I feel like Callum Newman has some good potential and I can't wait to watch his singles match against Goto. The teams had great chemistry even Great-O-Khan. I liked the exchanges of individual finishers than team finishers to win the match. So I have to give it 4 stars."

The NJPW tag team division is quite average this year. I would have loved to see Hirooki Goto as tag team champion in addition to his heavyweight title. The Great-O-Khan, in any case, has been tag team champion with three members of United Empire: Henare, Jeff Cobb, and then Callum Newman. With the tag team division being rather weak, I don't see anyone other than TMDK as credible contenders for the titles."

[6.0] "This was a bit of a weird match honestly, not bad by any means and Newman put in a really solid performance, but it definitely felt a bit deflating compared to what had just come before. Bishamon were of course excellent, but I am not totally convinced by the pairing of Newman and O-Khan, they did not have the best chemistry together as partners. A strong match overall if a bit disjointed, but it did not feel like what the belts needed to restore order to the division. Newman got the win over YOSHI-HASHI with the Prince Curse and while this was not a great match it was still quite enjoyable and not bad by any stretch. Worth a watch overall but perhaps not one to actively seek out."
