together. They really seemed to have a counter to every counter's counter. Stat wins following Marina Shafir's interference. 8/10 - 4*/5*"

[8.0] "Willow and Kris make magic everytime they meet in the ring , and while this isnt one of their best, it is still really good , Willow in my opinion is AEWs best in the womens div, while Kris statlander is a stud , and their relationship has been very interesting to watch , the match picks up a lot near the end , but the death riders interference means this rivalry isnt finished, which is good , because i want more from these two"

[7.0] "This was ultimately a great match between these two. The finish was a little wonky, but the work preceding it was great."

[8.0] "A good lengthy match between two talented powerhouses. Good amount of impressive spots and developed their relationship better than the backstage segments lately. The ending was disappointing, but probably the best for the story."

[2.0] "I'm sorry, I don't care how good this match may have been. These two have wrestled each other what feels like thousands of times in less than two years. I simply don't care. It's not a 0 because the effort put forth is there but I'm beyond apathetic with these two in a match together."
