[4.0] "This happened, I'm almost certain of it. Most of it I think was in the commercial break, but it still happened, for sure. I can't say anything was bad, but it just left so much to be desired and felt flat."
[5.0] "On one hand, Zelina deserved a marquee win like this to prove her upside in the ring & show her passion that's been untapped for a long time. On the other hand, the journey felt a bit sudden and uneven. No disrespect to both women and their in-ring prowess, but it felt like a plodding story for Zelina after defeating Chelsea in non-title situations consecutively, which sounds wildly similar to how Michin had her streak of title matches. I hope this isn't the end between these ladies, as both have the potential to tear the house down in a fantastic entertainer. 2.5 out of 5 stars!"
[5.0] "The match between Zelina Vega and Chelsea Green honestly wasn't that good, but I want to point something out -- Alba and Piper, what are you even doing? Even if it was part of the storyline, it just didn't make sense. First Piper hits Zelina, then while the referee is talking to Piper, Alba hits Zelina right in front of the referee! Then the referee decides to eject both of them. The winner was Zelina -- I just hope she gives us a solid title reign. And seriously, only a 7-minute match for the Women's United States Championship? You might as well have just handed the title to Zelina in the first place. She's already beaten Chelsea twice. Overall, a really disappointing match."
[5.0] "It was a deserved win for Vega, though I think the match was a fun watch, the build made it seem out of nowhere. We need more at stake here, love Chelsea and everything she's doing with the character, but we needed a mirror for her, not just Vega kinda wanting it."
[2.0] "I have no proof of this but the optics of this title win aren't good. It looks like a "Thanks for convincing Black to return" win. The match itself was...a match. Chelsea Green is very entertaining but her in ring ability is lacking. I don't understand why WWE doesn't give the women their own show with all the titles on there. It would give more women a chance to be on tv instead of the same 6-7 people."
[1.0] "This nothing match ended a great reign and reads very much like a favor to Vega rather than anything earned. I cannot imagine any good coming of this for the title, unless there is something in the works specifically to elevate Green immediately in chasing again."
[6.0] "(Grade:C-) I can't understand the complaints for this match, it being shorter than expected. However, I'm happy to see One of the women's mid-card championship is getting some attention and story, special thanks for Chelsea Green elevating the belt and given it some story. I'm thrilled that Zelina won the title and hope they give it some meaningful story going forward."
[4.0] "Just your bog standard match. I can't stand Zelina so a bit bummed she lost to the much more entertaining Green. To do this kind of short, nothing match for a title change is disappointing. And of course we get a bunch of interference too because every match must have interference. **"
[6.0] "chelsea not defending at one single ppv is a disgrace why create midcard titles if they won't be defended in the midcard. i was shocked by the finish, hopefully it helps Zelina."
[4.0] "Okay match for the US title. Didn't expect much from this. The wrestling was whatever, Zelina isn't good and everything she does looks weak. Chelsea didn't do much, getting by with her heel antics. The biggest pop came from Alba and Piper getting ejected by the ref. Shortly after, Zelina hit a sunset flip for the win It's a nice moment for her, not really looking forward to her as champion because she just isn't interesting. Chelsea's reign was fun and should have gone on longer. Oh well. 4/10"
[1.0] "Terrible match, terrible finish, terrible interferences, terrible booking, terrible winner. Nothing about this match made sense. Chelsea & The Secret Hervice took advantage before the ad break and then a small comeback and momentum from Zelina until The Secret Hervice got sent to the back for very poorly executed involvement leading to Zelina winning with a roll up."
[4.0] "[2.0*] Yeah, I like Chelsea so Idk about the title change. Zelina seems like she won't ever be that over and Chelsea had a higher potential of being a fan favorite, but I understand why they'd give her that moment. The match wasn't good tho, but it wasn't terrible either. Just a short, nothing match. Made 100% for the result."
[6.0] "Zelina wins her first singles title, and I wish there could've been a more meaningful build and lengthier match, because you could read it on Vega's face how huge this was for her. The action wasn't bad at all, just short, and the crowd was just getting into it as Vega started overcoming outside interference towards the finish. The finish itself was a little clunky, with clear interference which should've signaled not just Niven's expulsion from ringside, but also a DQ victory for Vega, as unsatisfactory as that would've been. The Code Red that finished Green could've been explosive with a bigger build. For what it was, hopefully it launches Vega into that next layer of competition and credibility."
[4.0] "A very happy moment for Zelina Vega, she worked her ass off to get this moment and I'm glad she's the new WWE Women's United States Champion. But the match itself was very average. There were some good moments when Piper Niven and Alba Frye were greeted with a big pop by the crowd. I think everyone was shocked when Zelina Vega won, but this was a very unexpected title change. But I like the fact that this happened, so we can see fresh matchups and someone who deserves a title run, and I'm glad Zelina Vega is having her time to shine, as she has been underrated for a while now."
[4.0] "Good moment for Vega but I question the booking as Chelsea had been having a great reign and they had really just added Alba Fyre. In the ring it was pretty average with the Secret Hervice getting involved quite a bit and the finish seemed very odd."
[5.0] "Such a special moment for Zelina Vega in a pretty bad fight, really. Chelsea Green's story with her two safeties isn't bad, but it was a bad fight really. However, here's the Zelina reign that so many people were hoping for."
[4.0] "Poor match, poor finish, wrong winner. This was a so poor and these women's mid card titles are starting to look like nothing but filler on the card. No energy is being expended to get the matches or stories to a high standard and ita hurting the shows and the wrestlers."
[4.0] "I was very surprised that Chelsea lost, I think she was having a good reign, and I didn't saw Zelina as a real threat, but she won, the match was extremely short, not a lot of stuff happened, they did the traditional sequences, like Zelina paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero, and Chelsea working her classic heel formula. Zelina did had some backstage angles before the match, quoting her mentors like Rey and Eddie, so it's a nice moment for her, but the match was filler - {*3/4}"
[4.0] "The match itself wasn't much to write home about, but it wasn't outright bad either. From the beginning, I didn't understand the need to force this underdog narrative with Zelina Vega, especially when Chelsea Green had been doing a pretty good job as U.S. Champion. Maybe this is just a transitional reign, but they really tried to frame the match as something more emotional than it actually was -- and what we got was painfully mediocre. Good for Zelina, I guess. But I'm not expecting much going forward. She doesn't even have a well-defined character right now. Hopefully I'm just being overly critical."
[5.0] "I'm sure this would be a halfway decent match but my god the commercial break took the majority of it away, I liked the idea that Chelsea is basically useless without her regime, I'm not sure what plans lay ahead for Chelsea but I'm not looking forward to Zelina either."
[6.0] "This was an okay match for what it was, slightly elevated by the title change and Zelina's celebration that I wish would have been longer, but the feud was barely there."
[6.0] "This was a mess most times and not the biggest fan of Chelsea losing her title but whatever. The lackluster buildup to this match was always going to be an uphill battle, and an ill-timed commercial break didn't help, sapping early momentum when they needed it most. While the crowd took a while to invest, the final act finally won them over. The raw emotion of her Zelina's celebration told the whole story of what it meant for her, a genuinely surprising title change that reminded us why unpredictability can be wrestling's greatest asset sometimes"
[5.0] "[2.25/5.00]: I'm a bit on the fence with this. After Vega racked up so many losses, it felt like she either needed a win or to be taken out of the title picture entirely. The weak build heading into this definitely didn't do it any favors, and a commercial cutting into the action took away from the momentum early on. The crowd seemed checked out for a while too, though they eventually warmed up by the closing stretch. While I'm not thrilled to see Green, who's been fantastic in her current role, drop the title, it might give her some fresh material to rant about, which could work in her favor."
