"This sucked and it's a great example of the bad booking on Smackdown. These two women have very little experience and are both babyface characters, asked to have a match with a commercial break in front of the post-Wrestlemania crowd. It is doomed to fail before they get put out there. They even did a robotic promo segment before this as well. Naomi actually came out to end the match and humped Jade as revenge for Wrestlemania. That's the best part, let me tell you."

These two obviously had some chemistry with one another. A 1v1 in the future at a PPV could have some good moments. DQ ending was a bit disheartening but made sense in the grand scheme of things. [**3/4]"

Jade countering Tiffany's cartwheel into the alabama into a powerbomb of her own was beautiful and it's moves like that which is where Jade can shine (remember the highlights of her match with Naomi at Mania were the catches into power moves). Wasn't expecting a clean finish and we didn't get one. Between this and the Naomi match, Jade has shown improvement. A decent effort."

[6.0] "As much as I wanted fresh pages to be written in both women's books, I could see why Naomi interfered to end this cool clash without a definite conclusion. Before that, these women tapped in their best moves out of their respective arsenals and developed great chemistry as rivals. Even though there were a few hiccups, the recovery was done with finesse. However, I don't get Nia Jax's re-entry into the title picture as there has to be a lot of conviction other than the regular yet curbed "former champ's rematch" clause. 3 out of 5 stars!"

Everything was going perfectly... until Naomi showed up. Naomi attacked Jade--like, why interfere in such a great match? Because of that, the match ended without a proper result. Then Nia Jax showed up and attacked Tiffany. I mean, seriously? And now, we'll probably get a tag team match soon... and by 'great match, ' I mean a really bad one."

Nileshramphal25 wrote on 29.04.2025:
[4.0] "Sloppy at the start, Jade has a very bad problem at selling moves and often needed to be leaded throughout the match, Tiffany also still not at the level that a champion should be at, power bomb spot was good but other than that a very forgettable match from what is supposed to be 2 of the top stars on smackdown"
vdarw1n wrote on 28.04.2025:
"It was an okay match. Just feel like both of them can not carry a match, their communication is so obvious throughout the match and the spots was so repetitive that I would expect that they might've just improvise it. I expected more from Jade tbh especially being away for so long, I didn't expect that she would be much worse than she was before. For Tiffany, she used to be so good on NXT, feels like being a world champion at an early career puts a lot of pressure into her."

[5.0] "After a pretty clunky start (and an awful Jade promo before the bell) this eventually got into a groove of sorts. Stratton isn't quite the vet that Jade needs opposite her so there were definitely awkward moments, but when Jade gets to show her power like with the powerbomb spot she can look good. Unfortunately just as it was getting going we got not one but two interference spots. Naomi's 'strikes' were HILARIOUS. **1/2"

The thing I really enjoy about Tiffany Stratton matches is her overall athleticism and intensity and aggression during the match. It always seems to shine and it didn't disappoint here. You can tell Jade is making big strides on her in ring development. Her power spots are actually one of the best in the women's division that transition that she did with Tiffany from the cartwheel Alabama slam to catching her in midair and power bombing her was incredible."

[5.0] "[2.25*] The most fun thing about this match is that it happened lol. I love impromptu matches and I popped a lot at the announcement. The match was decent until the obvious DQ finish that we all expected, but shoutout to Jade that looked better than expected, that Powerbomb was beautiful."

[6.0] "Rough at times and way too thrown together to signal that this was ever going to be a Instant Classic or anything approaching it, but there were moments of glory here, specifically Tiffy's cartwheel into the Alabama Slam that got disrupted when Jade turned it into a Liger-style powerbomb. But there were some sketchy moments, too, as these two are clearly still developing into the stars of tomorrow they're being groomed to be. Broken up to extend the feud with Naomi and Jade, but glimpses into what it could be in the near future. Docked a point for being ruled a "no contest, " which it wasn't, as Jade was the one attacked."

[5.0] "This match was okay. Jade Cargill is still kinda green for the in-ring, but she has some cool moves in her move-set that she has been bringing out, but I can tell she has improved a lot in the ring, and a lot of people have been seeing that. The match ended in a no contest after Naomi came and attacked Jade Cargill, which ensued a beatdown, but we saw the return of Nia Jax as she attacked Tiffany Stratton to signal that she will be going after the WWE Women's Championship once again."
killowenskill wrote on 26.04.2025:
[8.0] "I don't know what the Internet fans are missing, but Cargill did a great job again and again showed a cool match, and you can see how good her chemistry with Stratton is, and it even seems that they are emotionally connected more than Tiffany was connected with Charlotte, and the match turned out better. I understand that this is more of a preparation for the future than a full-fledged match, at least because of the final (well, like Sky and Vaquer), but in this situation they squeezed everything they could out of themselves. A cool and vibrant match (****)."

Aewwe wrote on 26.04.2025:
"Decent match, really picked up towards the end before the interference. A lot better than I was expecting once the impromptu match was made as neither have really led much in their short careers, but definitely a reasonable showing."

[5.0] "Let's be honest. There was some improvement from Jade, but the pace was very slow. Then again, this only served to give Tiffany a momentary rival in this episode but mostly to continue Naomi and Jade's rivalry, something that bores the hell out of me. Anyway, I wasn't expecting too much from the fight, but the continuation seems ridiculous to me. Nothing more."
sarahlicity wrote on 26.04.2025:
[5.0] "With Bianca out injured, the Smackdown women's division is incredibly weak at the moment, and the draft can't come soon enough. Stratton is fine enough between the ropes to warrant holding the belt, and even going over Charlotte, but with Flair at the back of the queue and Naomi also taking the loss last weekend, the list of prospective challengers is incredibly thin. This match showed that Cargill still has a ways to go to beyond the midcard, much like her fellow hoss in Nia."

[3.0] "The promo before the match wasn't great tiff was ok but jade sounded a bit forced. The match was ok with a couple of botches but the pace was way slower than you usually get from Tiffany and she seemed to struggle with jades slower pace. I'd probably still have given this match a 4 or 5 as the spots were pretty well executed and Tiffany's facial expressions were good. But unfortunately the finish was awful it was so incredibly bad the punches thrown by Naomi were probably the worst punches I have ever seen it was ridiculously bad and you know it's bad when you're glad Jax appeared as she looked far better and more professional than Naomi."
Jamildo2 wrote on 26.04.2025:
[4.0] "A weak promo and premise to start the match before it even began, not a great start. What followed was a badly performed, badly paced slop fest with a near catatonic crowd. The slip from tiffy happens so no shade there, but the obvious collusion and alarming lack of chemistry was jarring. A couple of times it was lucky that neither of them hurt the other. When Naomi interfered I was thanking [insert generic deity here] that the midness was over, and then she started throwing punches... not a single shot came within ten feet or Cargill. This whole segment was a mess from start to finish and the people who have rated this above a 6 are helping nobody. I refuse to believe that anyone wants to see more of that. At least Nia came out to add some much needed heat to the situation. ROUGH. 4/10"

[5.0] "An impromptu match, I was very interested to watch this, because Jade Cargill doesn't wrestle a lot on TV, and they're both very protected wrestlers, main event players of the company, so it's a pretty intriguing matchup, and before Naomi's intervention to end the match, it was going alright, not a lot of thrill, but definitely a solid match, with the highlight being that Jade Cargill counter into a powerbomb, it's always an awesome power move. The post-match angle made clear that Nia Jax is coming after Tiffany Stratton - {**1/4}"

[8.0] "This was actually pretty good in my opinion barring the finish, the ladies had chemistry, I'm not sure how Tiffany lost her ring credibility this early in her career, she does look green in most matches, but with Jade's powerhouse was the direct counter to her athleticism. Maybe they revisit this sooner or later, and gets better opponents because so far her run has seen some misses. Not sure what to feel about the Nia feud though."
Harisb wrote on 26.04.2025:
[7.0] "Given how strongly both women are booked, a clean finish always felt unlikely, and sure enough, Naomi's interference, though as predictable as it may seem, protected Jade and Stratton, while keeping Stratton's momentum intact. This feud is far from over, and that's fine I guess: Stratton vs. Cargill is money and from what we've seen they had legit chemistry, , and WWE would be crazy not to revisit it down the line. But for now, The DQ keeps all parties looking strong while adding fuel to what could be a summer rivalry. Not a fan of Nia reentering the title picture though."
Freakazoid wrote on 26.04.2025:
[7.0] "While these two showed flashes of solid chemistry, their limited experience together was apparent in some clunky moments, though they salvaged most of it with raw athleticism which is a fun dynamic for both these ladies. Ultimately, this felt less like a standalone match and more like a vehicle to advance the stories further: the explosive Jade/Naomi post-match beatdown and the Nia Jax/Tiffany confrontation, I don't know why either of them are happening. The in-ring work was fine, but the angles brewing outside the ropes were the takeaway from this."
