2 | 17.07.2025 | Styles619 | 8.0 | This was a great match. This was a classic spot fest although I noticed that they took their time with several spots and letting the match breathe, which I appreciated. I like how early on, Moose wanted Alisha Edwards to get the belt for him because supposedly he is afraid of heights. Didn't work out for him because she dropped down and was caught by Moose, only to eat a superkick a moment later by Leon Slater. Speaking of Slater, he takes the award for biggest spot of the match and also the most dangerous. There were several great looking spots in the match, but I want to talk about this one. So Slater went to the top of the platforms holding the Ultimate X ropes and did a dive. The idea was of course to land on everyone below. Only problem is that Slater didn't do just a normal dive, he did a Swanton that transitioned into a 450 Splash. Barely anybody caught him, except for AJ Francis. On the one hand, crappy thing for everyone not to catch him, but at the same time moving the way he did could have hurt whoever caught him. Somehow he made it out of their uninjured and finished the match. The finish itself was creative with Moose spearing Slater right as he was about to hit the ground with the belt. It was slightly mistimed as Slater hit the mat just milliseconds before Moose speared him, but still creative nonetheless. **** |

5 | 22.06.2025 | maven lover | 6.0 | Exactly the sort of action packed affair you'd expect of staff like this. Akeem's contributions are noteworthy & I'd like to see him more in TNA but we probably won't. A particularly unsafe 15/20 foot Swanton 450 spot ends with Leon body-checking concrete below. Immediately after, Leon acquires the belt from the X & Moose fails to spear Leon out of mid-air (even if Moose had succeeded, that still wouldn't have technically net him his belt... stupid, stupid, stupid. Hannifan rambles & stumbles through an attempt at an explanation through the replay package, too, to no avail), essentially botching 2 extremely important spots on an extremely important PPV match, & then going on to complain about fans online later that day. Foolish to rate sub-6 for what this was, but just an awful day for Moose. Stevie Richards was right to state that Slater should trust nobody to catch him like that ever again. |

16 | 11.05.2025 | Prince Osborne | 8.0 | As anticipated every time, Ultimate X has a minimum guarantee of being a spectacle. It was no different here as six diverse combatants stepped in and stole the show easily in front of a raucous crowd at the Galen. Sidney, Vikingo & Leon (most notably) were the highlight-reel performers, while Navarro had his moments here & there. Cardona did great as the opportunist, and Moose looked silly yet cool by feeling "scared" of heights. There were crisp spots that wowed the audience, especially the gravity-defying 450 Senton by Leon that looked risky yet rad. This felt like the perfect podium to crown Slater in a safe & protected way, but the creative found a way to do another screwjob, which wasn't too surprising. It left the door open for no one except Leon to rightfully earn a title match and potentially win it. 4 out of 5 stars! |

21 | 06.05.2025 | Yee I watch wrestlin | 7.0 | it's a great opening match to a ppv. And i get that an ultimate x match whole purpose is to be a car crash. But it felt like this matches sole purpose was being a car crash. Just unnecessary spots all over this match. I hate the ending of the match even more. Moose definitely should have retained like he did my only issue is the garbage dusty finish at the end. Because if my memory serves me right the rules never have been whoever gets the belt to the ground wins the title so why was it here ? Just doesn't make any sense. Slater definitely is the correct guy to take the belt off of moose i can see them having it last until slammiversary. 4 stars |

32 | 01.05.2025 | Maui | 8.0 | Cardona sucked, so was the finish. Since when does the X-Division capturer has to hit the ground with both of his feet? However, when this is a new rule than the execution was botched hence the referee's decision was wrong. But I get it, Moose looks strong and will be chased by Leon Slater ultimately. Maybe this botched ending, was supposed to happen to give Leon Slater another shot at Moose's X-Division Title in a 1 on 1 match. If that's what their heading to, it's actually good booking and storytelling. Good opener with plenty of speed and some sick moves. |

Pretty much everyone got a chance to shine, and Slater did that wild dive near the end which will be the highlight played from this match. |

75 | 28.04.2025 | Jeezus | 8.0 | [4.00/5.00]: A prett great opener. This Ultimate X match stood out from recent editions by blending diverse styles, not just high-flyers, but brawlers and technicians too, creating a dynamic that has been pretty rare for this match type especially. The finish will leave people decided as I believe it looked good on paper but failed in execution. Surprisingly clever for a gimmick that often struggles with creative conclusions. A thrilling opener that proved variety and structure can coexist in chaos. |

89 | 28.04.2025 | richardkingsx | 6.0 | This had been a good match, but Leon Slater not being caught on his insane dive and then the stupid finish forces me to dock points. Up until the last minute or so, this was the typical Ultimate X fun match with big spots and everyone getting some opportunity to shine. |
90 | 28.04.2025 | ChikawaStyle | 7.0 | It's hard to not enjoy a ultimate x match, but Leon splattering onto the floor (off an incredible spot but still) was not fun at all. Even if hes not my personal favorite, Akeem in X division multiman makes a lot of sense, some good little sprints here and there |
91 | 28.04.2025 | GulakBusick | 7.0 | This was a lot of fun actually. Some stuff didn't quite work. Like the finish, where Leon touches the mat before Moose hit him with the spear rather than in mid-air. Also when Reggie came off the X and Moose didn't catch him right. But there were a lot of cool spots and Leon Slater's 450 was insane. It looked like he hit the ground so hard. I was worried for him but thankfully he was okay. Great moment when he got to his feet and went for the title. He will become a champion soon I have little doubt. |
92 | 28.04.2025 | zackbarringer | 8.0 | Awesome Ultimate X! I was really surprised by Akeem's performance here, in WWE he wasn't treated well and he didn't wrestle much but here he showed how good he is and actually i believed he could take it. Leon was absolutely THE mvp, that swanton 450 was INSANE! and him taking the belt but Moose stealing it was just DIABOLIC move from TNA - i think this story will conclude with Slater winning the belt at Slammiversary but still he should've won here. Also i have to praise Navarro, this man was going crazy here and i truly was rooting for him - future champ for sure! **** |
93 | 28.04.2025 | Beamishset619 | 8.0 | my rating for this match is 8/10, my first tna watch in a while and what a match. Was impressed by Akeem and shocked to find out it was Reggie he was great and was the MVP followed by Leon Slater. A few moments were it was obvious wrestlers were just wating around for another wrestler to jump, especially leon slaters jump which was distracting when it was right in your face. The ending spot had the same problem with Slaters feet touching the floor and Moose's spear being to slow. Anyway match was solid and the pros out way the cons. |
