[6.0] "A solid first match for the show, in which both women made the most of their time, in my opinion. I do appreciate Frost getting feature on AEW, though, even if it's typically in a losing effort. She still was presented fairly well against the Women's World Champion."
[7.0] "It's time to stop exclusively using Lady Frost to put other people over. She has a unique look and a cool arsenal and deserves a bit more than she's been getting."
[6.0] "For a surprise contender, Frost had a ton of potential in her arsenal and showed a good bit to prove why she's slated to be in this matchup. Her impressive athleticism and stern attitude paid great benefits of giving Toni a run for her money in such a short sprint. However, it's Toni Storm we're having in the ring, and there was no chance to see her in defeat ahead of Double or Nothing. She did her work, replied to Frost in style, and stayed timeless! 3 out of 5 stars!"
[7.0] "7/10 -- Same thoughts as many others in the comments, a decent match that is most hurt for its short length. Both women gave a good performance, Lady Frost showing off some impressive moves that Toni sold well, and Toni showed off some fun moves of her own. Her post-match work was delightful as always. She's here and she's queer and she's shouting off a balcony where nobody is paying attention!"
[4.0] "Lady Frost's moveset has zero intensity and looks bad majority of the time and it is no different in this match. Toni's style doesn't match at all either. Match was pretty mid or bad throughout, crowd was hot for it though which is why I give it a 2.75."
[7.0] "Fun sprint but that's all that it was since they have nothing for Toni because she has to wait and do nothing while the men's world champ has his own feud while the owen concludes, goes to show how much of a gap there is between men's and women's wrestling in the eyes of the booker. Toni's promo post match was awesome regardless of that fact. It sucks that one of the hottest acts in the company is doing nothing for nearly 2 months."
[5.0] "I really don't understand why this match exists, in fact this whole series of eliminator matches that Toni has been having lately seems like a very bad and lazy excuse to justify the lack of a title feud for DoN (**1/2)"
[6.0] "Watchable match that was way too short. As is usual with a Toni Storm match this was fun and well paced. Lady Frost looks like a solid worker every time she shows up and I hope we see more of her."
[6.0] "Decent TV match, nothing really amazing going on here but both women did well and Toni was very over, which not everyone was with this crowd. Adam Cole on commentary truly added nothing to this."
[6.0] "Too short to get past a certain score, but this match was really solid. Lady Forst really delivered against the champ and put on a convincing performance. Toni is always great and Frost lots of offence. Nice match with a great post-match promo by Toni. 6/10 - 3.25*/5*"
[7.0] "Toni Storm might be the best wrestler in the world, male or female. She carries herself like a star, stays in kayfabe 24/7, doesn't have social media presence that would only dilute her, cuts insane good promos and can go in the ring in any style or length of match. Lady Frost has also improved a ton since the first time I saw here, getting reps is invaluable for any wrestler. They didn't set the world om fire or anything here but they did what needed to be done. Thumbs up"
[7.0] "Nice quick match. Toni continues to be a massive star, probably one of the biggest on the roster and Lady Frost did well with the time she was given"
[6.0] "Mostly the length of the match making the grade on this one. The action was good, resulting in a convincing submission win for the champ to come out strong after fending off yet another impressive luchadora, Lady Frost, getting some airtime. The Japanese and Mexican promotions have become hyper scouting grounds for the big U.S. companies, the action in the States is going to be amazing for a while. As with most things Toni does, the fans were heavily into this quick affair, ending with a great Backlund-throwback chickenwing that hopefully gets over so it doesn't get the silent treatment like it did tonight."
[7.0] "Quite the fun little opener here for this world tour-esque set of Eliminators Storm is doing. Not on the level of the Aminata & Yamashita matches, but a fun little opener that let Frost show off some slick offense before Toni knocked her down and choked her the fuck out. That chickenwing looked NASTY in the best way, just slapped it on and ragdolled Frost for a bit before wrapping the legs and ending it. The promo after was also just excellent, Toni's mastered being sexual in a very platonic way if that makes sense, and her going out to the boardwalk for the end was a great visual. ***+"
