[7.0] "A solid main event for the show. Really weird that Newman won the titles with Jeff Cobb, just for them vacate them after a week since Cobb left for WWE, and then for Newman to win them back with Great-O-Khan two weeks after they were vacated. Just an odd series of events, in my opinion."
[7.0] "Not really what you'd hope for from a main event but it was objectively still good. Good to see Bishamon again and Newman again performed. O-Khan was fine but certainly the least interesting in the match, the guy is a total JAG at this point. ***1/2"
[7.0] "So I think this match was great. At first I thought this match was going to be mid but the last half of the match picks up. I feel like Callum Newman has some good potential and I can't wait to watch his singles match against Goto. The teams had great chemistry even Great-O-Khan. I liked the exchanges of individual finishers than team finishers to win the match. So I have to give it 4 stars."
[6.0] "This match was pretty underwhelming, but I still enjoyed it. I still don't get why NJPW booked themselves into this circumstance. Surely they had to know Cobb was leaving before belting him up."
[8.0] "Of course this match was pretty underwhelming considering the one that took place before but in all honestly it was a good bout stand alone. Newman pinned YOSHI-HASHI which makes a lot of sense and the back and forth in the latter half was pretty great. ****"
[7.0] "Not nearly as good as the tag team match before, but more then solid showings for all four guys. Newman has been getting better, Yoshi did well, O-Khan uses throws too much and Goto is always good. This should've swapped places with LIJ vs Ishii/Taichi but still a fun match."
[6.0] "Good but nothing great. Everyone is on their best behavious and seems to be trying really hard. In particular it's the best that Callum Newman has ever looked, he didn't even do anything in this match that made me mad! It's a match that ends up better than the sum of its parts."
[7.0] "Amazing performance by Newman. Bishamon were great too. It felt a bit flat compared to the last tag Title match, but I'm very happy NJPW is putting so much trust in Newman and having him actually be the one to score the pin for the title win"
[5.0] "Match for the vacant IWGP tag team titles following Jeff Cobb's departure. Solid but not particularly interesting and far too short for my taste. The NJPW tag team division is quite average this year. I would have loved to see Hirooki Goto as tag team champion in addition to his heavyweight title. The Great-O-Khan, in any case, has been tag team champion with three members of United Empire: Henare, Jeff Cobb, and then Callum Newman. With the tag team division being rather weak, I don't see anyone other than TMDK as credible contenders for the titles."
[6.0] "This was a bit of a weird match honestly, not bad by any means and Newman put in a really solid performance, but it definitely felt a bit deflating compared to what had just come before. Bishamon were of course excellent, but I am not totally convinced by the pairing of Newman and O-Khan, they did not have the best chemistry together as partners. A strong match overall if a bit disjointed, but it did not feel like what the belts needed to restore order to the division. Newman got the win over YOSHI-HASHI with the Prince Curse and while this was not a great match it was still quite enjoyable and not bad by any stretch. Worth a watch overall but perhaps not one to actively seek out."
